Super fast key cutting, and had a good chat with the guy. Super friendly owner that delivers a great service. Have used is service more than one occasion and was pretty surprised not to see a review here. Their main business is all the offices and spaces in the area, since it is a central downtown location. Key cutting is more of a hobby, a way to connect with the locals, and just to help their fellow man/woman. They are able to go right to your door and start working on it, as would anyone that's obsessed with doors would. Prices are super reasonable, and I don't see why you shouldn't get atleast a few keys copied while you're there. All in all, 5 Stars for these key cutters. read more

On apple map and Yelp this place says 24/7 and open all week. I went there on a Saturday about 1:30pm and it was closed. I called the store number that was listed and this clown-like representative picks up and keeps cutting me off saying the actual location closes on the weekends and just the call center is 24/7, which is pretty misleading and stupid. He kept cutting me off abd talking about the call center so I hung up. He messages me saying I should show more respect LMAO. Take business elsewhere people! He should've definitely joined a circus, instead of this job. read more

DO NOT USE THEM - MAJOR PROPERTY DAMAGE The locksmith tried for 2 hours and failed to get in to my apartment and then said that the absolute only way to get in was to drill a hole through my door. He drilled the messiest hole through my door AND through my granite flooring. After that DID NOT WORK, he drilled through my lock and changed the locks. A friend was there supervising for me as I was out of town so when I saw the damaged property I emailed a picture to show them what a sloppy poor job they had done and they blamed my friend for rushing them and said she 'knew the risks'? She is not a locksmith and she patiently waited for 2 hours while they damaged my property for no reason and gave her false information. They did not give her the option to drill through the lock which would have 100% avoided the 'risks'. After they blamed my friend and I asked why they didn't just switch the locks in the first place instead of ruining my irreparable door and entryway they stopped responding to my emails. EDIT: They offered me a $45 refund on the $130 job after a number of emails and a yelp review. read more

Randy, the automotive specialist, showed true class and excellency in customer service. After losing the last and only copy of my ignition key, I got a few quotes, all $180 - $250 to have someone come out to the vehicle to make a new key. When I called Randy over the phone he helped me dismantle my car's door lever to retrieve the code I needed to get a new key cut without needing the old key. Since I wasn't in a rush, I was able to take the code in and get a new key cut for a fraction of the price. I recommend Mr. Locksmith Automotive and Randy himself. Good guy. read more

Locked my keys in my car and needed help. It had been 2.5 hours since I called another locksmith, I had called them back and asked what was going on. I have used Mr. Locksmith in West Vancouver and Downtown. They are efficient, knowledgeable and fair. I recently used the service at 555 West Hastings and cannot recommend Kent Ng highly enough. He helped me change a keypad only lock (the previous owners left with the master passcode) and install a new lock (the previous owners took the deck lock).
