Alan is a great guy. He came out to our business and helped fix our digital key pad for our safe. It was a wire issue. Tried a couple other locksmiths to come out and fix this on a Sunday and they either didnt get back to me or did not work on Sundays. I was really happy with how quick he did the job. It was also great to actually get a person (Alan) on the phone and not have to leave a voice mail because it is the weekend. Thanks Alan! We will for sure use your services when needed again. read more

Tried contacting Mr. Locksmith 4 weeks ago to replace a mailbox lock. No response in a week, tried again. Another week went by, was told in an email to use the chat feature on the website. Again, tried to set up a time to get the lock fixed, nobody called. One last try, was told that it was escalated, no response in a few days. Decided to call a different locksmith, they answered the call, booked a time and date within 5 minutes. Mr. Locksmith's customer service is terrible, I would never recommend them. read more

I called him Sunday morning of a long weekend after my deadbolt lock jammed. He was extremely courteous and professional on the phone and after exchanging some texts he arrived within an hour. He removed the old jammed deadbolt and provided options of repairing or replacing and quoted very reasonable prices on each. We decided on a new lock which he rekeyed so we didn't have to change keys. He didn't leave until locked worked perfectly. Total bill was appropriate and exactly as he quoted. Amazing service. I wish all repairs were this easy. read more

Needed a broken door latch replaced. Luckily it happened that he was in the neighbourhood and came in 3 minutes. Took less than 10 minutes to replace the latch. Very courteous, no fuss, and pofessional work. Highly recommended. read more

Very prompt and professional. Allen came the next day and fixed our problem.

Knowledgeable, professional, price-worthy and reliable - what more would one want in a locksmith?! Sets up and KEEPS appointments which is worth its weight in gold. We highly recommend Alan. read more

Was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Would recommend to perform locksmith services.

I am very pleased with the service I received last Friday from Nicholas Lee of Mr. Locksmith (Vancouver). I needed the cylinder replaced on a Schlage Primus mortice lock on my front door, and it was hard to find a locksmith who had experience with the Primus locks. Nick arrived promptly and was knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and courteous--and the total cost was reasonable. I would highly recommend him. read more

Alan responded quickly to request and was able to make the lock changes the same day. Professional and efficient.

Loved that he answered the phone! Mid-afternoon on Sunday of a long weekend. Was available within a 3-hr window, said at what time, showed up, got me inside my house. Dependable, responsive, professional. Made a crap afternoon much less crappy. Big ups to Alan (I think) read more

This guy is super nice, friendly, and chatted with me about life, spirituality, and the like all while professionally and quickly changing my locks. He's a life-saver and very good prices, doesn't wanna scam anybody and all in all just seems like a hardworking reliable man. My door was in bad shape and he managed to secure it easily and without guilting or upselling me. I feel way safer, and as a bonus he showed and explained to me exactly what he was doing to the point where he basically taught me the beginner techniques. SO nice to find a respectful, professional locksmith. Will go back to him for sure! read more

I had an extremely expensive metal front door installed at my office. The handle fell off late on a Thursday afternoon just before closing. I called the company that had installed the door and they were too busy to fix the handle until a couple of days later. I called Nick at Mr. Locksmith and then texted him a photo of the door handle. Nick said he could come the next day and arrived exactly when he said he would and fixed the handle. They are professional, dependable and extremely responsive. Plus when presented with the invoice - very reasonable. I will be calling Mr. Locksmith for any of my lock needs. read more

2nd time I've used Alan. Quick. Friendly. Affordable. And super knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone! He showed up in 10 minutes and was done in 30 min. Great value! read more

Excellent service. Cut keys from scratch very quickly. Good price. Would highly recommend.

Alan showed up in 20 mins as promised. He is polite and courteous. He was professional and he checked my ID before unlocking my door! He seems to know his stuff and he patiently explained to me why the lock was jammed. It's not cheap as he opened the door within a minute! He spent a little more time to fix the lock for an extra cost. Though it's not out of line in my opinion. It's 11pm at night and you gotta do what you gotta do. read more

OK, I really don't believe the 1-star review that was given for this service before. I have used Alan Huang (aka Mr. Locksmith Vancouver West) twice, and both times he has responded to my call courteously, was able to meet me immediately to unlock my door, and provided great service. I never felt pushed into any additional purchases or upgrade sales. Both times, I got locked out of my house and needed to get in, urgently. Once was on a holiday. Both times, he was at my place within 30 minutes to do the job, and while he suggested that I change my locks for security purposes, he didn't push when I declined the first time (the second time I got locked out, I did change my locks, which he did for very little additional cost). He didn't charge me crazy extra amounts for the holiday call-out. He remembered me from my first appointment on the second appointment. I had originally called Mr. Locksmith Richmond (which is where I live), and they had referred me to Alan on the holiday that I was locked out - now he's in my phone as "MY Locksmith," and while I hope I won't have to use him too often, he will always be my first call. read more
