The owner of this establishment is very welcoming and friendly! We brought our two rugs in to get cleaned and one to get fixed. My dog chewed on one side of the rug making it uneven and unappealing. The owner was able to have someone fix it and make it look brand new. He also showed up many different sizes of rugs that he has to offer. We do plan on going back to purchase a rug for our bedroom. Hand cleaning these rugs was not inexpensive but the results were impressive with good turnaround. Some needed some repair at the edge which he discouraged me from having done due to the labor expense. There was no additional raveling as a result of the cleaning. I don't know what the owner is talking about. I still have the two rugs that I was forced to buy and never received any kind of refund or had anyone reach out to me to fix the problem. He's trying to clean up his comments but please be assured that I have never been contacted and nothing fixed. I still have the rugs in question that have been in a closet for the last five years and the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. If they would like to refund me the $3000 for the rugs then I would gladly take down this review. I still have the receipt and all other paperwork for when I tried to fight the charge. read more

I read the reviews of Rustam, unfortunately it was after I had contacted him about cleaning my rugs. If I would have read the reviews, I never would have contacted him. You were so correct, he is overpriced and shady. He told me that no work would begin on my rugs until I gave my final approval. When I called back to tell him that I didn't want the rugs cleaned just yet. He stated that they had already started the work. When I refused to pay, he showed up at my front door banging on it demanding to be paid. I had to call the police to get him to leave. He should not be doing business at all! read more

my carpet was purchased in turkey at least 15 years ago when we traveled there. the carpet has remained as beautiful as the day we purchased it, but the fringe kept coming off, for whatever reason. so we had it bound on the two edges and professionally cleaned at rustam rug gallery. it came out looking new. love it!!! thank you rustam. my only concern was the price. very expensive! so my advice is to take care of your persian, oriental, turkish carpet, as it is a major investment. read more
