First, They claimed they haven't offered the knife special of $30 for fives knives in over 15 years- except my first review of them was written in 2013, and I took my knives there a few times after that. I always got the special which might have gone up to $35. So that is a lie on their part. The price has increased significantly in only a couple years. Again, the price is one thing, and I wouldn't have complained if they hadn't tarnished my knives. My knives were all tarnished as shown in the photo and their response implies that it was somehow my fault? That they would "never" have done that but if I still don't believe them they will polish them for free? What kind of a response is that? That is how the knives looked when I got them back. How would I do that to the knives myself? I hand wash them. I don't hold them over open flames. All my other knives are fine. I'm sorry I love supporting local businesses but this is just terrible.

When I picked them up he James pointed out that there was a split in the body of my clipper, (which I have never seen or felt before) He said someone must have dropped them. They only make a very loud noise turning them on and will not cut anything! Not only that..the other cordless Wahl clipper I trusted him to sharpen also does not work! They won't cut hair! Plus body won't close properly ! It's like someone dropped that too! I called James and he said that I am wrong..he stated that they won't work because I didn't oil it properly! Ha! I've have been oiling clippers for 30 years! However, the point remains. Both clippers worked when I brought them in and both do not work at all when I tried to use them to cut my clients hair! My knives were not dull when I gave them to him as I tune and do some sharpening myself. I gave him two thick old and one newer German steel kitchen knives, a Japanese steel chef knife, a camp/hunting knife and my son's great uncle's heirloom scout knife of a very hard carbon steel to sharpen. Each had specific geometry re-edge requests and certain blade, heel or point damage/use issues to fix. The final products were edges sharper then new that literally glinted in the sunlight. As a side note Scott is also a very personable guy who enjoys and takes pride in his craft. An old chef, when I was 10, once told me you'll only cut yourself with a dull knife because it slips off what it was cutting.

Kam arrived well within the time range, requested. He was also friendly and polite. I was just going to get one key and not program the fob as I have become well adjusted to opening my doors the old fashioned way due to a dead battery. The price was reasonable so I opted to program the fob and get an additional key done. The price was still reasonable. If you're in a bind, I reccommend On Point.
