Being a B-Corporation I assumed they could give me tips or tricks. They told me I was completely out of luck. The CEO, Bruce Champeau, emailed me directly and told me they don't offer "repair kits" and I shouldn't expect to get a refund of replacement. I was really offended by this. I wasn't asking for a refund if replacement. If I'm spending close to $1,500 dollars on a 61" outdoor loveseat it should last more than just a few years and if they really stood behind the quality of their product they should be able to offer solutions to prolong the life of the product. I feel their poor commitment to quality and even worse behavior by their customer service and CEO will warrant me never returning to this brand in any capacity ever again. The moment I stepped onto the showroom floor, I was instantly mesmerized. They had an awesome sale going, and I ended up spending approximately 14 hours shopping over two days! My salesperson, Andra, was super patient and extremely accommodating. In the end, I gleefully purchased 15 superb pieces of furniture, which they delivered to Wisconsin for a reasonable extra fee. The delivery and setup by Brandon and Guillermo were absolutely perfect. I originally went back to Dania because I never forgot my first experience there. Back in 2008, I was living in Oak Park, IL, had just sold my house, and wanted new furniture. A friend spoke very highly of them, so off I went. Their customer service was excellent, and the furniture was high-quality and reasonably priced. To make matters even better, their delivery and setup were awesome. I was so pleased that I never forgot the experience--in fact, I still have the bedroom set and bookcases I purchased back then! Fast-forward to August 2026: now living in Wisconsin, I recently purchased a condo and needed a dining room table and chairs. I looked locally, but all I could think about was Dania. After several years of cohabitation some items gifted to us from Crate and Barrel broke due to our own clumsiness. That being said we had to replace a few things. Thankfully our collection of tableware is still in production so occasionally I come to the Old Orchard location to pick up what's in stock. The staff are always helpful and so far I've never had a bad experience. I love Crate and Barrel and will continue to shop here for their quality products, fine design and courteous customer service.

Updating my review…read more 1. The store management finally responded after I threatened to file a small claim against them after 8 emails. 2. Their fix is to process a return, take everything back, and do a new order for the bed and have us wait an extra 3 months. 3. For the inconvenience, they determined that a 10% refund was all they were willing to do for their mess up leading to us sleeping on the ground for 5 months total. That's $270. That barely even covers the cost of the Uhaul we had to get to go pick up the bed from the Naperville warehouse. 4. Customer service was unbelievably rude (I was nice because they didn't personally cause the problem) and repeatedly said I had to deal with store management before they would deal with us. See comment 1. Crate and Barrel has beautiful furniture. Their logistics and customer service are the worst of any furniture company I have ever dealt with. Skip them. It's not worth it at all. Will never be purchasing from CB again.

I contacted Luminaire looking for lighting. I had a couple options in mind. The first involved…read morelamps that, while mass produced, still have unpredictable variations that are unique to each individual piece. Because of this and the fact that I needed 3 lamps in total, I wanted to see the exact pieces that I would be purchasing before committing - or, at least, photos. I asked Luminaire if this was possible. I did not demand this; I was prepared with a second option if this could not be done but Luminaire agreed to work with me and so I agreed to work with them. What a mistake. I primarily worked with Alexander Petrick. He seemed to understand the ask and to be helpful but, in reality, came up short on every promise that he made. Without going into too much detail, they were bringing the lamps into the showroom for viewing, then they weren't, then they were again, then they weren't, then I needed to purchase them first which I did, then they still didn't get sent for more than a week. In the end, six weeks later, there were only 2 of the 3 lamps in the showroom despite the fact that they had 10 in their warehouse. At this point I wrote off the transaction and Luminaire as a lost cause. I don't understand how so many things could go wrong and so many promises go unfulfilled for so long. It seems deliberate but that is crazy which only leaves gross incompetence and terrible communication. I am not sure which is the lesser of two evils but it hardly matters since neither is acceptable. I require a higher standard in my engagements To add insult to injury, on my final trip to the showroom, I dealt with Delia Ridenour. She appeared to take a perverse pleasure in informing me that my order was incomplete and would not be fulfilled at the time - a fact that she knew, but didn't disclose, the previous day after we spoke on the telephone about my upcoming visit to collect the pieces. She seemed so filled with ill will that I cannot imagine her being of service to any client. Overall, my advice is to avoid Luminaire. Most everything that they carry is available through other vendors, many of whom also offer reliability, transparency and integrity. The one thing that they did do right is refund my payment reasonably quickly. My guess is that this was due only to the fact that I had obtained an email stating that I had the option of return/refund at any point in the process (I could see the writing on the wall by that time). If you must work with Luminaire, I suggest getting everything in print; trusting their word would, in my opinion, be inadvisable.

They don't carry them in the store, and the salesman offered to order it for me. However, the delivery dates that were showing for him were way later than the self-order delivery dates online. I'm on a time crunch because I wanted to get rid of my box springs and upgrade to a platform bed before I have my bedroom flooring redone later this week so that I can free up space and make that easier (and reduce the risk of damaging the new floors with extra moving of large items back and forth). The salesman suggested I order online if I needed the frame sooner, and was very low-pressure. He didn't try to convince me to get one that they have in store or anything else. I ended up ordering on the Mattress Firm website on my phone from the parking lot and it'll be delivered tomorrow :) They looked like they had a nice selection and the store was clean and organized. I'd go back to look at mattresses if/when I need a new one. But it is a little weird that the delivery dates are later for in-store orders than online self-orders.

Hillary (and team) were exceptional when it came to designing my custom shoe closet! In the master…read moresuite, I have four large closets adjacent to one another, two in one hall. I was hoping to designate this end hall (closer to the entry of suite) to a shoe closet, and Hillary helped me properly select and design the space. The two closets we considered are similar in size, but one is slightly wider. We went back and forth between these two closets, seeing how/where we could maximize the shoe capacity. We also debated between the Senzafine and the Ubek systems, and found out the Senzafine worked better in either of these two closets. After some time of playing with different ideas, we chose the slightly smaller closet and the Senzafine Night Walk-in System with inclined shoe shelves. The shoe shelves design has the option of LED lighting per shelf. With our final design, we managed to create a space that would accommodate nearly 80 pairs of shoes in one closet. I was so thrilled. The shoe closet and install is a 5month process (not including August/December). I am looking forward to the install in November-ish! Next, we are designing my son's large closet for clothes, shoes, and misc.; and, two guest bedroom closets. HIGHLY recommend Hillary and crew from Poliform!
