Very disappointed with Beckett & Robb, and Carl in particular. I needed a custom suit for my wedding in Hawaii ~6 weeks away, and Carl assured me he could have it made and available a week in advance of the big day and before my flight out. The suit did not make it to Seattle by the promised date and Carl had to overnight it to Hawaii the day before my wedding, where it arrived at my hotel as a disaster. The lapels were misaligned by about 8 inches (see photo), there were loose threads (see photo), the custom patch with my wedding date had the wrong date on it, and it had belt loops rather than the side adjusters I had ordered. Needless to say, Carl did not help me look my best for my wedding. When I returned to Seattle and brought the suit back to Carl to get fixed, he didn't seem particularly apologetic. He offered no discount for his failure to provide a quality garment for the wedding, and told me it would take two months to fix. Also worth noting that there is zero recourse at Beckett & Robb: the "main office" is a inbox/voicemail that doesn't return emails/calls (I tried both), so there is no way to escalate and Carl is the only person you will be able to get a hold of. I've had custom suits made before (used Klein Epstein & Parker which did a fantastic job) so I guess my expectations were high. I won't use Carl / Beckett & Robb again, and I would advise anyone else to be particularly wary for any time-sensitive needs. I still don't have a fixed suit in my possession 14 weeks after the promised delivery date. read more

Carl at the Seattle Beckett & Robb was so amazing. I needed a tux for my wedding. My (then) fiancé and I went together to the store and immediately Carl was incredibly helpful in finding out exactly what we were looking for. He asked her about her dress and saw photos to help him make sure that my tux would not only go with it, but would be stunning enough to be photographed alongside of it. Throughout the entire process he was very helpful and would follow up when needed. It got to the point where it felt like I was working with a friend, not a business. The customer service was off the charts. In the end I was so happy with the way my tux looked...and my (now) wife was thrilled with the result. Thank you Carl! read more

My experience with Carl at Beckett & Robb was very disappointing. Orders were incorrectly placed, the arrival of the garments was up to four months late and ill-fitting. This was a large expense which required the services of a local tailor to repair. Additional costs- Beckett & Robb is pricey and lacks value for service. Carl is friendly and entertaining. I never felt Carl enjoyed adequate support making it impossible for him to honor commitments made to customers. Don't recommend the store. read more

What I find to be most fantastic about my tuxedo made by B&R, is the fabric. For years I have looked for the perfect shade of midnight blue. One that is a soft navy in sunlight, and blacker than black by evening bulb light. I found it here. When I first walked into the store, my first though was, "I am going to have my wedding tuxedo made here." And I did. Everything is made to measure with extreme attention to detail. The sales associate, Scott, knows men's wear. He will help you select the right shirt, suit, shoes, you name it. The customer service is also exceptional in my experience. Although the tux arrived with incorrect buttons, they were speedy to have them corrected. The wedding was a blast. I got the suit for my wedding last week from them. Carl was very helpful in the process. As it was my first time ordering a custom suit, Carl walked me through the selection and customization process. What I ended up with was beautiful! Carl was very kind, communicative, and even helped me with decisions for other parts of the wedding, such as the colors for the groomsman. There was a snag in the process, in which the suit came in a different color, but Carl went above and beyond to reorder the suit and get it expedited to arrive in time for the wedding, even driving it down to me in Olympia on a Friday night. I needed a custom made MTM suit for my wedding and Beckett &Robb did a fantastic job. Tanner was awesome at guiding me through the process, and helping me make the numerous decisions on the various details of the suit. I was also impressed with the fabrics they had to choose from. The final product came out great. I will say that the shop shoots to get the fit right the first time, so don't expect much tailoring after you've taken delivery. This isn't a true bespoke suit (made from the ground up), so I wasn't expecting multiple rounds with a tailor anyway. Lastly, the customer service is what impressed me the most. I've had a few suits throughout the years, and I decided to splurge on a bespoke suit for my wedding. The buying experience was wonderful, as Carl was both friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the suit itself was a disappointment. Despite a final fitting, the sleeves came out comically short with the entire cuff and part of the shirt sleeve showing. This was at 1:00pm on a Thursday. Lights were off and no one inside. I tried calling the number on my confirmation email but no answer. This is a review of my experience thus far with Beckett and Robb of Seattle. It only reflects my initial consultation , selection and ordering of a MTO suit and shirt needed for my fast approaching August wedding. Upon entering I found the store to be simple yet tidy and well maintained. I was promptly greeted by a young man named Tanner who was finishing up with the client who had the appointment before mine. I was a bit early so there was definitely no complaint of having to sit and wait for a few minutes as the two concluded their business. Once they finished Tanner formally introduced himself and began a very relaxed but detailed conversation around what i was looking for and my expectations. I explained that I am in the midst of a weight loss plan and am reluctant to break the bank on the suit that may not fit properly 6 months from now. Tanner then directed me towards materials from their "stock collection" that are still of great quality, but due to their bulk purchases on the material are more reasonably priced than some of their other options. Once the cloth was selected we spent the next hour working thru the customization process, including being properly sized for a nice MTO shirt. I found Tanner to be very knowledgeable and accommodating during this extremely detailed process. He was able to explain in great detail current trends in suits as well as the expected results from all the "tweaks" he was making during the initial fitting of the coat, shirt and pants. He did all this still keeping in mind the desired look and silhouette I had in mind. All in all I am impressed thus far in the Beckett and Robb process and look forward to the day the suit arrives for my fitting. I will write another review once I see the final product. I had a tailor made shirt done here for my wedding. The shirt came in too long on the sleeves and baggy on the arms. When I told them I was not comfortable using the shirt and wanted adjustment, they refused to help. They told me the only thing they could help me with would be adding more buttons on the sleeves. Loved my customer experience and process of made-to-measure suiting! This was my first in-person experience and Scott did a great job of measuring and offering insight on what trends look good. I had a certain look in mind and Scott was able to provide me direction on how I should think about fitting, styles, patterns. DO NOT GO THIS PLACE !!!!! IT WILL RUIN YOUR WEDDING !!!! I singed up an account for this review. This is the WORST experience. I have to say something. I ordered my finance's wedding suit on April 29th 2017. Scott told me it needs 6 weeks and we have plenty of time until the mid of July. Then I checked back in the 06/13/2017 and they completed did not place the order !! Then I waited one week and no one gave me any update. I called again and they said Scott left. But no one told me anything about that ! Dustin and Jesse followed up and told me it is delayed. Then today 07/03/2017, I got the suit, and IT IS NOT THE ONE I ORDERED !!!! I called customer service, and they said it is just missing one pocket and you could still wear it ! This is unbelievable !! And our wedding is in 12 days. Now I have to run into a store and shop for the wedding suit for my finance. THIS IS THE WORST !!! DO NOT RISK YOUR BIG EVENT HERE. read more

I had emailed them right after they opened saying I wasn't ready to buy a suit, but wanted to know more about the process and their options. They were so accommodating and walked me through their whole company, how it works and the different suiting options they have available. The guys were really knowledgable, chill and open to my questions. From what I can tell the suits were top quality and not too terribly priced for getting a bespoke/MTM suit. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to make the step up from an off the rack suit. read more

HORRIBLE customer service!!! My boyfriend and I went into Beckett & Robb on April 22, 2017 looking for a waistcoat for him to wear for our wedding (as we were having a hard time finding one as he is very tall). We went to Beckett & Robb and Scott performed a fitting and allowed us to pick out fabric for the order. We purchased the vest and went to purchase his suit that we decided on at Bonobos. When we got to Bonobos they informed us that they had sold out of his size in the suit we were going to buy to go with the vest we had just ordered. We literally called Scott within hours of placing our order to let him know that we needed to place the vest order on hold as we may need to change the fabric of the vest. It took him a few days to get back to us (we called and emailed him multiple times) but he finally did confirmed that the vest was on hold. We contacted Scott today and he informed us that the vest was not placed on hold and that it has arrived and is ready to be picked up. What about his confirmation by email that it was on hold? We NEVER called him to request the vest be made! His excuse was that there was a hard deadline but we never requested a hard deadline and we are still well before 4-6 weeks for made to order items before our wedding. We are ridiculously upset. Now we have a $363 vest that doesn't go with the suit he found to wear to our wedding. My future husband wears a T-shirt and jeans to work. He is NEVER going to wear this! read more

I came here with my boyfriend with the intention of finding a suit for him. He is rather tall and skinny and has trouble finding a suit that looks fitted and professional. I was in a hurry to leave town for a friend's wedding at the Ocean a few Friday afternoons ago when I realized that I didn't pack a sweater. It gets cold at night out there. I stopped in the store and the man there explained that he does mostly custom clothing, but gave me a list of four other places where I may be able to find a sweater right then. His resource and willingness to send me to his competition makes me want to shop with him. I wear suits to work and to a lot of functions, so I can easily become a customer. I walked in another store that 'supplies' suits around the corner and asked them the same question and they said they had only one, pointed to it and walked back to the desk area. I checked out his website over the weekend and will be back to have a few things made. Truth is, I had a suit guy, but he recently retired and I (and a group of my colleagues) have been searching.
