One of my favorite places to buy gifts or get inspired to make something. They carry already made glass fused items, recycled cups made out of beer bottles, coasters, their famous glass hearts made from recycled glass. Also a variety of tumbled sea glass and glass tiles that can be used for kitchen back splash or restroom remodels. I couldn't resist picking up this koi plant stack at their black Friday sale . Used to be near the Magnolia bridge but can be found under the Ballard Bridge.

We went into Bedrock Industries because we wanted to utilize their earth-friendly recycled glass tile for our bathroom remodel. This was WAY better than paying for some pre-made tile pattern. Maria helped us lay out something creative and bright with a variety of colors. The result is stunning! We love that we have something entirely unique and we got to create the pattern. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I can't recommend them enough.

Bedrock totally rocks!!! I have waited 10 years for a good reason to buy 7 pounds of beautiful beach glass that the owner has lovingly created. It was worth the wait - the hardest part was deciding because there are so many beautiful materials to consider. If you love glass, especially beach glass, you will love Bedrock industries. Just drive very slowly and turn left before you cross the RR tracks and you'll find it in the very back of the complex. Here are pictures of my landscape project, I built a path for my dog and sprinkled it with beach glass.

We love this place and will definitely be back! We stumbled upon this place from looking at Yelp reviews. My son loves tumbling glass so we came here get some glass. They have a good selection of glass and I love the fact that everything is 100% recycled and would've otherwise been in the landfill. They also have some cool stuff that could be used as party favors too!

this place is so cool. i first saw it on an hgtv show, and had to stop by while in seattle. they have some of the most beautiful tile and handmade artwork made from recycled glass. my hubby and i are always working on a project, and if the glass tile was affordable, we would definitely be sending some home. unfortunately, the tiles that i fell in love with were pretty pricey. so we opt for buying some handmade artwork, two robots holding hands made of glass. we also get a girlie robot to take home to mom-in-law. and i couldn't resist picking up a few decorative glass balls that had amazing colors. wish there was a place like this near my hood.

Bedrock is a hidden gem in Seattle. Staff are friendly and helpful and give excellent advice if you are working on a project or wish to have a special piece made by their artists. I often bring out-of-town guests here for a visit as there is always something new to admire...it's like a mini museum of rock and glass, plus their "found items" that come and go are worth returning for often to see what new treasure is available.

Planning the fireplace surround, measuring twice. Picking colors and tiles.

The challenge was to create a traditional looking craftsman fireplace for a remodel of a 1923 seattle home. But bring in the beauty and glow of glass tiles! We worked closely together on the design. It was so much fun picking out the tiles at bedrock. Vanessa went out of her way to make sure I had the small tiles I needed, even volunteering to come in early the next day to make some if I couldn't find what I needed. The Fireplace came out beautifully!

Luckily they're extremely friendly and I was able to get all my questions answered from the variety of coffee related products to comparing the soda stream options. Especially with this year and the holiday season approaching, I highly recommend checking out Culinary Essentials for any dining related gifts or kitchen upgrades as the personal attention is so valuable and to support local businesses!

A delight for anyone who enjoys cooking. We spotted several items that would be great gifts... After talking with the very nice owners, I decided to buy my son (who lives in Ballard) some Christmas presents. We presented them with the problem that we would be returning to southern California, where my son will join us for Christmas. It didn't make sense to fly stuff down that he would then have to fly home. They suggested that I could buy the presents, I could give my son a card and the gift receipt, and he could collect the present when he came home. Genius! The owners put my gifts into a gift bag, topped it with crumpled purple tissue paper, and put it into the back to await my son's return.

There was something about Terence when I first met him that I really liked. I kept his business card. I ended cancelling my order with my cabinet maker and set up an appointment with Terence. I really liked the style of cabinets he was offering and really connected with him. I found Terence to be very hard working and honest. He really wanted to help me achieve the modern look I was aiming for. We connected and developed a great working relationship! I had quite a job for him, a kitchen, walk in pantry and 3 bathrooms that all needed cabinets. He was attentive to details and very responsive with communications in his emails and texts. Terence has so many years of experience behind him. He is so good in trouble shooting areas that might need a little help. He is also very hands on and did some of the install himself. He inspected every single cabinet and adjusted them where it was needed. Terence has a great attitude, happy and so easy to get along with. I really enjoyed working with Terence. I trusted his insight and judgement. I even would ask him for his opinion on decorating my home and he was so helpful with his design tips. I highly recommend Luna Kitchens and Bath if you are seeking a beautiful kitchen/bath outcome!

A bit of background on our project: Beau dragged our kitchen from the 70s - no range vent, Formica countertops that buckled with the slightest pressure, cupboard doors that didn't fully close, to name a few issues - into the modern era.  This was a complete demolition, down to the studs, and rebuild.  Along the way, he removed an old chimney that ran from our basement, through the first floor, and into the attic; upgraded our hot water heater, and most of our old, galvanized plumbing; updated our electrical panel and removed a lot of knob-and-tube wiring; and widened our back door.  He had a clear understanding of what he could and could not do, and, for the latter, he had subcontractors lined up and ready to do the work.  Beau, his crew, and the subcontractors I interacted with, were all extremely pleasant, polite, helpful, and fun.  They were very nice to (and tolerant of) our pets, and did everything they could to make the process as unintrusive as possible.  They went above and beyond in so many ways, it's impossible to remember them all.  At the end of the project, the work was done as expected, was top-notch, and as much as we were glad to have the kitchen back, it was sad to see them go.
