The employees here need to be informed about the policies for placing online orders IN STORE. I called ahead to ask if they waive the shipping charge if I placed an order IN STORE (rather than at home) and the lady that picked up the phone said yes. She confirmed with me that if I placed the order at home, I would have to pay for shipping and that if I came to the store, it would be FREE. So I ended up driving to the store to place the order. Then after she placed the order, I noticed on the receipt that I was charged for shipping! So I mention to her about it and she said I had to spend over $29 to get free shipping.. I told her that the lady on the phone told me different. And she repeated that I had to spend $29 to get free shipping.. Well I'm sorry your employees were misinformed and told customers otherwise. I would suggest management to train and inform their employees the policy and rules about placing orders online. Instead of them giving misinformed information. I could've saved gas and time by placing the order at home if I had to pay for shipping anyways.. The lady ended up refunding me the shipping charge. read more

Wrong, unfortunately, the Limonite store didn't give me my receipt not to mention the customer service was horrendous.. they claimed my gift card was no good only to find out that it was so the goods that I ended up paying for and the ones I could've bought with the gift card. I have it all so now I still have the gift card and all the items that (I'll probably never use) and the gift card. The Limonite store claimed was no good. Turns out the Limonite store was incorrect. She literally had a ziplock bag full of coupons ( probably stolen mail ) on the counter & the associate rung up her merchandise using all coupons. My Daughter & I watched it all happen. I bought a comforter and it fell apart after only 2 washes despite following all washing instructions. I contacted BB&B and their representatives Ariane M. and Charles C. admitted their product was sub par and refused to refund my money in any way. Normally I wouldn't take offense at what might be an honest mistake during manufacturing but when their own people admit the product was inferior and then refuse to make it right by giving back the money that was paid for a quality product that fell apart; well, at that point let's be clear, it's not out of the question to ask is BB&B a scam at this point. They went bankrupt and are now selling items that fall apart after only 2 washes and then refuse to give the money back or send a replacement item that is up to quality. I leave it up to you to decide. But my advice is to not repeat my mistakes. Don't buy from this so called company. When I went to pick up, the lady at store pick up tells me to go line up in the regular check out line. If I wanted to wait in line with others at checkout, I would have just purchased in store and not order online. Back story: I used to work for Starbucks and bought the verismo brewing system from them. The stores stopped carrying the verismo pods in the Starbucks retail locations and exclusively sell them to bed bath and beyond and some grocery retail stores. Being a previous Starbucks Employee i factually know this. I stepped into the store after going online and seeing they had a stock of the verismo espresso pods at this location. So I walk in, go to the pods section and notice they only have the milk pods (im vegan so I don't do dairy) and a few of the brewed coffee pods. So I find an employee, a blonde younger lady... and politely say "Hi, I was wondering if you could check the back of stock any verismo espresso pods " she replies "those have been discontinued" so matter of fact..... and then I try to explain and she cuts me off and says "we don't have those here anymore" ..... at this point I know she's not going to help me, and she's not going to check the back, and I really didn't feel like explaining or begging her to do the minimum of her job for me, shit if I had access to the back I would have checked myself. So I tell her "they aren't discontinued in fact if you turn around you have an entire selection of them, you just don't have the espresso pods out and there might be some in the back but you don't want to check for me so you know what never mind ". I drive all the way to wildomar and the nice lady at that location checks the back for me comes out with an entire box brand new and I buy all the pods she had. I really wish I didn't have to drive a few cities over just to get the item I want. I haven't been back to this location since. read more

They not only answered my phone call but answered my prayers ! They didn't have the exact model I wanted at the Tyler location but the super nice lady was soooo helpful! She checked around the other locations and found me what I wanted ALL IN RUSH HOUR JUST DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS! She was helping several of us simultaneously and I can't say enough ! I ordered for curbside pickup, it was suppose to be "2" business hours. Drove down after 3 hours and was told they didn't have anything in there system and that it was on my end.. (mind you I already paid and was awaiting a "pick up" confirmation). 24 hours later I reached out to corporate and they said my order was ready. I never got an email notification from the store. I called the store and they said they were going to check. The worker put the phone down on the table and I could here him talking to another co-worker not seeming to be looking up my order. Then I here the phone get picked up and I was hung up on. I called back and the worker said "whoops sorry about that.." judging by all the other reviews the people who run this location are a joke. Parking was easy bec there aren't really any stores in this particular area. Entering there was a friendly young girl and she literally directed me right to the item :-) . Didn't get her name but great job. At the counterfront there were NO REGISTERS OPEN. The friendly girl was at customer service by herself with both her registers having customers. She called for help. Of coarse, this is the time when every customer comes to the front to check out and so it ends up being a mosh pit of people with no rhyme or reason as to who is in-line first, etc. Another woman comes upfront to help a return then they call for back up. A woman says she'll take the next in line but everyone stands around like who's next haha so I say,"Well, I'll go" and I laugh telling this woman that it's a mash up and no one knows who's first so here I am hahaha" this woman rudely says, "the registers are numbered". I reiterate what I said to ensure she heard right and she gives me a dirty look. This woman either hates her job and does not belong in customer servicing jobs or is having a bad day so I try to get her to smile with a smile, but she is NOT having it. As putting down my items I notice about 2 1/2" -3" mark on one that I think might be a crack bec I do not have my glasses on so I tell her I'll get another one afterwards. She tells me to go get it with my cc in and purse and items spread out and a line. I wait for my cc to process to finish and tell her I will. She is not satisfied with that and calls for someone to get me one. She hands me my items and looks to the next customer. I say,"Excuse me, what's your name?" She flips her name tag over and says,"Gina". I say thank you then she says, "thank you. Have a good day!" all friendly bec I asked for her name. Gina you need to leave the ugliness at home as hard as it can be sometimes and put on your customer service face ;-) This place would have gotten 5 stars, but Gina blew that. read more

Bed Bath & Beyond is one of those places where you spend buckets of money on things you think you need. Kind of like Costco ;) The store is ALWAYS clean and smells like soaps and seasonal aromas. I've bought my bed spread, favorite makeup mirror, desk lamp, nutribullet, and most of my brother's dorm decorations and necessities here. It's frickin awesome. Bought a humidifier( $49.99)from BBB at moreno valley, they were able to price match walmart at 29.99. The humidifier stop working 2 weeks later so i go back to exchange but they don't have it in stock. So i went to the BBB at tyler, they have stock but refuse to let me exchange the same item at the same price shown on my receipt, cashier told me will have to do price match again if i want the same price as dated on the receipt, i pull out my cell phone do another search, the walmart price is even cheaper now at $25! Then there was another cashier (a senior or manager) stand nearby said "oh we don't price match return exchange". So i told then nevermind then i don't want it, just return, so they issue me a store credit. If i want it badly enough i can just buy it again and price match as regular puchase. Or i can just buy from walmart free ship to store. I like to shop at BBB but sometime their price is so high that even their 20% off is not worth it. So have you ever gone into a BB&B? Ever notice how there's super long lines, innane customer service, and otherwise all the things that would make a person hate shopping there? I've been here on several occasions, and have never EVER had to wait more then a minute to check out. I know this place gets customers, but damn if I ever see 'em, Or have to wait for them. Outside of that, it's your typical Bed Bath. Cooking gadgets, high thread count sheets, pillows, bedding, bath stuff, "As Seen On TV" gadgets and the like. I come where when I have the need for instant gratification, and am willing to trade the 5-15% I'd save via Overstock or Amazon. The people are nice, the Security guy always greets me, and all in all, I always have a very pleasant shopping experience. What, you wanted more from a review of a big box store? Solely on this visit i must give 5 stars! I came into this location to possibly purchasing yet another Kueirg, coffee machine. Last Christmas i purchased Kueirg's , so called top of line and of course they made another model that's newer & better model in less than a year later. Buying these coffee machines is more stressful than buying a car! Haha I was very lucky to get a lot of information from Mike , the manager. He had all the answers and more importantly his honesty was delightful & enlightening. I appreciated his time and patience because i was popping off questions faster, than a popcorn machine. The stores inventory is exactly the same as others, but Mike , really made me feel as though my concerns were valid. Isn't that what we the customer want?! I shop here like once or twice a year, the store is always clean and there are always associates available to help. My favorite section is the clearance area! On my last visit, I walked in pushing a cart and carrying a sleeping toddler on my shoulder, I wasn't struggling to get around or anything, but an employee approached me and quietly asked if I needed help shopping while my little one was asleep. I was shocked at first, her offer was so simple but shows amazing customer service and that never ever happens anymore in stores!! I have been shopping for a bathmat for my daughters bathtub for several weeks now and can't find anything for "textured" tubs. I first tried Amazon, purchased 3 separate items, none of which worked & returned them all. Next I tried Target, purchased 2 different ones and again none of them worked. So, I decide to look up Bed Bath & Beyond of which I saw several online that said they were for textured tubs. Great. So I call the local retail store here on Tyler & a woman picks up, she listens to me ask if they sold any bath mats that are for textured tubs of which she asks me to hold. A few seconds later a different woman picks up & I again explain what I am looking for. Her response with a monotone voice is, "what do you mean?" Ok I try explaining it a 2nd time. This time she tells me, "We don't make those." I remind her that their online website says that they actually DO sell them & I wanted to know if this location did as well. She puts me on hold and a minute later asks me to give her some of the "names" of the brands I see on their website. Mind you, I'm in the middle of trying to dress my 10 month old & wasn't prepared to tell the representative what brands the company she works for, sells (insert sarcasm HERE). I take a deep breath & tell her, "sure, let me pull up the app on my phone while I dress my baby." After giving her names she says they do sell them. Great. I drive down to the store only to find that they sell about 4 bath mats for the tub yet NONE of them are for textured tubs. Ok now I'm a pretty patient shopper after working retail myself for 18 years as a Store Manager & running both a dental office & an optical office. I have had my share of grumpy patients & customers. But today, the lack of knowledge from this employee really made me say Wow. Several retail associates today saw me shopping, never stopped to ask how I was doing or if I needed help with anything. I get to the checkout & the woman was friendly and asked if I found everything ok of which I said I did not. Again, another opportunity to assist my needs yet she does not. Frustrated sigh. I ended up purchasing individual peel & stick strips that say they work on textured tubs. I also purchased an additional item for my husbands birthday this week. Honestly, had anyone even offered assistance even AFTER I was told incorrect information over the one & still couldn't locate the item I needed, it would have been ok because at least they offered their assistance. I usually shop at the BuyBuyBaby in Redlands which is where I will go back to. Their team is phenomenal even when busy. Same with the Rancho Cucamonga team. If you are looking for customer service from the team at this location I highly encourage you to think twice before you consider spending your money. read more

We got a set of clearance chairs and a table and she told us to go get another table since the tag wasn't on there even though it isn't really our job. I would give this store a five star on any other day. I just got married and registered here for all my stuff. All my family spent a lot of money here. All my home products are from here. Went in today to add to my home collection for a men's valet for my husbands suits. I asked "Gina" for help as I didn't see it on the shelves but know it is available online. She proceeded to tell me she was going to go in the back to look for it as they might have it in the back. I waited 30 min for her. She never returned. I went walking to find someone to see what happened. Then to find Gina helping someone else. When I approached her she said "o. Your the one who was looking for that thing. We don't have it" she turned her back on me and was going to help someone else. When I asked her why she didn't come tell me she just said "well I was off at 3 anyway" she rolled her eyes and walked away.
