Our children have attended the Goddard School for almost 6 years now and it is the best daycare /…read morepreschool center in the area by far. The teachers have exceeded all expectations between their patience, kindness, knowledge, and overall compassion. Our children have excelled and thrived at such a young age. The teachers have provided such a wonderful, fun, and loving environment where kids can be kids but also learn the tools they need to begin elementary school. Our son went off to kindergarten a year ago and he was fully prepared and actually ahead of other students due to the preparation that Goddard provided. Our daughter is graduating this year and the same goes for her. She is thriving in all areas! Ms. Felecia and Ms. Casey are the absolute best.

I have a family member whose child has attending UMAC for a few years. As someone who has studied…read moreMartial Arts, I can appreciate each Master and their teaching styles. I can also appreciate the engagement that they foster and how they have help to develop confidence and discipline in children as well as adults. The classes are structure to be physical to provide a fitness aspects but also fundamental in growth and learning to teach self awareness, self respect, discipline and spirit. I have been impressed by each Master, the Dojo and the participants behavior during classes. The community and camaraderie that is instilled is impressive. It is such a wholesome and conducive environment. I recently learned that UMAC offers an after school program. This is extremely beneficial to myself as a new parent in the process of adopting. Our child needed after school programs and UMAC came through big. Not only is the after school program reasonably priced, the staff picks the children up at their schools. Upon being in the program, students are helped with homework, given social skill time as well as being allowed to participate in Martial Arts classes. UMAC is beyond helpful in the community as well as being such a positive entity for children's growth and learning outside of typical schooling. I highly recommend checking out the schools and the offerings.

I was interested in providing entertainment for two children. The main focus was the trampolining…read more For an hour they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as I moved between areas and maintained their safety from enthusiastic other children, inappropriate props and poor choices. Overall they had a fantastic time. There was a lot to take part in which we had neither the time nor desire to do so on this visit (skating rink, pickleball, video game arcade, billiards and golf). I appreciated the age segregation as it prevented horseplay from older aged ones from harming younger children. The restrooms seemed far from the play area. It was a great source of entertainment but you have to keep a close eye on small children. My one criticism was that there were props in one of the play areas that were very heavy and could harm someone if they hit someone; they also posed a tripping hazard. They were shaped like a giant Swiss cheese wheel. Bounce is conveniently located in the Galleria Mall, so there is ample free parking.

Just go to fun max. Went on a Saturday morning. Was greeted…read morecoldly and told to go the front desk if I wasn't there for a bday party. Fine, but when I asked where because it was our first time, she just pointed generally. Not a great first impression. Multiple attractions closed. No attendee for mini golf, multiple employees walked by or just informed me I needed to wait (and no indication whether anyone was in their way, etc). Same experience again waiting for roller skates (and again when we realized we were given 2 left skates). Multiple employees had no idea what the "all day pass" was and kept asking me to buy additional tickets to things. Laser tag was running but we weren't allowed to go just the two of us - needed to wait for a bday party. (Shout out to the laser tag attendee tho - he was very kind). $10 arcade card was empty (they rectified it, but annoying to have to wait again). Arcade games ate credits or didn't have balls/etc to actually play. So many staffing/operational breakdowns, just not worth it.

I've been wanting an adult ballet class since I officially 'grew up' and it took me until 40 years…read moreold to finally find this studio - and I'm so glad that I did! Not only does it hold true to the name 'beginner' class (others I tried were false advertising) but the whole class itself was exactly what I wanted, and my body needed. The owner Heidi is phenomenal and so patient with everyone who attends- she has a true teachers heart and the talent of a professional athlete / dancer. Taking a fitness class from anyone can be made or broken by the leadership and you won't be disappointed by the experience here. I can't wait to keep attending and continuing to be (finally) excited to move in a workout!!

The space is so beautiful and the people are so incredibly welcoming, students of all ages, bodies, and backgrounds come there and everyone is welcome! There is no judgement from anyone there, so even as a beginner I always felt safe. The space is always clean and the skylights in the studio space are so unique and beautiful! I've taken classes with a few teachers and they've all been great, but my personal favorite is Andrea so I will speak more so about her classes. I take Andrea's morning classes on Tuesdays and Fridays and I always have the BEST time! She is so knowledgeable and such a talented teacher, you can tell she really loves the practice of yoga. Andrea is thorough, patient, kind, and makes class both challenging and super fun! No matter if you're a beginner or more advanced, she is the teacher for you. She knows how to make adjustments and modifications for every pose based on your skill level, so everyone can thrive even if there's many different student levels in the same class. She's so uplifting and encouraging to everyone, it's definitely always the type of class that you always leave feeling great about. 10/10 I recommend grassroots. I'm moving away soon and I will miss it dearly. Best spot in the Hudson valley for yoga and wellness!
