We were TOTAL newbies and had no knowledge of what renovations would take or where to start with picking out supplies. After visiting a number of places in Flushing (and trying to squeeze details and guidance from surly sales associates), Josh was a friendly breath of sunshine! He walked us around the showroom, explained differences in tile and cabinet qualities, and was very helpful with this recommendations and big no no's to watch out for. After they measured our place, they quickly sent estimates and nice 3D renderings of my husband's dream kitchen. They worked with our contractor seamlessly and our beautiful kitchen was born! Many customers paid large deposits, had their kitchens gutted, and are now classified as unsecured debt. They will likely receive nothing. People are out $10k-$20k+ with destroyed kitchens and no recourse. This is unforgivable. My kitchen was completed, but even I wasn't spared - my "lifetime warranty" is now worthless. And compared to the people left with half‑demolished homes, my loss is minor. This is a pathetic, disgraceful way to end operations: shutting down overnight, running away from obligations, and leaving customers and employees to suffer massive consequences. Even Spirit Airlines - a company famous for its issues - treated me with more integrity. When they wronged me, they refunded me. Wren did not. The CEO keeps the money while customers lose everything. Disgusting. Deplorable. Unforgivable.

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

This time I had the chance to work with Elsa and I was blown away by the level of expertise. Just some simple measurements and she was able to build out my entire kitchen without ever stepping foot into it. She knew how to layout a kitchen with her eyes closed and knew exactly the problems I had without even asking. She nailed every measurement and design and when it came time to actually measuring our my space, barely anything changed. She is that good. They worked with me and my contractor every step of the way. He was extremely patient with us as we made changes to his original plan. I was a bit nervous when he quoted the price. I liked the price but I was concerned about the quality at that price point. The quality exceeded our expectations and we have received tons of compliments on the cabinet and countertop design and finish and the layout. We also had a bar installed in place of our Thomasville cherry china cabinet. Jay also helped us pick out the best countertops for these applications. But the question is, who will install the faucets if we wait for them to install it because our contractors will be long gone?! But when Saturday rolled around they said they're too busy on Monday and it could be delivered within the hour that same day (Saturday) and that they would need my husband's help to unload the pickup truck. The vanity top was not wrapped and there was a small imperfection but it's not big deal. Overall I'd absolutely come back again in the future and will continue to recommend this business to others.
