Love this yoga studio! It's nestled off a side street in Beacon and so cute. The instructor is fabulous and very passionate. I was able to advance quickly due to his impeccable instruction. Kathy Martin is amazing at everything she does! So soothing and such a positive person to be around! I was fortunate enough during the height of COVID to catch her on Zoom. She goes out of her way to make people feel comfortable and welcome and to work with any physical limitations and make great suggestions. I can't put pressure on my knees, so I really appreciated that and mostly I appreciated what a kind and caring person she is, so I would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone in any condition that needs a fabulous Yoga instructor! read more

I go every Saturday with instructor Kathy who is excellent! She is kind, truly interested in your well-being; when she asks "how are you?" She means it. She takes the time to talk with you about all things, yoga, your day, her day, concerts, life. She is a happy, considerate excellent yoga instructor and person. I enjoy the slow flow and yin - each week starts my restorative soul. This yoga studio offers yoga that is real, for the body mind and spirit - not just hot to sweat. Yoga as it should be. Love beBhakti's classes. A good balance of meditation, flow, and alignment practice in room temperature studio. I really enjoy having harmonium to ground my mindset and breathing. The yogis are very experienced and can guide my muscles to reach their potential. As a mother of young kids, I also really appreciate the classes they offer for toddlers and baby-and-me. My 4-year old daughter and my baby son have enjoyed the classes designed for them/me. Highly recommend. read more

Absolutely a delight! I'm in Beacon for a little self care getaway. Im so glad I found beBhakti. I took class with Lauren, and she couldn't have been more welcoming. The class was intimate, with a variety of levels, and I very much appreciated the attention Lauren gave to each of us. It was an opportunity to explore some different postures and to deepen other aspects of practice. The studio itself is lovely and tranquil but unassuming. This place is a gem! I'm new-ish to Beacon, and I'm so happy to have this yoga studio right down the street! Its wonderful in so many ways. I've been practicing yoga on and off for about 18 years and have tried all different kinds. This studio feels like a special community. Lauren and the 4 other teachers I've had are all wonderful. They each have their unique style, treat the students as individuals and offer modifications for different levels/conditions​ etc. I really enjoy the variety of classes here, especially the bump yoga, and Katonah​ which I tried here for the first time. The vinyasa classes are fun and always interesting​, unique from the last class, and challenging but not discouraging​. The studio is pretty​ and clean - I love the energy of the orange and purple. I appreciate the balance of having the Sanskrit​ chants and music ​in some classes and a more straightforward physiology​-type approach in other classes. Thanks beBhakti:) read more

I recently moved to the area from Brooklyn and I was thrilled to find Lauren and her beautiful beBahkti studio after trying another place that wasn't right for me. Truthfully it's my favorite yoga studio ever. Lauren is an incredibly gifted and creative teacher and human being. Her dedication and personal devotion to the practice is felt through her classes. She teaches with love, humor, grace, honesty, and without pretension. There is always a challenge and there is always a gift. I'm always happily surprised with what a class holds and I always get something that I need from it, whether I knew I needed it or not. Although Lauren's class times are generally better for my schedule, I've also taken classes with a few of the other teachers and have been very impressed with them too. They have all been lovely and unique in their styles. In addition, there are great offerings for workshops and other events. beBhakti is a such a open, warm, and welcoming place - wish I had the time to go every day! Thank you! read more
