The worst experience we have ever had with a service professional. Lied, didn't do the work and then proceeded to take us to court where he lied some more. Luckily the judge didn't award him everything. If you look at my profile most of my reviews are 5 stars so I don't post these lightly. We trusted this person for months until something was off and when we brought another company to test our pool there was no chemicals in it and the equipment was not functioning like he said it would. We used Bee Clean for our rental for years, before we sold in 2020. It had a 25 year old plaster pool. Our tenants were always pleased with their service and the kept us (owners) informed too. I wish they serviced the area for our current home, so he could care for my current pool. I've hired many pool companies in the past. I consider Bee Clean as 1 of the best. He teaches classes for those that want to learn about pool water chemistry. If you don't understand the chemistry or don't think it's something you want to learn, I'd hire them. I contacted Bee Clean Pools to help me clear a cloudy pool and to do some plumbing work. On the website, it says to "call now or text" with their number. I texted the number, and got a rather curt response of "call me". I understand if you don't want to text people, but don't offer it as an option on your site. Casey came out at the scheduled time and date. We discussed the pool's chemistry and he added some chemicals to clear it up. He kept trying to sell me on the "pool school" and put some salesman style pressure on me. He seemed to actually take joy in telling me what I was doing wrong with my pool, and was somewhat rude. Basically if you don't want to buy his class, he won't be willing to help you. I brought up the plumbing work that I wanted done which is just some basic stuff around the pump, above ground. He was very hesitant to give me a quote or any information about what needed to be done. When I asked for a specific quote so I could compare costs with other services, he just said "it will be like $500 or so". He couldn't tell me what parts would be needed or an estimate of labor, just a ballpark of $500. He then asked me to dig up the ground all around the pump myself. I think he was trying to scare me out of it so he wouldn't have to do the job. He seemed very reluctant to do any physical work besides dumping chemicals into the water. About a day after he visited, with my pump running, my pool cleared up. But two days after that it went cloudy again and turned green. I bought a drop based test kit, read the directions, and cleared it up myself after about a week of treatment. It's been clear ever since. He never called back about doing the plumbing work. read more

I contacted Casey about maintaining the pool in my rental home. My property management company pays for a weekly pool service, but Casey uncovered many problem including leaks in the equipment, broken pop-ups, and a cut water leveler. Casey was also adament that I do not spend any of my own pool in maintaining it since it was the property mgt companies responsibility. The net is that the property mgt company is fixing all the problems I found with Casey's help! Casey is honest - he won't try to upsell you - his goal is to provide honest service and a great customer experience. I contacted Casey about cleaning the pool in my newly purchased house. I'm a first time home owner and pool owner. Casey's prices were slightly higher than some other companies I found, but after speaking with Casey, I knew is was the company to go with. Casey is awesome! I'm a "Pool School" customer and couldn't be more satisfied. He makes everything easy and teaches you simple tricks to save time. I decided to go this route because I've never had a pool service that did a decent job. After spending a few hours with Casey, I see why. There's more to keeping your water chemistry perfect than just throwing in a few chlorine tabs and pouring in some muriatic acid - not to mention the high prices pool services typically charge for chemicals. Now I'll be able to keep my pool water clear and clean using far less chlorine and other chemicals than pool services use (remember, those services don't mind using more than you need because it's a money maker for them). Taking care of my own pool (the right way!) only takes about 15 minutes a week and saves well over a thousand dollars a year! Casey is the best pool guy around!!! He's trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable, reliable, and clearly knows what he is doing with pools. We recently completely remodeled our pool and after only 4 months were having issues with staining on the pool interior. The pool company who remodeled our pool stated a completed drain and acid wash of the pool was the only solution and we would pay the cost. Completely frustrated that I was going to have to pay more money to this pool company on a pool this new I decided to go to yelp for help.. And I was not let down. Casey came the day I called and agreed the pool would indeed have to be drained but did not recommend an acid wash on such a new interior. He was very detailed and explained everything that needed to be done. The pool has since been drained and refilled and already (in less than a week) shows signs of the staining disappearing. I bought my house 1 1/2 years ago and never had a pool before. I had been to several pool stores to sample water and buy chemicals. I have had issues from day one with my pool being cloudy(hazy) and having an algae issue and the pool stores would tell me my water was perfect. When I would show them pictures of the water, they would have me buy different chemicals and try them with nothing ever really working. I had to drain my pool and start over and started to get the algae issue within a couple of weeks, so I finally I got frustrated and found Bee Clean Pools online and called Casey. He came over the next day and cleared my pool up in one day and I haven't had any issues so far. I took his pool school and he taught me how to test my own water, how the pool equipment ran and how to take care of the pool myself. I text him my test results and he will text back what to add to the pool weekly as that is part of his service after pool school. I also get better chemicals then you can from a pool store and at a discounted price. I really recommend Casey and Bee Clean Pools as he is a very nice guy, very knowledgeable and easy to work with and responds in a timely manner. read more

My husband and I moved into a new home and wanted a quick lesson on our new pool equipment. We saw the great reviews of Bee Clean Pools and decided to sign up for "pool school", which is an a 3-4 hour class at your home on how to properly maintain your chemicals. The owner states you get free text support for the following two years to help balance your chemicals each week. The class was informative, and we learned some new things about taking care of our pool. Throughout the class, the owner was extremely cocky, stating he won the "Pool man of the Year" award, but at the same time, we felt he was always holding back a little information in order to keep us as a customer. At the end of the class, the owner compiled a list of everything we need to "properly maintain" our pool. HOLY CRAP - if we agreed, the bill would have been over $500 (which included pool school)!!!!!! He did state that a few things we could probably find cheaper at B & L Pool Supply, but he made up for that because he delivers. We told him we needed to think about it, and went to check out B & L. Well ,we found everything on the list for under $150 at B & L Pools. When we told the owner, I think he was surprised that we comparison shopped, and said a sly comment like, "Well, I guess I won't be telling other customers about B & L". We initially texted him our chemicals each week, to help balance the pool, but once we got the hang out of it, we didn't feel like we needed to text him for advice all the time. Recently, we have attempted to occasionally text for advice, but twice we haven't heard back from him. Apparently, if you don't text often enough for support, you don't get the two years of support. Overall, he was informative, but I think there is a cheaper pool school out there (we paid $150). Plus, we just got that used car salesman vibe every time we interacted with him...he always seemed to be trying to sell us something. read more
