I started with the two-week unlimted membership, and after experiencing the classes for myself, I instantly signed up for the unlimited monthly membership. The energy is so welcoming, the workouts are challenging in the best way, and you leave feeling stronger and refreshed. You can really tell this is a space people are going to love. I'm so excited to have a place like this locally and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try hot Pilates or yoga in the Mohegan Lake area.

He allows bullying from the hasidic jews to go unchecked. We have observed several of the jewish children mistreat children of other races and Sensei issued no corrections and allowed it to happen. My 6-year old son has been attending Little Ninja classes at Power MMA Krav Magra for 4 sessions…read morenow and I cannot say enough great things about the program and Sensei Yuri! The program promotes fitness, confidence and respect of oneself and others in a positive and fun learning environment and my son has thrived with each successive session. I have been so impressed with not only the Little Ninja program (which, as I mentioned, goes beyond karate and teaches respect of one's parents, healthy eating and exercise habits, discipline, etc.), but also with Sensei Yuri who has the unique ability to pull the best qualities out of each student. His way of teaching is one that is fun, but treats each student regardless of age as one who must give and must receive respect. He is not afraid to expect the best of each student, and the students thrive! I'm excited for my son to now go to the next level of classes and also for our family to check out the other offerings at the school. The school has fitness programs for men, women and children (such as self defense, dance, piyo, etc.) and it's worth mentioning that many of the classes are sensitive of the needs of Orthodox students. While we are not Jewish/Orthodox, it is heartening to me that a student who is more comfortable with a male or female only teacher/class can choose that, or they can choose a unisex option depending on their comfort level, religious requirements, etc. There's lots of parking and the hours are great, with late hours and weekend hours for people who work/have school. Definitely check out a trial class at this school! The skills learned at Krav magra are not just for show--they are supremely useful for self defense and I think a great option for anyone of any age interested in martial arts.

He not only helped me get started but also gave me the tools and understanding to keep going. Thanks to him, I've built a consistent intermittent fasting routine and have made exercise a regular part of my life again--a huge shift from where I started. Stavros's approach is the perfect blend of supportive, educational, and flexible. He has a deep knowledge of fitness and health, but he shares it in a way that's encouraging, not intimidating. He always met me where I was, recalibrating when my motivation dipped and offering encouragement instead of judgment. He was also incredibly understanding of my schedule and budget, which showed me how much he genuinely cares about his clients' success. Honestly, what I appreciated most was his kindness. He's incredibly easy to talk to and our sessions were about more than just fitness; they were about building a more positive, motivated mindset. I'm ending my sessions with a solid foundation and a much healthier relationship with my own well-being, and I have Stavros to thank for that.

The instructor/owner let us know a few times we should have booked private instruction, I thought because of his back. Class was pretty amazing, again our first time so it kicked our butts. We were obviously the beginners of the group but we tried our best to keep up and I don't believe we slowed the class down. I was feeling pretty good afterwards, it's been a while since I "did a workout" and had that nice endorphin rush; I told her we'd def be back, presumably for private sessions. It's just... on the way out I overheard the instructor greeting students for the next class and what she said just made me not want to return. "Have you done Pilates before?" The girls answered yes. "Oh, thank God! I'm dying..." So, yeah. If you know what you're doing and are going for the routine and equipment, it's a lovely space. If you want to go to a class to learn how to do Pilates, it sounds like this is not really the place for that.
