It was a pleasure working with Jerry and he gave me a base price for removing two layers of shingles and inspecting what lay underneath. He also told me that the cost would be higher, and extra $1500, if there was a third layer. Indeed, there was a tar layer, as well as some rotted base layer plywood, so more $$. I also decided to add a cover for the gutters to minimize the need for cleaning. Each step I was given explanation of what was happening and an estimate of what the extra cost would be. At the end, the roof looked great and so far no water dripping anywhere! Thanks to Jerry and the guys who helped. Very polite and friendly.

We highly recommend Stevenson Roofing for both complex and more straightforward roofing projects…read more The company was recommended to us by a close friend who had an excellent experience, and after inviting two other firms to provide proposals, Stevenson was the clear choice based on its approach, timing and references. Our project was significant and complicated. We have a large roof with several steeply pitched areas, were transitioning from shake to CertainTeed Presidential TL shingles and also replaced the gutters. Jerry prepared the proposal and remained closely involved throughout the project, either on site or in touch with us daily. A project of this scale requires expertise, attention to detail and excellent communication, and we experienced all three. The work was completed on schedule and we are extremely pleased with the high quality result and process. Jerry has also stayed in touch following the first rains to make sure everything is performing as it should and that no refinements are needed. A new roof is a significant investment and requires a high degree of trust in the people doing the work. We were exceptionally pleased with Jerry and Stevenson Roofing and would recommend them without hesitation.

He met with my husband and me to discuss what our options were. He inspected the roof and the inside and gave us an informal estimate. He followed up with a formal estimate just a day later.  This was a big job removing a chimney, patching the roof, replacing subfloor, and building a new wall.   Once they were able to start, things moved very fast but surprisingly cleanly for this large brick structure being torn down. Also, Ben, one of the main crewmen on the project, was quick, clean, and very quiet. I had to keep my animals in the back of the house and was able to work out a system for potty breaks. Very helpful.   Once the removal was done, Yuri brought in the subcontractor, an amazing drywall guy, Vladimir, and his crewmember Alex. They did an amazing job paying the sheetrock, mudding, and painting. I cannot stress that enough. They also were quick, clean, and efficient and did not mind me asking too many questions about what was going on. I would recommend Royal Roofing to Friends, Family, and Strangers.

The first 3 told us we should replace our roof in the near future, varying from immediately to 1-2 years. We also received quotes on the repair alone which was $1500 for flashing replacement on average. Anthony took his time to evaluate the roof and the leak and recognized that the repair was much simpler, more of a handyman fix than something he needed to do. His evaluation of the roof highlighted the same things but he didn't play up the issues to drive an urgent need to replace. He actually recommended we wait and get a few more years out of it. Anthony was very thorough and explained everything. I shared with him details of the other quotes and he still didn't try to push us to buy now. I really respected the approach and felt taken care of. I'll definitely be calling Ranier Roofing in the future.

But despite the cost, I went with them because their proposal was clearly superior to the other companies'. It was detailed, with a clear explanation of all systems and materials recommended and transparent pricing information. It was also much easier to read and understand than the other bids. Our project was promptly scheduled. We had a desired window of time when we wanted it done and were accommodated. The actual install was about as painless as a major house improvement project can be. The team arrived on site on time, communicated proactively throughout the process, and left the property clean and tidy. The whole project only took 2.5 days. It started on a Monday and on Thursday I went through a comprehensive punch out process with the site manager. The new roof looks beautiful and my family has peace of mind going into the rainy season knowing that our roof is sound, and if we have any issues, Rainier will respond due to their strong craftsmanship and manufacturers warranties. I really couldn't have been happier with the process and outcome and highly recommend Rainier Roofing.

He is very knowledgeable and explained the difference between all of the options and warranties, so I felt comfortable making a decision to do an emergency fix with a vent replacement, knowing that we need to follow up with additional work soon. Tommy scheduled the vent replacement within hours, and by early afternoon, the job was completed and the leak was repaired!
