I got an item broken and they said they refunded it but never did- had to have the credit card issue the money because Bed Bath & Beyond told them and me it was refunded but it clearly was not.. Not really sure where my order was shipped from, but I placed a Gift order from Bed, Bath and Beyond for a 12th Anniversary gift to my daughter and her husband. It got to their home in NJ, but no note...no sender information...it was delivered inside a bag...NO BOX So they had no idea where it came from, just a plastic bag with His and Her Robes inside....their address on the bag. The pandemic really hurt this location. Went here to purchase a specific candle. The google search showed 3 in store. I'm off to the store! I should have known something was wrong when I was able to park in the front 3 spots from the entrance. What in the we thinking about going out of business is happening. 1 sales person on the floor, 1 at the self checkout and 2 at returns and pickup. I walk directly to the candle section. I see one unit with a few candles and diffusers. I'm turning and pacing looking for the rest. Now, I'm Confused. I find that one sales lady and she informs me that the huge selection of candles is a thing of the past. The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. I've been to this store twice so far and did not experience any problem in finding what I needed and also while trying to return an item I had bought at a different BBB store in NY. The parking looks wide open though there are multiple different stores and restaurants that share the same parking, so finding a spot wasn't difficult both the times. The store has easy access to walk through the aisles and look for what you need with different specialty sections. We purchased some pillows once and when we walked in to return a pan, the store associate did the refund in a jiffy and we were out of the store in no matter of time. Even when there was a long queue of customers, everyone wore a mask and followed the 6' distancing and the checkout was very safe. read more

Shout out to the young lady at the customer service counter who assisted me the entire time with a smile and her full devoted attention! Came in looking for a Fitbit to purchase as a gift. The employee assisted me by looking in their locked up area and found nothing. She then went onto their system to do further research and went else where in the store to continue to look. After her full search she apologize for the inconvenience and found me a few locations that showed inventory of this item. Parking at this location can be a hassle as it is located within an area that consists of more stores and a restaurant. The store is organized and easy to navigate. Coupons are difficult to find online. Yet, once you register to their site you will receive consistent coupon emails. Sign up with your address and receive coupons mailed to your home. 20% off is always a great deal. Kitchen appliances are my favorite items to purchase here. read more

Bed bath and beyond are good stores and the staff at this location is pretty good. The store is a little small compared to other Bed Bath and Beyonds so it gets packed especially at night. The real downside of this location is the parking lot which is way too small for all of the businesses in the strip mall. On weekends it's a nightmare and you don't even want to go anywhere near here during Christmas. It doesn't help that Costco is located right behind here either. Getting in and out or parking is not fun. read more

Most Bed Bath & Beyond places can feel overwhelming from the giant variety of items they sell. I have a hard time going in and browsing, but if I see something online or know of a specific item I'm there for, I'll go in. This place was smaller than most BBB, and it was a mess. We went in because our friend's wedding registry was here. The printout they give for the registry will say what items are available in the store and which need to be ordered. Despite that, it was incredibly difficult to find the items because they weren't in logical places. We were trying to buy a plate set from the registry, and even the employee we asked couldn't find it. Eventually we settled on a Conair mirror, which also took awhile to find because there wasn't really a "mirror" section in the bathroom department so much as random end shelves with mirror products scattered around the bathroom department. The parking lot is also too small for the amount of stores they have in the shopping center. read more

This location, though sometimes a disaster both in terms of its access and parking, has really helpful staff. Every time I'm here it seems an employee is asking if they can help me find anything and the cashier's ensuring I found everything I needed. This location is also ideal because Harmon's is right next door for all your bath needs, which this BBB does not carry. On that note, a more appropriate title would be "Bed & Beyond," but at least both stores will take as many of those 20% off coupons you collect. read more

The store is super clean and organized. I went in around 11 am, it was nice and empty. There was all of maybe 5 other shoppers there at the time. I browsed and took my time. Everything was great until I was greeted by one staff member who really ruined the experience for me. As I was paying, she was rushing me as if there was a line out the door behind me. Before I even finished putting my debit pin into the card reader, she began scolding me about how I needed to return my cart outside and put it in the right place. I wouldn't mind if she asked a bit nicer, not to mention I clearly needed the cart to come outside with me regardless due to the size of the items I purchased. She crumpled my receipt before literally shoving it into a bag and didn't even say goodbye or wish me a nice day. She stormed away from the register and went to organize some of the towels behind me. Again, it usually doesn't bother me, but the store was super empty. There was no reason for such a rude check out experience. read more

I'm an associate at the corporate office. Went in to get my discount and the women at the customer service desk dismissively told me I needed a form, which I didn't. I went to check my handbook since it was my first time using my discount and realized I did not need a form. When I returned and by that time was pissed off. I explained to her I was here for my discount and only need ID. Another team member came to her defense and said oh she thought you meant for the promotion which took place that weekend. I told them I asked for my discount nothing else. They did not apologize, did not seem sorry and hardly wanted to ring me up.. Not only will I never go back to the BBB in Clifton but I will warn everyone I know about the HORRIBLE customer service and will be looking into who the store manager is and their manager to complain about the poor service. read more

I give this store 4 stars. Not very busy just a mission to get through the parking lot to get to the store and park. For the most part shelves completely stocked. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful employees. No line no wait. Staff continuing to practice face mask guidelines which is a plus in my eyes!! Can new be too careful. My cashier at check was outstanding very professional and asked if I found everything that I was looking for ok did I need help with anything else. Very clean store. Good job to the staff read more

With so many great businesses taking the Bergen County Sunday Siesta, its nice to find a do-it-all store like Bed, Bath, and Beyond so close to the Bergen "belly of the beast." Although smaller in stature than so many of the other B,B&B locations in north Jersey, the Clifton, NJ store is not-too-shabby on stock. A major plus about this location: the staff--this location may have the friendliest staff of any of their stores! Major Downer: Parking!!! If you aren't a fan of getting rear-ended at 50mph+ try to find another B,B&B and/or definitely make an attempt to take the back roads; unfortunately no matter which way you travel into Clifton, on most days, you're going to hit walls of traffic. My advice is to pack drinks and snacks for the trip in and out. read more

I went to this store today about 10 minutes ago to purchase the pawslife cat litter cover and cat home for my living room, to keep my kitty litter hidden. It looks like a modern end table and is perfect for a living room space. When i took the items out of the box, i noticed the front of the litter cover was already broken & the wood split. This place is tight. Like spacial tight. You can't fit more than 1 cart down an aisle which drives me nuts. The upside is that they have a ton of stuff. They certainly can fit a lot of crap into a small store. The parking is terrible. The fact that I had to roam the lot at 3pm on a Monday is a little crazy. I wouldn't come near here on a weekend. I go here often, really like their line of cups for the Keurig. They've got most everything you could want for the home. Navigating the place is a bit tight, but it seems to be the way of things. Bring coupons, they take expired ones. I just wish they'd take it off your ENTIRE purchase, not just one item. read more

I went there on 11/15 to browse and take advantage of my coupon. Well, the store is too crowded to browse. So I decided on two items. The apple cutter was on a hook that said 7.99. At the register it rang as 9.99. I went back and they had the cutter on the wrong hook. Not fair. Parking is monstrous at this strip mall. Ordered a garment rack from their web site and it was defective, and the box opened. I returned it to the local store and wanted an even exchange, but I expected a small compensation as an act of good faith for my time wasted having put it together and having to take it apart and repackage it and drive to the store because the last piece, the garment rod, was too long for the base with no way to adjust either part to make it fit. The manager didn't care and only offered an even exchange or refund. Even a $5 gift card would have made me feel better about the situation, but instead I rejected the even exchange and asked for a refund. They don't deserve my business and I will shop any and everywhere else before I think about Bed Bath Beyond. Amazon has much better customer service and sells everything BBB does anyway. I went in this afternoon to register for my wedding. I called a few days before to make an aptt and was told one wasn't needed. I was met by Gayle who could not have had a worse attitude. She said there was no way anyone could help me because I need to be followed by a worker to help scan. I said it's okay I think we can handle it. She then called someone else and right in front of me said I can't stand these brides anymore. She was so rude. Had a great experience today in the store. I needed a sofa cover's for my living room couch and love seat. After two other employees took me to different locations which where both wrong, I was finally introduced to Sunday. Yes that's her name and it was a Sunday !!! Sunday took the time and was incredible efficient helping me get the proper covers. Her knowledge of the store and her incredible personality was delightful. I ended up spending $200 dollars and the covers are perfect. I would have not purchased the items without her help. I just bought a SHARK ROCKET Vacuum in this store. They were very helpful in finding this exact model. I have to say this vacuum is wonderful !!!! It is for people with pets. We all know how difficult pet hair is to pick up. After vacuuming using my Panasonic, I could not believe the amount of cat hair the Shark picked up! Now I can't wait to vaccum just to see what is in the cannister. My rugs look lighter & I know they are clean & will last longer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. read more

She threw her hands up in the air and slammed them onto the desk and yelled "really?!". She was mad that we were only asking her to do her job.
