This one is hard to rate for me. I contacted him and he was very quick to respond back and make an appointment to come and look at my kitchen as that is what I wanted to have remodeled he said he would have a general quote and an idea drawn up for me by Friday and sent to my email. I really enjoyed talking with him as did my mother-in-law. And then I never heard anything back from him. I figured he was busy so I gave him a couple weeks. A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment. read more

Disappointing and unprofessional experience with customer service and communication. Cannot comment on the quality of the work that this company provides. I received a response from Tim who came to the site, inspected the project and even agreed to proceed/provided a verbal estimate. Despite this, he then stopped answering my messages and calls. I assume that this project ultimately wasn't worth his time but this is a business not a dating app. Communication should be a basic requirement and they fell flat here. read more

Tim and his crew did a fabulous job restoring our neglected decks! They even went above and beyond by sanding the decks when they didn't come out as great as he had hoped, and he didn't even charge me extra for this. They were easy to work with and communicated well. No complaints here! read more

I worked with Tim and his crew on a kitchen, bathroom and laundry room remodel in late 2024. He was the most responsive of the contractors I talked to. He provided a detailed quote and had a detailed change order process. The project got done in about 2.5 months which was good pace considering the scope. There were minor hiccups along the way as any project of this size would; his team was responsive to feedback and made changes. They did a great job overall. read more

Tim, John and the crew did a great job on my unplanned home renovation! In late October, 2024, I came home after only being gone for two hours. When I returned home that day, I found a new water feature pouring from the hallway ceiling from the floor above. The leak from an upstairs bathroom sink supply line, managed to wreak havoc on three different levels. The damage was so involved, that I had to live in a hotel for nearly three months. After nearly two weeks of having fans and dehumidifiers running in the house 24/7, they were removed. That's when I reached out and spoke to Tim. Tim and John were out the next day to review the damage. I provided the insurance estimate. Once paperwork was done, things were underway. This was right around the holidays, but the guys got in there and got started. The project manager, John, kept me updated with status on contractors, etc. Really did appreciate the clear communication! Tim was realistic about the start date and completion date. I appreciated that as well. They did great quality work and I would definitely use them again. read more

Becker Custom Construction rebuilt the stairs to our duplex front apartment and the arbor that shades the back apartment with high quality materials and careful finishing skill. They did this without annoying our renting clients or making life difficult for them. They cleaned up after the project and took away all the debris of the old stairs and arbor, plus the plant material that we asked them to clean up as well. Their bid for the job was careful and appropriate. I highly recommend Becker Custom Construction. We've already asked them to do some work on our own home as well. read more

Floors, appliance/fixture install, yard rehab and retaining walls, tile, installing a new basement window, paint, and creating a new room in our basement. 9 months ago We were pressed for time due to buyers short closing time. Tim Becker showed up right away and emailed me an estimate in just a few hours. Tim was the last inspection to happen and came in in line with one other estimate. But explaining our situation he was able to get started in two days and even with what would be normally unreasonable time frames he got everything done on time. Tim put up with extra requests during the project, he was able to accept change and updates with grace. The repair/construction, plumbing, electrical, clean-up, everything not only on-time but a 2 days early. TIm is friendly and honest. And we really appreciate the team of folks he brought in. We wanted to do a laundry room remodeling this year to fix a few issues that had been bothering us. We posted requests on yelp and were able to meet and got quotes from several contractors. We decided to go with Tim since he really listened to our needs and were able to come up the most efficient approach to solve our main issues. And we are so glad we went with Tim on this project! Tim's team has helped us replace floor particle boards and the floor surface with the LVP we wanted, his team also put down a moisture barrier under LVP per our request. Our floor is now steady, no squeaky sound, and protected from water properly. Tim's team also helped us reroute the drying machine exhaust duct that helped us gain 6 inches space from the back of laundry machines. Our cabinets/vanity got repainted and space got reorganized in the way works best to us. We also got our countertops and fixtures upgraded. Communication with Tim is always clear and efficient, and he always has quick response. The project was done in a timely manner as we initially aligned. We needed our framed deck cover supports to be redone and made plum after a recent snowstorm followed by rain caused the supports on the roof to collapse. The job entailed designing new supports and connecting struts so that the roof would not shift and roof supports to collapse again. Becher Custom Construction came out in a timely fashion, quoted the work and completed it on time and within budget. Yea!
