i wanna like this place because it's so close to where i work. maybe they just need more employees? i plan to come back and try some of their food/juices/smoothies when i'm not in a hurry - this isn't somewhere to come when you ARE in a hurry. two people in front of me in line left, or else i probably would have had to. can't justify waiting 15 min for a coffee you pour yourself. but it's a cute spot, good dairy free milk options, very yummy looking food menu! and you can't say it's bad service or expensive for what it is. there are people in kitchen cooking & blending, and the person taking orders is also making all the coffee drinks. smoothies & juices are $8 - very average price. read more

I don't see what the hype is all about: 1) parking is a nightmare 2) there are barely any outside seating options yet they have a huge lot 3) extremely pricy for a smoothie. I'm a health food addict when it comes to smoothies and even the biggest sizes of pure protein DO NOT cost $8. If they do, it's for a 64 oz. Here a 12 oz is $8 and I'm being generous on the size. Please don't try to take advantage of those that live in the River Oaks/Upper Kirby area. read more

This place is super cute! Love the patio! I got ginger spice juice and my friend got a sugar cookie. The juice was really tasty but I was surprised that was served warm, like room temperature. It would have been a lot better had it been chilled. Not sure why anyone would want warm juice. My friend's cookie was surprisedly special for a plain sugar cookie. Nice and buttery. I would definitely like to try more of their menu. read more

Absolutely love the atmosphere and food here! The açaí bowl was delicious and the garden was such a nice place to hang out and read for a bit. But the customer service wasn't great. The ones behind the counter were pretty rude and standoffish. But if you're looking for a cozy place to drink coffee and read, I recommend Bebidas! read more

Just had the chicken wrap, and iced coffee. Both were very good and clearly made with high quality ingredients. I've come here about 10 times and I cannot say I've ever had a bad experience! The patio is extremely relaxing and the staff is so nice. I love coming here to study or just hang out with friends. Definitely would recommend! read more

While the smoothies and juices I've had are good, they don't justify the exorbitant price. And, it takes at least fifteen minutes just to get your order. Ridiculous for a damned juice! read more

It's just pretty. It's crazy over priced and today the girls working there were incredibly rude with everyone. We ordered three bowls, two came out in 5' the third one in 15' .... also portions were really small today. Te tables outside are always very sticky! I miss the nice girl that used to work here, I would go just for their juice but not for their food. read more

Great place, love the rice bowl but what is up with the chicken that comes in it? Something is off about it. The look & texture of the chicken meat doesn't seem right. It looks like fake meat mushed together and just cooked enough to be edible.... 3 for 3 now. The chicken almost looks like tofu~ Acai bowl is wayyy creamy, thought it sat too long before being served but that's the way they want it :/ -new place still and will totally update if any changes! read more

The staff here is really friendly, and the food is way better than you would expect from a coffee shop. Plus they have a pretty cool outdoor area with lots of shade. Great place to stop and chill with a coffee for a little bit if you're in the neighborhood. read more

I was super duper excited to try this place as it's walking distance from my apartment but was incredibly disappointed. My partner and I ordered two smoothies and while they were decent, they certainly did not make up for the lack of customer service. No one greeted us as we walked in and reviewed the menu. We were the only customers. You have been open just shy of two weeks. Get. It. Together. read more

Food & juice were good, but a little overpriced. My friend had a smoothie that she said was terrible. It irks me that the minimum suggested tip was 18%, but there were signs suggesting you bus your own tables. Not sure why they think they should get 18% for counter service. read more

Came for the avocado toast, but only stayed for the aesthetics. $7 for a slice of toast with avocado and 4 slices of radish and a handful of alfalfa sprouts on top. Yes I can make it at home and it will taste exactly the same. But do I have a cute hipster neon sign on my wall, or a cactus in the middle of my table at home? No. The only reason to come back here is for the hipster vibes and instagram photo worthy backdrops. ‍ come if you wanna be extra and gets some likes on the gram. read more

Im a coffee lover and expert (in my own head ha!), and the flat white here is amazing! Do yourself a favor and get 2, like i did, then you dont have to worry about the traffic when you can just fly home. read more

As the avid coffee shop goer, ambiance if everything to me, and Bebidas does a good job of those. The patio out front is nice and comfy and just offer a nice ambiance to watch the cars go by on a spring day. The coffee is pretty good as well and the staff was pretty friendly. read more

A-ok overall. The coffee was lukewarm and tasted average. The staff was outgoing and friendly, so that's a plus. The brewed coffee came to $3.25 with tax, but that included free refills (AFAIK). I liked their patio area outside and overall didn't have any big complaints against here. Not the best coffee I ever had, but overall not a bad experience here. read more

I eat here all the time and especially enjoy their iced jasmine tea on a hot day. Today, I picked up two kale salads w grilled chicken to go and was a bit disappointed that the portion was much smaller than the eat-in version. read more

Honestly, your $8+ goes to the cute ambiance. Too bad the food, staff, and drinks are disappointing and underwhelming.

Love the vibe of this place. Small, but I have never had a problem finding a place to sit and enjoy the time. They don't rush you. I have not had the food, but friends have raved about the breakfast tacos. I go there specifically for their hemp matcha lattes. Enjoy! read more

Great service, indoor/outdoor seating, the atmosphere is perfect for studying/working or grabbing coffee with a friend. The food & juice options are pretty good too. read more

This is a really funky, cool spot to grab a quick bite. The decor is great but the restaurant is quite warm so dress accordingly. We tried the Wonder Toast - challah, ricotta, marmalade. It was good BUT the whole "mouth feel" was soft. I suggest they change up the bread to something crunchy/grainy/seedy because every bite had the same texture and I didn't want to finish it. Next up was the QB Toast - grain bread, goat cheese, cucumbers, pickled radishes. Fantastic. The herb goat cheese was delicious, the bread was full of flavor, the cucumbers were insanely refreshing, and although I could not distinguish a pickled flavor on the radishes overall the toast was great. read more

The only good thing about this place is the breakfast tacos. Other than that the coffee is awful, it's overpriced, and I will not be returning. The coffee had no flavor and the avocado toast smelt like they just pulled grass out of a pasture. I do not recommend this place to anyone and once again will not be returning! read more

Customer service was not so friendly but we enjoyed the giardineira chicken salad sandwich and "The Dude" smoothie. We added whey protein to ours. Very delicious! Wish they displayed the calories on their menu or somewhere. read more

Bebidas - Giardineira chicken salad sandwich. Very fresh very delicious. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Houston, Texas

The food was simple yet delicious, and the menu didn't give you a headache (like when you look at a Cheesecake Factory menu) the food options they have were perfect. I'd definitely go back again and recommend this place to anyone. I had the acai bowl and my bf and I enjoyed it. The chorizo and egg taco was good as well as the chicken sandwich. Tight seating inside. read more

Nice location with good outdoor seating and clean organized indoors. Acai bowls and breakfast burritos were very good and service was great.

We are frequent Bebidas customers. However, after today I'm not sure that we will be back. The food is mediocre at best and very over priced. We were sitting outside with our two dogs and asked the waitress that brought our us our food for some napkins and she proceeded to tell us that we can go inside and grab our own napkins. First of all, what kind of customer service is that? Second of all, we had two 100lb dogs with us so getting up to go inside to grab anything is not easy. When we approached the manager about the situation he shrugged it off like that behavior was okay. If there is one thing that will put you out of business it is poor customer service. All in all, the staff here needs to get it together. read more

I always drive by this place wondering if it's any good, and I finally decided to stop in today after being disappointed by a nearby establishment.... and I definitely did not regret it! The coffee was excellent--smooth, not too bitter, and not too hot. I got two breakfast tacos and they were actually a lot better than I expected them to be (this is Houston, after all). There was a good amount of egg and bacon in one taco, the chorizo wasn't too greasy in the other, and the tortillas felt and tasted homemade. My only complaint was the lack of heat in the salsa (it was truly a salsa, NOT a hot sauce). I'm excited to come back and spend some more time here because I loved the vibe! read more

I love the decor here. And the La Playa smoothie was delicious. Can't wait to return when it's not so hot so that I can sit outside on the beautiful patio. read more

It's a cute place - really great concept! The execution needs some help though. Staff seemed really disconnected, in-cohesive, and confused. The chicken salad and blueberry muffin are good, but the cold brew coffee tasted off. With some better training this could be a super awesome spot. read more

What a cute place! I love it when the doors are closed I love it when the doors are open. Great place to have a snack and some coffee. You can definitely find something delicious and healthy here. read more

Just tried one of their smoothies for the first time and it was delish! Just what I needed on this hot day. Basically, giving this place 4 out of 5 stars because of parking. It really is tiny and by time I mean one regular spot and one handicap but still worth visiting and trying a smoothie, latte or nibble. I had what is referred to as the Dude because I was craving something chocolatey with coffee and number concoction. Didn't wait to long and guy behind counter was friendly. A bit busy and full inside as it's a little cozy but nice quaint ambience. Would highly recommend you stop and just try a smoothie. Mine was cool, velvety and not bitter or over sweet. Had to get used to the dates embedded in the drink but still quite nice! read more

Great patio and location! Friendly staff and easy parking. Avocado toast and the brown rice bowl is a must

Absolutely love this place. Such a great place to sit outside and catch up with friends. Smoothies and and coffees are both very good.

I really love this place and its vibe but the past few months it's been VERY unpleasant to come here because there's no AC! It's the same temp inside as it is outside: which is oppressive. I want to keep coming here but I'm going to have to find a place to hangout with some cold air because my old hormonal arse is about to pass out! I will amend my review once the AC is fixed. read more

Great breakfast find. While we didn't taste the food, because we just had breakfast at home, the food options looked really tasty! We ordered the El Niño smoothie and a cappuccino. Both were really good. Service was great as well! read more

I'm on board with the idea of this place - and I love their other concepts. The issues here were - it's expensive and I wasn't impressed with what I received and it wasn't easy! Avocado toast was nothing special and the Nino smoothie was overpowered by peanut butter. Parking is also a major issue here - the lot was full and there wasn't enough people inside to justify all the cars. I would go back to perhaps try the juices, but it's not high on my list. read more

I hope this racist ass piece of shit of a business gets shut down. I live right behind this place and will never be back. After countless of my close friends told me what horrible time they had. Waiting over 30 min for simple stuff that was already made in the case. While everyone was getting there desert delivered to their table they had to go up and ask more than once for their order! I didn't believe them so I went to see for myself and oh boy were my friends right!! The fucking attitude were horrible and the very obvious that I was getting the lower end of their service. they were rude and I hope they go out of business! it 2019 if you're still be racist I hope you burn in hell. If you are a person of color one don't go here two look at the review with one stars!! All good reviews are white people. read more

I went after seeing the social media about the snoballs. We excitedly went. They were bland and the ice was hard. Nothing like a New Orleans' style snoball. The snoballs need shaved ice and more pungent flavors. read more

Ordered three items. Had to request the second after ordering (and paying too much for them). Took a table and waited over ten minutes for the hot chocolate, which was mediocre as well. We've satisfied our curiosity and won't be back. read more
