The worst place to buy anything. Slow, erratic shipping and horrible customer service. Stay away from these iceholes!

Bed, bath and beyond does not even deserve one star. BUYER BEWARE, SHOP ANYWHERE BUT BBB ON LINE. THEY ARE CROOKS AND DISHONEST. Based on the photo on line of the small rug NOVOGRATZ BY JEMI STELLA-HANDWOVEN, FLATWEAVE RUG, I placed an order for this item. The picture shows a blue field with yellow pattern. I had to pay for shipping since the order did not qualify for free shipping, and I was fine doing that. When I got the rug, it was so poorly made that the blue threads were at half strength, they equaled about 10 stitches per inch, (when it should have been 100 stitches per inch) meaning the ugly white backing showed thru on the face of the rug, making it appear blue and white polka dot. I called to let them know the rug was defective and was not woven to a standard that the average person would accept. The unhelpful person in customer service told me "it was a case of buyer's remorse, or my just not liking what I ordered." I could not get the obtuse woman to understand there is a HUGE difference between defective and buyer's remorse. She said the charge for BBB to prepare a label for return would be $25.00, maybe it was the language barrier (so common with these low rate companies) or the woman named SIB was just playing dumb. Needless, to say, I paid $10.25 to usps to return the garbage and then had to fight with them to get my refund. They had the rug for more than a week and did not refund any amount until I called again to complain. Then they only refunded the price of the rug and not the original shipping cost. I had to dispute it with my cc company to get the original shipping cost back for the defective item. BE WARE BED BATH AND BEYOND WILL CHEAT YOU, WILL SHIP INFERIOR LOW QUALITY, DEFECTIVE GARBAGE AND MAKE YOU PAY TO RETURN IT. DO BUSINESS ANYWHERE BUT WITH BBB, THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE IN BANKRUPTCY. THEY HAVE NO SCRUPLES AND SHOULD BE BANNED FROM DOING BUSINESS IN THE US. read more

I am hoping they will have a YASS 26 oz mug because the stupid kitten I adopted knocked it off the counter. It has a lid that goes with it and so I am praying that they have one when I go there today. Edit: I did find out what I was looking for and the guy knew exactly what the item was. I broke my Cappuccino cup. Probably not a big deal to those not versed in drinking the divine brew. I thought BB&B might have one, and they did, on sale and 20% off with my coupon. I always favored the Nicholasville Road location and frequently shopped there. They had a great Harmon Drugstore and a gourmet food section. Unfortunately, the store closed, leaving Lexington with only the Hamburg location. It's an OK BB&B, but doesn't measure up to the now closed store. BUT I did find a new Cappuchino cup! 82 read more

One of two Lexington Bed Bath & Beyond locations. This one is located in Hamburg and the other one is off of Nicholasville Road, both conveniently located. They always mail me 20% off coupons but when I leave the coupon at home, they usually have an extra one at the counter or you can log onto retailmenot.com and score one. They have everything you can think of when it comes to bedding, linens, towels, etc. Now they even carry toiletries, shampoos, soaps, etc. If they're out of something that you want, they will order it online for you to be delivered to your house, at no additional or shipping cost. read more

If you think target is the place you lose track of time, spend too much money, and buy things you don't need then you have never been to bed bath & beyond. Let's start with the service, its the reason you come back because everyone is so friendly and they have shopping cars all over that store just pulling you in even more. The stuff there, OK let's be honest you might go in there cause maybe you needed come kitchen items or bed room décor and they have some of the best kitchen stuff....but then you find a hamburger patty maker and some fun tupperware and you slowly go down the rabbit hole. No you don't need that unnecessary item that happens to be on sale but you buy it anyway because you might need a create your own potato chips in a microwave thing (yes I did buy that and no I've never used it). The clearance sections make you think you are saving money but you aren't you are just buying more stuff you don't need..... But you actually need it yeah I need 10 wine glasses that don't match but they are so cute oh goodness they were $12 before now they are $8 yeah I definitely need 10 I'll just buy them all. The reality check doesn't come even when you see the total on the screen no it comes when you take all of that stuff home and try and either use it or put it in the cupboard unopened and never to be used and then realize you forgot the thing you came for. Seriously their products are amazing I've bene using the same pots and pans for years and no damage has been done to them. Sure I hate myself for spending hundreds of dollars a year on things I don't need but they make very interesting Christmas presents haha. read more

I called here looking for wooden bath mats for my master bath. They told me they had 2 kinds and quoted me the price. So I stopped by on my way home to pick one up. The one I chose was $10 higher than the price quoted to me over the phone. Upon asking the clerk who I talk to on the phone they agreed that they quoted me the wrong price and agreed to match the lower price that I had been given. I also picked up a data cable for my iPhone 6 plus for only $6.99 for a braided 6 foot cord so I'm very happy with that. I was asked multiple times if I needed help which is nice so my experience here today was really good and was told how I could save 20% off one item by enrolling in their Txt service. This place has a little bit of everything for your house. They also carry a lot of the "as seen on tv" items. I love the fact that they send our tons of 20% off coupons and if you are lucky enough...they send out $10 off a lot as well. They will ring them all in together for you and not make you get 12 different orders. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It is a clean and tidy store so please make sure to leave it that way. read more
