We had tried a salt cave before at another location, but they closed quite some time back and this is the first I had heard of another place offering one locally. We had a little trouble scheduling online, so we decided to see if we could just walk in and see if there was availability. We could, and there was! Andrea, the owner, gave us a tour of the place and explained how each item/service benefitted the mind and/or body. The setup and colors are very relaxing and inviting, and boy, did it smell good in there! Their salt cave, called the "Zen Den" has 4 extremely soft and cushiony chairs available, and we were each given a heated neck wrap. Andrea started the salt, which I could taste on my lips once it got going. I concentrated on breathing and tried not to think about anything besides this time to relax. My eyes were heavy, and I occasionally opened them for a moment to see the pretty twinkling lights in the ceiling before closing them again. There was soothing music playing as well, and Andrea had told us that it was a certain frequency to enhance relaxation. The 45 minutes went by too fast, and Andrea came in and offered us citrus infused water, then told us to take our time coming out. I seriously don't remember the last time I was so relaxed! The hydro massage had interested me, so we figured I might as well try it while we were there. It was amazing! Absolutely wonderful! It is sort of like a massage chair at a spa, multiplied by about a million. The water can massage you head to toe, or you can set it to concentrate on a particular part of your body. I'm having some pretty intense lower back pain and haven't found anything that helps, so I targeted my lower back and turned up the intensity. The speed was also adjustable. My back pain hasn't been quite so intense today, so I am cautiously optimistic that I have found something that will provide at least some relief! I scheduled a reiki session for next week, along with another visit to the zen den. I will also be trying their "recovery" circuit, which includes a session in the "salt booth", time in the hydro massage bed and 45 minutes in the infrared sauna. I haven't scheduled that one yet, but am excited to try it all! There are varying levels of membership, but you can schedule sessions without having a membership. There wasn't a "hard sell" to purchase a membership, which I greatly appreciated! Please support this local business! They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday but have hours into the evening on other days, which I find convenient!

It really warms up your muscles and relieves the pain with a nice scent, and you only need to use a bit of the lotion for it to work.

This studio is such a sacred and special space for me. Every time I walk in, I feel an incredible…read moresense of peace and closeness to God while I practice. It's not just exercise here--it's truly mind, body, and spirit. The instructors are all so talented, authentic, and kindhearted. They each bring something unique that makes this place unlike anywhere else: * Holly has taught me the power of breath. She constantly reminds us to focus on breathing, and learning to truly breathe has helped me manage anxiety far beyond the studio walls. She also emphasizes form--especially foot and hip alignment--which I know will benefit my longevity and overall health for years to come. * Geneive has this amazing way of making class challenging and fun. She has a "don't slack, but don't stress" kind of energy that leaves me feeling strong, empowered, and proud of what my body can do. * Haley pushes me in the best way. She challenges me to do things I never thought possible after the wear and tear my body has been through--and by God's grace and power, I rise to the occasion. Her classes are always uplifting, joyful, and fun. I've been to other Pilates studios, but none come close to the heart, authenticity, and spiritual refreshment I find here. It's more than a workout--it's a gift.

I want to first preface this review with saying I love the story behind this studio, but it just…read morewasn't what I expected. I don't want this to come off negative but I'm writing this review to give honest feedback. I purchased a class for my little sister and I to start her birthday off with a positive environment (she's new to the area). We are both familiar with pilates as we take classes weekly but I believe every instructor has their own style and this was our first time at this studio. We weren't welcomed by the instructor nor did she introduce herself to us which felt a bit awkward and unwelcoming. My confirmation email also said nothing about needing grip socks (the studio that I frequent doesn't require them as you can choose to be barefoot or use grip socks) so I wasn't prepared to spend additional money to purchase their socks on top of our class fee. There were certain movements that we didn't quite catch on to as fast as the instructor was telling us to move and it didn't seem like she cared to take the time to explain anything, repeat anything, or encourage us. The instructor very much so focused on about three of the other ladies in the class and talked with them throughout the class. It wasn't until I finally just sat on my reformer until one of the sequences was through that the instructor came over and asked if I wanted a modification and by then it was the end of the class and we felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I'm pretty dissatisfied with the service and I really wish I would've spent my money elsewhere for my sisters birthday. It's a cute place but to feel unwelcome because we aren't regulars felt really wrong to us. I don't know that we will be back.

I originally switched because this location was closer to me than PBT. Upon walking in, the store felt upscale and welcoming. The customer service was good, just slow, but that's to be expected when a new place opens. Either way, the only aspects of Glo tanning I didn't care for was that the staff have to walk you back to the room every time. This is part of the reason why it is slow. This also gets awkward when you are trying to do multiple things, like spa services and tanning, and so you are standing in the lobby waiting in line while you are in a robe (they provide this for you so you don't have to keep changing back into your clothes). Also when it comes to the spray tan, specifically the Versapro, they charge you for add-ons and it adds up. I didn't realize this when I signed up because at PBT all versa-pro add-ons are covered under your membership. At Glo tanning, the double leg is $5, the double dark is $5, the moisture pass is $5 (I believe), and then the rapid is $10. Most importantly, unlike PBT, you can NOT get the clear tan unless you get the rapid. I do not like to get the bronze tan (it makes me feel like I've been rolling in mud lol) and I didn't want to pay for the $10 rapid every week on top of the $70 membership fee, so this was a dealbreaker for me. Sadly, they don't have an informational sheet for the prices of the add-ons, so this is all just told to you verbally and can be hard to keep track of if you're new like I was. For those who lived on the east cost, like myself, you may also be familiar with Sunday's Sun Spa Shop and I will say in their membership you also had to pay for add-ons like the double leg and moisture pass but they did something called "blue bucks" so it only ended up being a few dollars additional charge on top of the membership fee, which I feel is more reasonable than what Glo is charging. Overall, Glo tanning is by far the most expensive tanning membership I've seen, but if you really value their unique spa services it might be worth it for you, but I don't think it's worth it for the spray tanning. You can get the same thing with PBT (just no rapid or double dark I believe) and their membership is around the same price as Glo.
