What an awesome we had. My other half had a Chef Salad that was excellent he said! Presentation was colorful, fresh and tasty. I had the Ribeye Steak Sandwich which was perfectly cooked to my liking! "Mooing" rare! lol. There was a generous portion of sliced steak in a soft hoagie type bun. For our drinks we had Arnold Palmers that were perfectly portioned! This is a sports type bar and grill with plenty of TV's, comfortable seating, music playing that was at a perfect level so we could actually hear ourselves talk to each other. I popped in around 3 p.m. on a Tuesday and was surprised to find the place buzzing--people eating, day-drinking, working on laptops, or boldly attempting all three at once. With three folks at the bar and five tables seated, our server Mandi was absolutely owning the room. Not a hint of stress--just calm, confident, boss-babe energy. I was greeted right away, my drink showed up fast, and my food wasn't far behind. Timing? Nailed it. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with extra cheese (because obviously) and asked for jalapeños. For my side, I went with the French fries at Mandi's recommendation--always trust the fry intel. When the food arrived, I immediately took a bite...okay, that's a lie. I took pictures first. Priorities. After my second bite, Mandi swooped in and noticed the missing jalapeños before I even said a word. She asked if I wanted them grilled and honestly? Genius. Yes. A thousand times yes. Food Review: Soft, pillowy bread. Tender, plentiful meat. Extra cheese in the exact right "this makes my heart happy" ratio. Our waitress was fantastic. No problem at all with her. Super friendly. The food was bar food but the only reason this is not getting higher than 2 stars was our food was cold and not cool, but I just pulled this from the refrigerator cold. They reheated it with the hot chicken tenders on the plate which made the chicken tenders hard and Not crispy. Next time heat the ice cold potatoes without the already hot chicken tenders. They did take it off our bill so that was cordial. I would just stick to the wings. read more

We went in today and waited 10 minutes just to be seated as there was a sign that stated for us to wait for the hostess to be seated. Once we were finally in a booth we waited another 20 minutes for our waiter/waitress to come and they never did. We saw all the tables around us getting served and never once did anyone check on us. The food was actually so delicious. I don't understand how you can have such good food but the absolute worst service i've ever come across. Once we were seated, it took probably 20 minutes to put in our drink orders as well as appetizers. 20 more minutes give or take to finally get our drinks, which were alcoholic I should mention. You would think on a saturday night you'd want to have the people that are drinking your expensive drinks more so maybe you'll get more than a $4 tip. 30 minutes go by and our entrees show up whilst our appetizers never did. We told the girl just to cancel the appetizers because what's the point of an appetizer if your food shows up before it. The servers look at you like there is not a thought behind their eyes when asking the simplest questions. The only good things about this place was the food and the gentleman that was sweeping the floors that finally came to us and asked if we needed another drink. I'm pretty sure this is in the top 3 of my favorite places to eat in Lubbock. Laid back, good music, TVs visible from every seat. Best menu and great not just good but great food. Worst meal ever, and for the price we paid it was a waste . My husband had the " trio " fajita plate and I had chicken nachos, the meat was overcooked and salty the shrimp was gummy and overcooked as well. The majority of my chips were stale and my chicken was salty and over cooked. We used DoorDash so imagine all the extra charges that came with that. Their service was terrible, not many patrons and plenty of staff so what was the problem? Three of us were there for burgers and beers and even though the orders were all wrong, like all the wrong toppings, not cooked to order, even remade one which still wasn't correct. All of that didn't bother me. It was like having to pull teeth to get a beer (and we were at the bar) some guy emerged from the kitchen to fix himself a drink? (What is this "Self Service" I thought?) As we're finishing up our meal, another guy approaches and says "I heard there was a problem with the burgers"? For some reason his approach, his question, his demeanor just hit me the wrong way. I asked him to explain what their problem was? He didn't like that and began to insult me. Come to find out this guy, "Mika" was the owner. Now I understand their poor service. This guy apparently has never had any kind of customer service training and therefore unable to teach his staff. He never introduced himself, never apologized and never offered any kind of explanation, just poor overall customer service and interaction. You would think with the Covid-19 shutdown he would be a bit more concerned about his business. I didn't expect much from a bar with bar food so I was OK with all of that. It was "The owner's" poor attitude which made me write this. It became a bad experience because of him. I will not be going back and I don't recommend this place when there are so many other places to patronize who would love to have my business. read more

The waitress were always friendly and made sure we have everything as we like it. The food is pretty good. The fried pickles really leave a lot to be desired. If you want to try them, choose them as a side to your dish for 1/4 of the price of the appetizer. They are flour breaded but not seasoned at all. Our favorite dish is the dubliner, an open faced roast beef with gravy and mashed all over toast. Yum! The atmosphere is welcoming for families at the tables or sports fans sitting at the bar, alike. The price is good and the portions are large. We have come here a few times and it's fun especially for the FIFA world cup and such. My waitress may have taken a break during her shift I had a couple of servers. read more

I had been in my car for about 20 minutes and saw people that came after me leave before me with their orders! When I went inside to see what was up, they had completely forgotten about me. I was pretty excited to try it out especially after being seated. Great looking menu and atmosphere! The beer was even extremely cold and only 2.50$ a pint on Saturday. However, our waitress gave us such a terrible experience that ruined it all . I ordered the Mediterranean chicken salad... in the menu it is titled exactly in this manner and includes chicken in the description with chicken in the picture as well. There is also no other place on the page or under the description with options to add chicken or upgrade your salad to include a meat. I know this specifically because I asked to see the menu again to make sure I wasn't going crazy. My salad came out without chicken... asked the waitress politely about the chicken she informed me that even though I ordered the Mediterranean "CHICKEN" salad I had to request chicken. This is when I asked to see the menu again. I showed the waitress the salad page and expressed my confusion again. I was told she even "asked her manager" and he told her chicken was not included on the chicken salad. Average tasting burger and fries though a pretty good value on Mondays at $5.49. Otherwise, pricing is comparable to Chili's and Applebees though food not quite as good. Loren took good, attentive care of us. This is probably my 5th visit here and they are never busy (at least not at breakfast (on the weekend only) or lunch). In fact, I'm not sure how they stay open... must do lots of business in the evenings or at their bar. I will say their breakfast on the weekend is pretty tasty and reasonably priced. read more

My girlfriend and I went to Beefs last week for St. Patrick's Day and to watch Texas Tech hand a "L" to the Florida Gators in the round of 32. We chose to go here because they were one of few places advertising an Irish menu. We were going to grab a table but they were busy and a couple bar seats opened up right as we arrived. We decided to sit at the bar and it was a great choice. The bar tenders were awesome, responsive, and provided great service. They had a great, friendly crowd at the bar, who were mostly regulars. The best part of our visit was the service and seeing the owner interacting with all of his customers, especially on such a busy night. He came over to us and chatted for a few minutes. I'd recommend this restaurant and bar, and we will be back again. read more

We eat lunch here st least once a week. We have tried lots of menu items but we go because I like their salad. The lettuce is always fresh & crisp and not from a bag & toppings are generous. Burgers & tacos are good and we like the fish (cod filets) & chips. They update the menu often with trendy additions like Hot Chicken & flatbreads. They also have daily lunch specials. They atmosphere is basic Sports bar with lots of tvs & sports themed decor. It's not seedy. The waitresses are efficient & the owner/ manager is frequently around. We started coming to this eatery when we would come to town to visit our daughter (TTU "guns up!"). Anyhoooo, the food is pretty good, fresh and tasty. The wait staff (i.e. Loren) are great and work very hard to make your dining experience a good one. The owner is very accommodating and makes it a priority that his patrons are happy. Been here twice and both times, the waitresses had the personality of an ice cube. The food is okay, if you don't mind the waitresses.

Food was average, not too good. Limited menu, not too many choices. Won't go back.
