Meant to add my review a few days ago. I needed a cleaning ASAP and sent JCCS a message and they responded right away. Came the next day and met Mike. Mike asked what areas needed cleaning, which i pointed out and he noticed some fraying areas on the edges of my carpet and gave me some professional advice which i very much appreciated. I needed my couches cleaned and he checked them out and gave me some tips about the care of my couches and that he would be very careful cleaning but also wanted to confirm I wanted him to still clean which i said yes. Chris is a real nice guy, he showed up and was ready to work. We have three bedrooms, a hall and a stair case and he was done in under two hours and the carpet looks and smell great. I moved into a condo which the carpet needed serious cleaning because the previous owners had cats, so based on the reviews I called Johnson's carpet cleaning. I didn't have power on yet so the guy said he couldn't vacuum the hairs off. Ok for me, I just needed the stains and urine smell off. Once he was done stains were still visible on the high traffic area near the kitchen and several spots in the living room. Mind you, he charged me an extra $10 a room for these stains. Since it was my first time getting carpet cleaned, I thought the carpet was just that bad and that was the best he could do. Nevertheless the stains were an eye sore and I couldn't stand the urine smell so two days later, I called another company, Pinks. They removed all stains, including some paint in the living room which the Johnsons guy said he couldn't, and got rid of the urine smell. I told the Pinks guy that was my second cleaning in two days and his jaw dropped. He said I got ripped off. I tried calling Johnson's for a refund, they said they'll get back to me and no one ever did. I'm planning on going to small court claims because this is unacceptable. I'm not a carpet expert but vacuuming has very little to do with stain removal especially if you charge extra claiming you'll remove them. read more
