Love the tennis facility, the tennis teaching staff, and community. Great place for families.

Be careful not to fall for the hard sales pitch for a tennis membership. I tried to rent a tennis court for one hour in order to try out the courts. I was told I had to join in order to reserve the court. The courts were horrible and there was a clinic for young children going on so the noise was outrageous. It was a painful experience to play there. The desk was too busy on my way out and I forgot to end my membership. I had it on automatic pay. I called eventually and was told I had to write and email in order to cancel. I did so, and now I receive another monthly charge. I know I was stupid in signing up in the first place. Just know that this is not a place to play tennis and that there is a hard sales pitch to join. read more

Sportsplex has offered me a tennis community and a place where my kids can learn tennis as well as have a pool year round. I really appreciate the drills and the tennis staff in general have been excellent. read more

I had my son' birthday party there at the indoor swimming pool. It was wonderful!!!! The tables were decorated when I arrived and the party hosts took care of everything. They served the pizza and the cake. Then they did all the clean up. Kids had a blast and it was relaxing for the parents. Thank you to Jackie and the staff!!!!! read more

Booked a drill & play here was very pleased. The trainer is a great guy, the people who play here are all really nice and encouraging. I work in sales, so I know what quality service is. Even though I live in Westchester, I'm more than happy to drive an hour because I know that I'll be dealing with experienced, courteous professionals. The space is very clean, and the clubs location is convenient; no matter where you're coming from in the Lower Hudson Valley. I also found the pricing to be reasonable. TK SP! read more

Both my son and daughter have attended the preschool at Sportsplex. Not only have they learned to swim and play tennis, but their education was top-notch. My son entered Kindergarten WELL ABOVE his grade level thanks primarily to Miss Astrid and Miss Sherry. My daughter is in their inaugural UPK class and has progressed tremendously already (and the year is only a 1/3 of the way through). Her hand writing, letter/number recognition, not to mention her swimming is nothing short of amazing thanks primarily to Miss Sophia and Miss Chandler's dedication to her education. School/swim/tennis is a fun place thanks to her wonderful Coaches (Coach Tom and Coach E) and her incredible teachers from last year that always make her feel welcome and loved (thanks Miss Marissa and Miss Jess!). The entire school wouldn't be what it is without the loving guidance of Miss Danielle, the Director, who is always available for both the parents and the kids. We are so LUCKY to have stumbled upon this wonderful school. Thank you ALL for your ongoing dedication to our children. read more

Definitely a nice gym but staff is extremely rude. I tried to bring my fiancé to check out the gym with the free day pass . One of the head ladies began to say you can only have a day only if you interested in joining gym. How can you possibly know if you're willing to pay almost $100 without actually using gym. And to be honest $80 a month a crazy amount of money for Most people. They completely embarrassed me saying I didn't even pay first month bill in full . So sorry i didn't realize I was being charged early . I'm happy golds gym took me with open arms and there's no kids running around the gym as if it's a toys r us. I would never recommend this gym . Mary that works there has no customer service training and I believe it is the gyms best interest to have their employees take A course in customer service. I've lost 80 lbs and I am very happy I will not reschedule my goal in this gym. The amount of mold in the steam room is astonishing read more

I am a member of Sportsplex and my family celebrated my daughter's 5th Birthday here. Everything was smooth!! Jackie and her team were AMAZING! My Husband and I didn't have to do anything but show up! The facility took care of us and the children. My daughter had so much fun. Everyone was very helpful, caring and polite. I recommend using Sportsplex for your next birthday celebration especially if its for kids. read more

Great place, but aquatic director lacks people skill nor competence to do her job. I can for a birthday party she watched as my daughter hopped in swam the pool then tell her she had to do a swim test. She got tired at the 7ft mark touched the wall then floated on her back all the way back to the end. The incompetent director at that point then said she did not make it all the way that means she can't swim. Mind you all her lifeguard staff is sitting around with shoes, socks and sweats on not sure who they plan on saving. Then my daughter went to the bottom of the 8ft section to pick up all the rings that were tossed to the bottom of the pool with ease but I guess that was not good enough for her. Great event great place needs better leadership. read more

Sportsplex is an excellent place to learn tennis. The tennis professionals here are very well trained and have a long track record of success. They teach all levels of tennis and are very skilled at identifying steps and processes that are individually tailored for your athletic ability and skill level. Additionally, sportsplex offers fantastic exercise classes, swim clinics, cycling, camps and personal training. The yoga classes are amazing and wonderful to take after work or a hard workout. Sportsplex is best tennis facility I have played at which includes clubs ranging up and down the east coast from Florida to Cape Cod. You receive tremendous value for what you pay. read more

I am here for the summer and as of right his moment the staff and facility is just as described in their website. Lots of activities available for the entire family. Loads of group workout classes, gym equipment in tip top shape, area to eat inside and out, swim and tennis lessons, childcare onsite summer camp for kids. I've been members of gyms in New York, Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and Shanghai, China. Most recently I came from LA Fitness in the Bronx. Joining Sportsplex of New Windsor has been a joy. The staff, equipment and classes are all great. I am even rediscovering my passion and love of Tennis thanks to the tennis capacities of the place. My only, and I mean only small compliant is that I wish they would open an additional lap lane in the pool. This is also the first gym I've been to where the weights are actually put back where they belong. read more

My almost four year old has been part of the programming since he was two and I can't advocate enough how wonderful Sportsplex has been for him. Him and his friends are referred to as the three-amigos and are inseparable. His language skills required a speech therapist before he started at Sportsplex and now he speaks better than many of his peers. He has also participated in camp, which he loves. Every weekend he asks if he's going to school and is sad to find out there is no school on weekends. Thanks to Sportsplex, my little ginger baby will be able to swim by himself by the time he graduates the pre-school program. We love Sportsplex, they have become like family. read more

I didn't know whether to give five stars or one star - it depends what you want and are looking for The five-star attributes: Very clean, very well-organized, great staff (friendly and eager to please). The pool and hot tub are great, and the machines are pretty new and varied. There are TONS of them. The place is very family-oriented, with lots of activities and classes for kids. There are also lots of classes of different kinds for adults, and there are attentive personal trainers. There is also childcare. Considering the facilities and personnel, Sportslex is very reasonably priced. The one-star attributes: Almost none of the personal trainers seem to be qualified to work with seniors. It is not OK just to do the same weight-based drills used with younger members. Older bodies have different needs. And the rules pertaining to life vests for children are illogical and dangerous. Sportsplex requires young children to wear a particular kind of jacket that is uncomfortable and NOT certified by the U.S. coastguard as safe for young children. This is a deal-breaker for me, which is very sad. If our family didn't include seniors and young children, I would give Sportsplex a glowing five stars. read more

Great gym! Friendly staff, clean/spacious amenities and good classes. Spin classes can fill up quickly, so reserve a bike ASAP. Other than that the classes draw a good crowd but not one that will leave you 2 inches from the person next to you. It is pricey but definitely holds its value for what you get. Aside from being a gym with many classes, they also offer child care, pre school, swimming lessons/clinics, tennis, a cafe, and much more. There always seems to be an activity going on here during the weekends. Absolutely the best gym in the area. read more

dirty. smelly. crowded. places smells like a dirty pool.. gross, dirty, rusty water drips on your head as you work out or use treadmills and such... water fountain water is absolutely horrid... kids run around unsupervised, yelling & screaming... hours of operation are limited and inconvenient. no selection of healthy foods or drinks.. soda, sugar drinks, chips, candy-bars... ugggg just a gross experience read more

This place is an absolute scam. They charge you an outrageous fee and did not cancel my membership the first time I had asked. I had to go through a series of emails back and forth and called several times. Just for them to take more money for a cancelation fee which wouldn't be processed until 6 months. The place is a money pit I would not reccomend. They're classes are okay but tend to be un-organized. Such a waist of money this place is. Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars on a gym membership don't go here. It will be extreamly difficult to cancel. read more

I love this gym. The Les Mills classes are addicting. The locker rooms are like a high end hotels and my kids love the pool.

Gym is okay but it's way over priced!! The pool isn't even that great and it seems dirty !! Go to golds
