Bought some items online. Disappointed with my first online purchase from likelihood. Ordered adidas samba's and a stussy tee. Somehow domestic standard shipping came out to $35? I hope everything goes well! Package came in, and realized that the tee wasn't in there. It was later noted that my tee would be coming in later on the physical receipt, with no tracking number... Ok that's fine. Open the shoe box, and samba's are a tried on pair with dirty insoles, retied laces, no paper and creasing. That's not cool, I'm paying full retail price for a new pair. Receipt says final sale on full retail priced items. Was not notified during check out online. Customer care replied saying that the reason why domestic shipping is so expensive is because they have to ship from another likelihood store. So I'm paying double shipping? Why was I not told about this? Final sale was because I used a 10% code. Again, was NOT notified online. They did not want to at LEAST give me a partial refund for the samba's, and said they would waive the final sale so that I could return them. After all that terrible service, I would even have to pay for shipping to return a dirty pair of shoes. Disappointing. The worst customer service I've had to deal with. Sad. Always love the selection of shoes and I've been supporting this local business for many years and many other local business on the hill. I've loved the hard to find new balances, pumas and also Clark weavers I got in the past. I want to comment on the lack of customer service. (Heads up, this is a review brewing for over 6 years). There are many times in which I've been ignored and also have to work extra hard to get the attention of an associate. The vibe seems like a cool kids vibe in which the shoes will sell themselves and it's an imposition to ask for assistance. The associates seem too busy just chatting with themselves and there is no upselling or any type of Interest involved. The owner also appears hit or miss with either super friendly or in their own world and may appear snooty and not that approacheable. (My assumption so apologies). I was very dissapointment I could not return a sale item due to not reading the fine print which did not pop up. Totally understand the process but please work on your customer service. It's very sub par. Ross and Trader Joe's has better service. Respectfully! read more

My friends and I stopped by here to see what we could find while on vacation. This store EASILY has the best customer service we've experienced by far in Seattle. The staff working were very friendly and welcoming! We were intimidated since we've never been to a sneaker boutique before, but everyone was so nice and informative (didn't get to catch their names). The store has a nice ambience to it, aesthetic for your instagram pics, variety of shoes, and offers affordable prices. We'll visit again when we come back to Seattle! read more

The latest acquisitions included (Made in the USA) New Balance 998 in brown with grey, and Adidas LXCON White with Blue. This shop has a cool branding to go along with a quality selection of shoes. However, please do yourself a favor a do NOT buy ONLINE. I should have been better about reading the reviewers prior, but their customer service team here is absolutely piss-poor and unempathetic. This screams a huge red flag, given in my case, I wanted to return my items because of the quality the shoe was in. Every shoe on the site is depicted and marketed in a great way (ie lighting, freshness, etc). However upon unboxing my Vans Vault originals were dirty and seemed has if they were cleaned from a prior return (scruff marks & small markings still on the canvas fabric). To make matters worst - when I called to ask for a return label - they took my name down and asked for my email. Shortly after, I get email stating they will not accept my items in any shape or condition per policy. I responded with a thorough response relating to the exception given the quality of the shows. I hear nothing back. I follow up on my email with a call to their shop and speak to a gentleman by the name of Daniel. Daniel has no care in the world about my order or what quality the shoes came in! As I was explaining my reasoning, given I figured the amount of complaints that come with retail in general, I can hear laughing in the background. To top it off, he paints the picture that I am at fault because it took a week for me to follow up rather than sending them pictures immediately when I got the shoes (mind you this is still within the 14 days of policy). Frustration aside, avoid dealing with this team if possible. They have great, exclusive wear but avoid a future headache and only buy in-store. read more

This is a SHADY store with horrific customer service. Avoid at all cost. The customer service is horrible and dishonest. I spent over $1500 on many products in store during a shopping trip and wanted to return an item. I was not told policy re:returns nor was it posted anywhere in store. After many communications both on phone and in email I was told no problem re return and then a week later told I couldn't return the item. I was lied to multiple times. AMEX is currently investigating on my behalf. There are other places you can get these products. The customer service here is horrible and VERY SHADY. Every time I walk into this store, I feel at home! The sneaker community can be intimidating and exclusionary, and I never felt like that in Likelihood. They work hard to stock quality products that look good long-term and while they also have well-managed launches/raffles, you can always find a hidden gem that you don't see online often. The launches are always SO well done to limit bots and prioritize local Seattle residents, and the team goes above and beyond to invest into its customers, like Golden Tickets, events with local designers and artists, and fun freebies that make every shopping experience unique. I love shopping at lklihood. Little sneaker stores like this remind me of Goods circa 2006. I wanted to write this review specifically for my favorite salesman Max. Yesterday when a younger cooler crowd was crowding into the store to purchase children's size dunks to resell, max was the only team member who went out of his way to get me a brain dead brand denim jacket I was in love with from their website. Turns out the piece was over 2 years old so he went to dig it out of the warehouse. I ended up finding 2 pairs of sneakers that I added to my collection as well. Just updating my review to say that their customer service has gotten a lot better. Staff are friendly and helpful right when you walk into the door now. Also, much respect to these folks for switching certain releases from FCFS online to FCFS in-store so that Seattle consumers get first dibs and bots can F off. Also, shout out to whoever helps me every time I come in. I don't know his name, but he has brown hair and I believe a mustache/beard? Be careful when buying from this company. I have visited this location on my last trip to Seattle and I was impressed with their customer service, however that is not the case with their online store. Today I processed an order through their "invoice" system. I paid through Apple Pay and it took the money out of my bank account, but then cancels my order. Hmmm sounds suspect. I called them for clarification and all they can provide is "We're sorry but our system did not approve your order" but yet the funds were already withdrawn and now I have to wait for a refund. I was told to just resubmit my order, but who knows if it's going to kick it back again. I see you, son. Be weary if you are purchasing online. Such a waste of time. read more

Hands down the coolest sneaker boutique in Seattle! They have the best selection of new and exclusive shoes that are hard to find anywhere else. The inside of the shop is very unique and showcases all their shoes beautifully. You can find anything from adidas, nike, vans, puma, eytys and yeezys! The list goes on. Most of the shoes are for men, but they occasionally have small enough sizes for women to wear (I'm a size 5-6). Their women's selection is growing too, which I love! They also sell a few clothes and small goodies like socks, candles, chocolates, etc. Aaron, Daniel and the other employees are always super helpful and kind. Cool store, really friendly people. My son(14) is a sneaker head and takes every opportunity to check out stores when visiting a area. We were up from Portland for a 7on7 tournament for my boy and once it ended & he showed we headed into town to visit a couple of places. Likelihood stood out from all the places because the two gentlemen working were not only very friendly but let Max try on a bunch of different shoes. Don't expect to get good service if you're a veteran or a minority! I got disrespected on Veterans Day when asked to use the discount they advertise! I later called and ask to talk to the manager and they hung up on me and I called back the owner answered and was nice and offered to give the shoes for free but I didn't declined. When I got off the phone I recognize his voice and him and three other people were there when I was getting disrespected and they had nothing to say.. so to me that shows all they're true character. Walked into the store recently and no one was willing to help us when we entered. No greeting by it's employees and felt uninvited to shop because no one asked if we needed to help. My friend and I felt that there might have been some bias since we are just college students. They had an okay selection with missing colorways for some shoes. I'd rather buy from StockX or straight from a Nike or Adidas store/website. I'll go back to give it another try later but I was severely disappointed in how this store operates for being such a posh store. read more

Staff was friendly and it was cool of them to bring us out hot chocolate. Poor planning and communication on the limited NMD OG release. Waited 4 hours in the cold and rain to be told when I finally got to the door that there was only like 2 of each size and the shoes were sold out. A suggestion for next time, please let people know how many pairs there actually are, Or a ticketing system for the pair you want, Or come out and ask each person what size they want and cross check it with your inventory at least, so we know that we are actually going to get a pair rather than waiting for no reason in the cold and rain. This was a really nice sneaker store. I've been to a lot of sneaker stores and this was by far one of the best. I loved how the owner was actually on the store floor and would communicate with his customers. The setup of the store was amazing as well as the vibe. A lot of sneaker stores give off a grungy hood vibe, and it's not always comfortable. This store was bright and played nice music. They had a great selection of shoes and accessories. For people who love good design and great sneakers but don't want to wait in line for 20 hours on the next super exclusive sneaker drop (don't worry they got those too). The staff is super friendly and helpful - they took the time to walk me through their amazing selection before I tried on several pairs and made a decision.
