Opor is fantastic!! She listens and feels, adjusting the massage to what I need that day! I look forward to each massage.

I believe it was her first day, she was very professional and knowledgeable, even offering me a sample of locally sourced kombucha, which I highly recommend trying. Another staff member Chad, who was very personable greeted me initially. I thought he was the owner he was super knowledgeable. He patiently answered all my questions about the available packages, ensuring I was well educated and was able to get a package that fit my needs being I live so far. I did the cryotherapy session on the highest level for 3-minutes and 30-second. While it was intense it's absolutely bearable, the feeling afterward was well worth it. After that I experienced the compression therapy, which I highly recommend for anyone with a desk job or who sits for extended periods it felt sooo good. The spa itself is immaculate and beautifully designed, it was clean which enhanced the overall experience. Given the quality of treatments and the professionalism of the staff, investing in a monthly package is a wise choice for those living nearby. Even though I live farther away I will absolutely be returning soon.

I am actually a member of the Las Colinas Lifetime but I visit the Flower Mound club every now and…read morethen for a change of scenery and to play against unfamiliar pickleball players in a different venue. Altogether, I've been a Lifetime member off and on going back to 2003, and while there's always plenty of comparison and criticism from members, there isn't a better fitness operation around. Even though I don't go to this location often, I'm very comfortable with its layout because it's pretty much identical to my old club in Columbus, Ohio. While I have not taken any classes at Flower Mound, it is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and want in a club. In addition to the multitude of weights, classes, personal training, and treadmills, it also has a recovery area which, although smaller than Las Colinas, offers the massage chairs, cryo chairs and leg compression found at my home club. The #1 reason I belong to Lifetime from an amenities standpoint is because of recovery/rejuvenation - that alone is worth the price of admission. I love that Flower Mound took one of its two hot tubs in the main lap pool area and converted it to a cold plunge - so it's worth the trip when I go over there to play pickleball and then go to the tubs. As for pickleball itself, the courts are next to the basketball court as they occupy part of what was once a full area devoted to hoops. The courts are side by side and have no dividers. Last time I was there the club left a basket of balls that everyone plucked from when they didn't want to chase down a ball from their court, which I don't think is a great fix as you end up with tons of balls lying around that someone could step or trip on. As for the pickleball experience itself, the players are friendly, the space is a bit humid, sometimes there's an attendant there - sometimes not. The experience is the equivalent of what you'll find at a municipal operation like Wagon Wheel in Coppell or L.B. Houston - smaller parks with some programming, except that it is indoors with fewer courts. I don't get the impression it's run very well, or that it's a top club priority, but it's good enough to work into my playing routine from time to time when I want to change it up. Overall, the Flower Mound Lifetime, based on the time I've spent there, is an excellent health and fitness choice packed with value no matter your health mission.

We had tried a salt cave before at another location, but they closed quite some time back and this is the first I had heard of another place offering one locally. We had a little trouble scheduling online, so we decided to see if we could just walk in and see if there was availability. We could, and there was! Andrea, the owner, gave us a tour of the place and explained how each item/service benefitted the mind and/or body. The setup and colors are very relaxing and inviting, and boy, did it smell good in there! Their salt cave, called the "Zen Den" has 4 extremely soft and cushiony chairs available, and we were each given a heated neck wrap. Andrea started the salt, which I could taste on my lips once it got going. I concentrated on breathing and tried not to think about anything besides this time to relax. My eyes were heavy, and I occasionally opened them for a moment to see the pretty twinkling lights in the ceiling before closing them again. There was soothing music playing as well, and Andrea had told us that it was a certain frequency to enhance relaxation. The 45 minutes went by too fast, and Andrea came in and offered us citrus infused water, then told us to take our time coming out. I seriously don't remember the last time I was so relaxed! The hydro massage had interested me, so we figured I might as well try it while we were there. It was amazing! Absolutely wonderful! It is sort of like a massage chair at a spa, multiplied by about a million. The water can massage you head to toe, or you can set it to concentrate on a particular part of your body. I'm having some pretty intense lower back pain and haven't found anything that helps, so I targeted my lower back and turned up the intensity. The speed was also adjustable. My back pain hasn't been quite so intense today, so I am cautiously optimistic that I have found something that will provide at least some relief! I scheduled a reiki session for next week, along with another visit to the zen den. I will also be trying their "recovery" circuit, which includes a session in the "salt booth", time in the hydro massage bed and 45 minutes in the infrared sauna. I haven't scheduled that one yet, but am excited to try it all! There are varying levels of membership, but you can schedule sessions without having a membership. There wasn't a "hard sell" to purchase a membership, which I greatly appreciated! Please support this local business! They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday but have hours into the evening on other days, which I find convenient!
