This is a great service. Had excellent customer service from Brian,who sets up the appointments, and handled setting up the app for service and payment. The mover who came to help me was Robert Gonzalez, he was super friendly, efficient, quick, very conscientious and an overall excellent guy. He was very careful with my belongings and very polite. He helped me empty my storage unit into a pod, took all the trash to the dumpster and finished in a timely manner. OMG! I have nothing but good comments to say about this online business. I must have called over 25 businesses to find a mover who could move an antique desk, Vintage hanging lamp& two boxes of goods. Most of these companies quoted in their advertisements that they accommodated people with small moves. Nope! Not one of these companies we're accommodating me. I just wanted to have this desk moved that belonged to my parents that are both deceased. I decided to google small moves & this online company showed up where I could download the app: BEE ON DEMAND Not only did the representative help me out, give me a discount, but he even drove to Oakland (Lake Merritt) location & got stuck on the Bay Bridge & then single handedly carried that desk up 3 stairs to my lower level apartment in San Francisco. I dealt with a gentleman by the name of Brian. He went way beyond customer service. If you want great prices, great service then download this app Bee On Demand. In this day & age it's difficult to find companies that go way out of their way to make people happy. If you do utilize this company tell them Karen referred you. You will be one happy camper! I LOVE this service! What a great idea to have help available on-demand without having to pre-schedule. Think of it as Lyft or Uber but with people who arrive to help you with work! I had to move some boxes and furniture out of my mom's apartment for her -- just under two hours work. I tried the different services available on Yelp, the U-Haul website, etc. But they all were upwards of $200 an hour for two people, most with a minimum of FOUR hours(!) -- and that was the ones who were available. Seems they needed more than three days advance notice to book on a Saturday. Unfortunately I didn't know about this job that far ahead of time and I certainly didn't want to spend $800. That's where Bee On Demand saved the day (and my bank account). First off, I didn't need three days advanced scheduling. The two "Helper Bees" (as they call them) arrived about 20 minutes after I requested them. Next was the price: One Helper Bee was only $65 for two hours! (price is as low $25 for one helper for 30 minutes). I requested two people so that was $130 -- a $670 savings! For me, Bee On Demand was PERFECT. In addition to all that, the Helper Bees are all vetted, verified via background checks. The app used for this process is well-designed and performed flawlessly. I requested the two helpers and got a text from them when they were 20 mins away. They arrived promptly on time and got right to work. When we were were finished they tapped "completed" on their end, I did the same on my app and that was it, transaction and work done. I can't say enough great things about this app/service. It's convenient and perfectly priced. In the past, I paid over $75 for a U-Haul pickup truck to transport a sofa (by myself) that I got on Craigslist. I noticed on the Bee On Demand app I can request one Helper Bee with a truck for just $50 for an hour! I wish I had this app then. I used this app to move a sofa. I had two men arrive. They were friendly but they said they were unable to move the couch down a flight a stairs because it's an electric plug in recliner couch. The workers arrived over an hour and a half late. And then they brought the couch back inside because they couldn't carry it down the stairs. We called the number on the app site and spoke with Brian. He refused to issue a refund and when we questioned why he said because it was an impossible task. Even though two men were able to bring it up the same stairs a year ago. When told we would rate on Yelp, he threatened with a law suit! So I couldn't come here any sooner to post this. Bee on Demand is a great idea, but only if it works. I needed help moving furniture down into the garage and assumed I would need two people for an hour so I put in 2 requests on Sunday. The company texted to confirm my address and called me to see how long I would need the help. They told me they'd check their schedules and let me know. I never heard from them again and no one showed up. As we were moving furniture I kept hoping I'd have helper bees, but this app/service failed miserably. read more

What a nightmare --- needed to move a counch 12 miles -- the 'office' had coordinated with me for a man and a van to come at 4PM. No show at 4:30. Called the coordinator. 'Man with the Van' called me said he was running late and would be there at 5:30. I STILL said I would wait. 6PM -- nothing. Finally found out about Lugg, and they were there in 25 minutes. Texted BOD coordinator that I couldn't believe he at least didn't offer me complimentary credit for the mess. What a way to run a business! Follow my advice. Use Lugg -- they are awesome. I would use them again: Needed help moving a couch that my wife purchased on a Sunday late afternoon. They found someone near by with a large van that could get to the location in 45mins. It was raining that day and he had a moving blanket to cover the couch to keep it dry. Overall great experience. read more

Great service. Used the App. and everything was cordinated. Man with a van showed up and helped me with the few itmes that I had to move.
