Steak and Eggs
Muriel T.

I ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns, and it was delicious. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the over-easy eggs had beautifully runny yolks. We also tried the corned beef hash, which was served on a hot cast-iron plate. It was decent--just didn't quite stand out for me, but still an enjoyable dish overall. Service is counter-order style: you place your order up front, grab a number, and sit wherever you like. The staff brings the food out to your table, and seating is open with no set rotation. The restaurant has a charming vintage décor with a cozy café-style diner vibe, though there isn't counter seating. Overall, it's a nice breakfast/brunch spot and a great place to stop on your way out of Fish Camp.

A hidden gem in Oakhurst! Very cute decor with plants and sewing machines. I went there on mother's day weekend for a late brunch and there was a long wait, almost an hour. So be prepared to wait. The service and the food made it worth the wait! I ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice for my drink. My omelette and potatoes were delicious!! Will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and everything tasted fresh. The service was amazing -- everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and had a great experience overall. Definitely recommend this place!

Great brunch spot if you are traveling to Yosemite. Their country fried steak was juicy and super flavorful. My wife loved their chicken and waffles, the sweet and savory combination made the meal nice and balanced. Our son had their corn beef hash, which was also good, would've been perfect with a pinch of salt less. The only thing we didn't like was their coffee. Their Toffe Nut Caramel Coffee was way too sweet, make sure you order it with 25% sugar!

Cute cafe with old school charm Had the almond danish Orange scone Bees breakfast burrito with bacon Order at the counter or at your table, for quick and efficient service. The pastry was good, fresh, and had the right amount of sweetness. The burrito was good, and I had it in Yosemite 2 hours later, still held up in form. It's not big enough for sharing if you're really hungry.

Charming little bakery / cafe in the Oakhurst area which acted as a timely pitstop as we made our way up to Yosemite from Orange County. Loved the cozy interior that gave the feel of a local mom and pop shop. Skip the fancy schmancy and instead focus on the nostalgia. Enjoyed perusing the old school typewriters, artwork, and knick knacks throughout. We ordered a couple breakfast items, coffee, and of course the infamous almond croissant. Portions are hefty and satiating, staff at the counter are friendly, and the almond croissant itself makes the visit worth it. Really enjoyed out drop-in and would recommend Bee's to others.

Wow so happy we found this gem! I live in the Bay Area and was visiting the area to see my bf. It was our first time here, so we weren't sure what to expect, but everything looked amazing the moment we walked in. We ordered the country-fried steak but didn't realize we were given the lunch version we were hoping for the breakfast one. We flagged down a staff member who was walking by, and she was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped to switch it out and brought us the fried chicken instead. Honestly, I'm so glad she did because OMG it was amazing. The gravy alone was chef's kiss. We also ordered the BLT sandwich, which comes on a croissant, and it was delicious. Great food and great customer service we left very happy. The next morning, we had planned to make eggs and bacon at home, but we couldn't stop talking about how much we enjoyed breakfast the day before, so we decided to go back again. This time, we both ordered iced vanilla lattes with oat milk so good. I finally got my country-fried steak with crispy tater tots, and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was also delicious. It has a very cute ambiance. Guy Fiery needs to come check out this place for sure! It gives me that vibe:) If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. We'll definitely be back!

We stopped to have brunch on our way to Yosemite and this spot was so cute! It looks like a thrift store on the inside with a lot of vintage items. It was a busy Sunday and they messed up on some of our plates but they were happily able to remake them but it took a while due to traffic. The average american meals were good but the avocado toast was not good if you're used to authentic sourdough bread and cheese, I would not recommend. I had the crispy chicken Sandwitch and I give it a 6/10 because I prefer my chicken to be more seasoned but it hit the spot. The service was nice.

Amazing experience! The staff was very friendly! The inside is spacious and beautiful. They have a great selection of pastries and breakfast food. The coffee was nice as well! We tried the lemon blueberry pastry and it was so flaky and delicious! I was nervous the coffee was going to be too sweet because I got the chocolate covered strawberry latte but it was the perfect balance! The croissant sandwich is a nice size and we found out the croissant is homemade! I'm so glad we stopped here before leaving town! Thank you!!

Cafe itself was cute. Spacious with high tables around the room, lounge couches and regular table. Chicken fried steak meal was very filling. Lemonade was delicious!

Bee's Bakery Café, Oakhurst: 2025 May 17 (4.75 of 5) Some eateries are known for their service, while others are known for their food. Bee's Bakery is a casual eatery that serves coffee, tea, pastries, and cook-to-order breakfast. The interior is cute and interesting, with antique sewing machines on display. In one cozy corner, you can relax with your coffee and a book. (5 of 5) Even the outdoor-sitting welcomes you with their beautifully tended-to flowers and arranged café seating. The setting sets the tone for a casual and relaxed atmosphere. It's rather informal - but, what fun it would be to dress up and feel like you're in a different country while hanging out and chatting with friends. (5 of 5) Service: Lilly A was our server that morning. Lilly has always been gracious and helpful. She's a joy to see when you visit Bee's Bakery. (5 of 5) Food: The food itself has its ups-and-downs. We find the pastries can be a tad dry but their cooked-to-order has always been good. (3-4.5 of 5)

Had a great burger with fries here. I tried the coleslaw but it was a bit too sweet for me. The strawberry lemonade was amazing. Really cute interior and a nice selection of lunch and breakfast options. My only complaint was that the wait time for food was a bit long (about 30 minutes) but it was a busy Memorial Day. Parking was easy to find in front of the building. Liked that they had indoor and outdoor seating. Would go back if I was in the area again.

They have a few gluten free items, which is awesome since most places in town do not. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Do they serve gluten-free waffles or pancakes? And will you be open on Veterans Day November 11?

One of my favorite chocolate lattes ever came from here…read more It had a light mouthfeel and wasn't too sweet, a well-balanced latte that was neither bitter nor too sweet. Super aromatic and tasted even better since you can see them pulling the espresso shot. My friend's lavender latte was delicious. First floral note giving away to an excellent latte. They know their stuff here. We loved the staff here. Very friendly and helpful, I loved complimenting the baristas on their craft and passing along the cheerfulness from the cashier who was very welcoming. They were very methodical and consistent with each drink, it seems. The shop was cute, with ample parking. The patio was busy-ish with people flocking in and out to pick up their orders once their name was called. I liked the combination of rustic and modern decorations, making for AN EXCELLENT stop before heading in or out of Yosemite. This coffee is worth going out of the way for since you will be leaving very happy after pleasant interactions and a deliiiiiicious coffee. 10/10!

They were too sweet, and the coffee flavor felt very light -- almost lost behind the milk and syrup. If you enjoy sweeter, milder drinks, this place might work for you. Sticks Coffee, Mariposa: 2026 May 19 (5 of 5)…read more Tucked behind tall shrubs along a short alleyway is a secret door to a little coffee shop. My observations alerted me to a communal yet cozy setting, with shared table and comfortable benches. This establishment feels magical to me. The floor is clean and the wooden tables and benches are inviting. I noticed that they have regular customers, as one after another, the customers were greeted by name with hugs and big smiles. Savanna (sic) greeted me and took my orders: small latte & ricotta + egg toast. My Ricotta + egg toast was delicious and the presentation was nicely done. The ingredients looked simple and the herbs tasted fresh and clean. The dish was perfectly seasoned. I tasted a little 'heat' at the back of my throat, but that's something I can handle. I even enjoyed the green sauce over the top. LOL! My order of latte was smooth and creamy. No sugar needed here. The creamy milk did its job. Savanna made my coffee after taking the order, and I complimented her on the delicious coffee. Would I go back? You betcha! And I'll bring my friends.
