1 Star - Extremely Disappointed in Service and Transparency Brought my car to Beechmont Toyota for a buzzing sound from the rear. It sat parked for 40 minutes before being touched.They charged me $205 just to tighten a loose spare tire screw, with zero breakdown or explanation of their diagnostic rates or labor time.Worse, my car entered with a half tank of gas and was returned with a quarter tank because the technicians left the engine running with the AC blasting in the workshop which has absolutely nothing to do with a rear buzzing sound.Incredibly wasteful and overpriced. I've had my 2005 Toyota Matrix for 15+ years and loved that car. I've maintained and taken care of it over the years. It definitely shows. Unfortunately a total loss occurred and it's time to get a newer car. I miss it. A lot of great memories and it ran like a champ. My Mr. mentioned coming to this location. He's been to this location twice and loves the service. He mentioned the car sales representatives are not pushy, friendly and accommodating. So I decided to try them out. I was wanting a used car with low mileage at a reasonable price. I wouldn't have mind getting another matrix but they don't make those anymore. So I looked at the Rav 4 in the used section and fell in love with a gray vehicle- 2022. Vic came out and greeted us. Very down to earth and patient man. I was at ease and didn't feel pressured to buy anything. He walked through the details and asked if I wanted to test drive the car. We asked him to tag along so any questions we had, he answered. I asked a lot of questions. He was honest and not pushy. I fell in love with the car. I know it's not good to jump into the first vehicle you see but my gut told me to get it and my Mr. Supported me in my decision. It took 3 1/2 hours but now this baby is mine and I'm proud. While they eventually solved the problem little, concern was given to the time required of me to return for a fix to the recall update previously provided - and that visit didn't end well either. I requested a loaner car knowing the repair would likely take a large portion of the day - I also rearranged my schedule to allow for the trip. On the way over to drop the car they called to inform me that the loaner car was not available and that I could reschedule. Not a good lead-time. As a result I wasted most the day waiting.....wasn't going to lose a slot and continue driving a crippled car. In the end, it appears they did resolve the issue, so at least thankful for that. read more

Took my tacoma there for an easy maintenance, oil change, wheel rotation, and trans fluid change. The very next morning I was on a weekend get away trip over an hour away when my truck broke down and I saw the issue. Hose never connected, fluid everywhere. They towed the truck back and the transmission was destroyed. They replaced the transmission with a remanufactured transmission. Which they refused to give me a better warranty than 1 year. I said I wanted better than that considering that's the standard warranty and I only average 15k miles a year on that truck, a they are the ones that destroyed my transmission. The management was horrible and spoke to me like I was out of line for asking for a more than bare minimum warranty that's 1 year. They will give bare minimum service after they destroy your vehicles transmission. I will never return to there or refer them. read more

I took my 2024 Toyota RAV4 in for service today. I told the service advisor I was leaving on vacation in two days to South Carolina, and I wanted to make sure my car would make it there and back. My service included an oil change, tire rotation, and Coolant System Service. There was a recall on my car as well; they replaced the upper radiator guide assembly. They also did an appraisal on my vehicle for resale value purposes. This took about three hours. So when I got my car back, I went to work. I am an Uber driver, so I drive my car every day. I use my horn every day. My horn worked perfectly fine yesterday. I know because I used it several times. When I got my car back today, while working, I was cut off by a driver on the road and tried my horn. My horn didn't work. I called the Toyota service department to reach my advisor, and I had to leave a VM. He didn't get back to me for almost two hours. He told me that the service tech had gone home for the day, that I would have to make an appointment to bring my car back in for them to look at my steering wheel, and it was going to cost me $179.00 if they had to take my steering wheel apart to diagnose the problem. This was the first time I had gone to Beechmont Toyota for service on my vehicle. Now my horn doesn't work. I am getting ready to drive it on vacation. I am told I have to make a service appointment to have them look at my car again, take time out of my busy schedule, and that I have to cover the cost of fixing the problem that didn't exist until I took it to their service department. This is the first and last time I will be giving my business to this dealership. Very disappointed with Beechmont Toyota; you may want to think twice before using them. read more

I have had nothing but terrible experiences here. They do not communicate well with their customers at all! You show up there to drop of your vehicle and they all just stare at you. Once they are working on your vehicle they send you a report over text! They do not call you! They tell you over the website all the things your car needs and you can click it and pay for it just like that. You then show up and the service advisors will sometimes go over the report with you and tell you "you don't need this stuff yet, get your money out of it first". So some people are just blindly spending money on stuff they don't even need. This past visit I had an issue with my park brake malfunction and it just required a simply calibration. They charged me $200 just to look at it. I then offered to pay $1200 on new tires from them if they would waive the original fee and they said no. When I showed up to get my car. The advisor told me nothing about my car. Just had me pay and sent me out the door. I then discovered the cap to my brake fluid was missing so I called the dealership to check. It took me 8 times of calling to finally get in touch with someone who actually checked for me. She then told me they didn't lose the part because they didn't even open my hood for that visit which is odd because I got a full inspection that said they checked my brake fluids. Also, if you notice my cap is missing why was nothing said to me or offered to help me replace it. So they lied and never actually inspected my car or they noticed something was wrong and didn't even communicate it to me. I spend so much money at this place and they have horrible customer service. So much so that I'm about to drive an hour away to go to kings Toyota instead. My experience has been so bad that I may just get a whole new vehicle so I no longer have to deal with Toyota! read more

I called for an appointment to fix the monitor screen on the center of the dashboard the systems button was not working there was no way the maps would work connected to my phone phone is working properly but after a half an hour starting at 8:00 a.m. that couldn't figure it out wanted me to stay there take my phone take the car and spend the day there. Beechmont Toyota I have been a loyal customer for about 40 years and have bought new and used cars there. My 2023 Camry has not been touched by anyone but Beechmont Toyota. August 2025, I took my 2023 Camry in for factory service. I had detailed my car the day before and cleaned the wheels by a hand and a soft cloth. No scratches anywhere on my wheels. I went home afterwards and looked at my wheels and 2 were scratched. I called the service manager Stacy She agreed to fix one wheel. I refused and told her I would find a new dealer. Today, I went back for another factory service. I talked to the .Sales manager and the Service Manager and the Service manager treated me like I was a thief. In the past, I've bought two Toyotas from here, and the entire experience was always top notch, so when my lady needed a new car, I suggested coming here too. She really liked the experience too, and our salesman, Vic Coomer, was awesome and not pushy at all. We were looking for a pre-owned Rav4 and found a 2022 that my lady wanted to test drive. Vic helped us out a lot and told us all about the vehicle. He was so easy to work with and very down-to-earth. After the test drive, my lady was sold, so Vic took us through everything we needed to do, making sure we understood it all. It took a couple hours but it was worth it. When it's time for our next Toyota, not only are we coming back, we're asking for Vic by name. His service was truly above and beyond. read more

Brought my car in for oil change and tire rotation plus make sure to test the 12 v battery since it was 5 years old. service was completed and drove home. However I noticed there was no documentation that the battery was tested. Next morning tried to start the car and it would not start. Had the battery jumped and took it back. service advisor said they performed a cold test the first time but did a more complete test the second time and the battery failed and the battery failed this test. Shortly after I purchased my vehicle from Beechmont Toyota, I noticed my back tire on the passenger side was missing the valve stem cap. So, when I came in on Saturday for an oil change, I requested that they put a cap on it. The response? Deceptive Practices, Poor Service, and Lack of Professionalism at Beechmont Toyota When I purchased my 2025 RAV4, one of my conditions was to have a dash cam installed. The salesperson contacted the service department regarding Toyota's 360° dash cam, which I specifically requested. Initially, the service team said it was not compatible with my vehicle. Later, after further communication, they confirmed that the integrated dash cam was compatible. Based on this confirmation, I agreed to proceed and paid $730 (including installation) for the integrated dash cam as part of the vehicle purchase contract. However, one and a half months passed with no communication from the dealership regarding the installation. When I followed up, I was told they had simply forgotten to order it. After finally placing the order, they contacted me to say the dash cam had arrived and asked me to drop off my car for installation. That evening, I received a call from the sales manager informing me that the integrated dash cam was actually not compatible--despite prior confirmation from both the salesperson and the service department, and despite it being in the contract. He then offered to install a better aftermarket dash cam and assured me that the service department would provide full details. I trusted their judgment and scheduled an appointment. When I dropped off my car, the service department provided no information about the dash cam--only repeating what the sales manager had said. I was told to expect same-day service, but my car was returned the next day. To my shock, I discovered they had installed a low-quality dash cam that I later found on Amazon for just $30. Even worse, the dash cam could not connect to my phone using the recommended app. Additionally, a large hole had been left behind the rearview mirror from the installation, the car had been driven 60 miles, and I noticed paint peeling off the hatch below the RAV4 badge. I immediately informed them and showed the service team the paint damage, the hole near the rearview mirror, and the poor quality of the dash cam. I was given another appointment. When I returned, a different service advisor argued with me about whether the paint damage was covered under warranty. He also told me that if I still wanted the Toyota integrated dash cam, it would cost an additional $5,000 because it required installing a digital rearview mirror. They then removed the dash cam--and once again drove the car 60 miles. To make matters worse, they left a large black stain on the roof of my car during the process and never bothered to clean it. I recently brought in my car to have an issue checked regarding water accumulation between the window and door panel. The person who was supposed to assist me never showed up. Instead, a lady came to help. I showed her the issue, and she immediately dismissed it, saying it was "normal." When I asked for an inspection report, her reaction made me feel as though I had done something wrong. Her demeanor was unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable--as if requesting documentation was an unreasonable demand. She told me to wait 30 minutes for the report. After that time passed, she miscalled me, and I stepped out of the lobby to ask if she was looking for me. At that point, a man standing at her desk--who I later learned was the manager--spoke to me in a rude and condescending manner. Without introducing himself, he said, "If you're unhappy with the car, talk to the sales manager. He'll give you a number." He then claimed he owns 22 Toyotas and that "every Toyota does that," completely dismissing my concern. While this issue may be considered "normal," I've never had such an experience before. I didn't respond at the time, but I feel it's important to mention that my father ran two Toyota dealerships in my home country until he retired. I grew up around real cars, not toy ones, and I've owned and driven various Toyota models over the years--none of them had this kind of water accumulation issue. To make matters worse, when they handed me the keys and pointed to my car in the parking lot, I found that the plastic seat covers, paper floor mats, and tags were still inside. They handed me the key with the car in this condition. Typically, they remove all these items and pull the car up to the designated area before handing it over. This reflects a careless and disrespectful attitude toward customers. This behavior is not only unprofessional but deeply disappointing. Back at Toyota again. We have a 2024 Grand Highlander. There is a plastic piece on the center console. That has turned light grey. It looks like a piece of plastic that has been left out in the weather (rain and sun) for 20 years. My wife took the car in a couple of weeks ago to see when it could be replaced. They said we would need to make an appointment to see when they can look at it to see if it is covered by their warranty. She drove the car there that day and they could not look at the piece to review it that day? Hard to believe. She went it two days later and they took a picture of it so their warranty person could take a look when they were available. After that they asked us to make an appointment so I'm here today and they said you can leave the keys in it and we will have it done by 5pm. It is 8:45AM! It takes that long to check their warranty? I told them I am waiting for it to be done and they said an hour and half. They told me they would have to order the part IF it is covered by the warranty. We have had this car less than a year and it is garage kept at home and work. I'll put this review at a 2 currently, being generous already due to the wait time, and adjust after they let me know what they can do. Obliviously, if this is not covered after less than a year the review will be lowered. After doing to the advisor after an hour and 40 minutes she (Alissa) said they are too busy and it would be longer. I asked how much longer. She said I would think 45 minutes. Based her first guess on timing I decided to ask to reschedule. I asked for an appt. Mon or Friday where they can take a look within an hour. I asked if she can guarantee that to avoid another day like this. She gave me another date and time. I hope the next appt is better. A waste of 2 hours of my time for someone to look or take another picture of a plastic piece that has discolored within a year. Really bad customer service. At the bare minimum I would expect an update after the hour and a half from Alissa. Latest update for our 3rd visit for this issue. 8/11 appointment for them to look at the plastic piece AGAIN. 8AM appointment tmw t. Advisor Alissa met me again and took notes for the appointment. This is the 3rd one, so I am not sure why we needed new notes? She said it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Seems like a long time to look at a defective plastic piece that obviously needs to be replaced under warranty. They said last time the warranty person needs to look at the part to confirm it is covered. Just to look at it? We will see what they say. My son works at a Honda dealership and he could not see why a bumper to bumper warranty on a car, that is less than a year old, would not cover this. He thought covering this would be a quick visit. Time will tell. Update later that morning. With the third visit they sent me away since the part wouldn't be there until 1pm and they said they 'should be' able to get it fixed by 5pm. Hey, they kept their word the third time! We picked it up at 5pm. 3 separate visits and a lot of time waiting for a plastic piece replacement under warranty for a car less than a year old. Buyer Beware. I got bait and switched on pricing when I got to finance, the loan amount was 4k more than previously provided in writing. After a very long purchase process I was exhausted and went along with it. I took the truck home and found it was too long to fit in my garage. I put in an early call the next business day and the salesman asked me to come in to locate a replacement with a shorter truck bed. When I got there I was made to wait 40 minutes after our agreed upon meeting time. At which point I found out no research had been done on locating a truck that may fit my needs. Since they didn't have a truck with the options I needed in stock, Beechmont Toyota refused to help me locate or order a truck that would work for me. I even offered to spend more and they did not provide a solution. The floor manager on duty (Bob) pretended to call the police when I suggested I would leave the new truck and take my trade back. I have a 2023 Tacoma that I bought from beechmont Toyota and it is 1200ish mile out of warranty. They told me it needs a new/or completely rebuilt motor. They quoted $15k and I found a used motor with 19k miles on it for $4400 and the same place is putting it in for $3000. Beware of buying a vehicle from them because if there are major issues that happen that should not have happened they will not stand behind there product. After 4 vehicle purchases and service for all of them I for the first time felt like I was pressured by a person who really only wanted their commission. She made me extremely uncomfortable and literally told me my truck needed an alignment with no proof. The head of service sent me my "report" for my truck. It was the wrong truck. He apologized and sent the correct report. Other than the tire thread (which yes I know I'll need new tires for the fall and I SURE am not comfortable getting them from Beechmont) the only other thing that showed was ONE tire had wear on the outside. He said well didn't you see where it said you need an alignment? Well NO the report does not show that on MY truck needs an alignment. The other one yes. He said what were the odds two sequoias came in at the same time? Umm because Toyota has only so many models? Idk. I'm teaching a new driver. She unfortunately has hit the curb a couple of times. The service woman basically used "fear" tactics to sell. I also asked for new windshield wipers. They are garbage. They squeak like crazy. So my husband told them I would be bringing them back for a refund. My final complaint is they are chauvinist. Let me clarify the sequoia is mine. Toyota likes to list the husband's name first. Okay fine. My husband drives the Highlander. NOT for me. I'm a truck girl all the way. Stop making assumptions about men and women.
