This is a good option for beginners and if you just want to start climbing and not worry about learning belaying. Anna was so supportive and helpful. The staff member helping you really does make or break the experience. We were given the harness to step into as well as shoes that should fit snugly. Then we started at the beginner wall to get our feet wet. We moved on to a few other walls, one with an automatic belay. The climbs are marked by difficulty level so a 5.8 is harder than a 5.5, for example, based on ease, size of the holds. You follow the color of your climb basically. We all got a good workout. An hour is good because you need to rest in between climbs usually. Perhaps the instruction option for 5 people would give you more techniques but this was fine for us. The space isn't that big but we didn't feel cramped. However if it was crowded you probably would have to wait. But no problems today on a Sunday at 11:30 am. If you have workout gloves they'd probably help with callouses on the hands. We didn't try the regular free climbs. There's cubbies to put your shoes and bags and lockers in the bathroom if you have a lock. I wouldn't want to bring anything valuable in there because there's a lot going on and someone intent on mischief could have a field day... hopefully not though! They seem to offer membership options and events. No issues parking. I would come back!

Safety is #1 here, the paperwork as a first timer and the orientation was *extensive*, so carve out 10 minutes for that. They do test you on belay abilities before they let you belay someone, which includes tying knots to the harness and carabiners. If you don't pass, you can't belay someone else but you can still use the self pulley belays. There are spots to chill and regain grip strength, and the gym is pretty clean. Staff were helpful. One star less because they do not have half sizes for shoes. It motivates you to get your own but for those just getting into this sport and wanting to keep the investment to a minimum until you decide, it's not comfortable. It's a gym in the area so I'll take it. I went for a holiday deal for the day pass was $16 and shoes were $4, and they do charge for rental chalk. I honestly wouldn't go for any other pricing, so I'll be looking out for the deals to return again.

We've…read moremade quite a list of good playgrounds in the tri-state area, but one of our absolute favorites is Julie's Jungle in Hopewell Junction, New York. Inceptioned in 2012, the playground was named after Julie Keating. Young Julie was afflicted with both physical and cognitive disabilities and was often unable to join in on the fun at her local park. She tragically passed away in 2007 at the age of 15. Her younger sister Natalie later wrote a letter to the East Fishkill recreation committee asking them to build a handicapped-accessible playground. The town accepted the proposal. Phase I of the playground opened in 2016 and Phase II was completed in 2018. Julie's Jungle was the first fully accessible playground built in Dutchess County. It was built for children of all abilities to play and learn together. It's equipped with accessible routes and paths throughout, ramps, spacious decks, short stair heights, Braille play panels, and even a sensory garden. Whenever my family and I are passing through the area, we always make a point to stop at Julie's Jungle. Both of my sons love playing here. They have so much fun that our visits seem to end in the blink of an eye. We wish that more playgrounds were like this. FUN FACT: For those parents like me who enjoy good craft beer and wood-fired pizza, Sloop Brewing Company is just a three-minute drive away!

The teachers have provided such a wonderful, fun, and loving environment where kids can be kids but also learn the tools they need to begin elementary school. Our son went off to kindergarten a year ago and he was fully prepared and actually ahead of other students due to the preparation that Goddard provided. Our daughter is graduating this year and the same goes for her. She is thriving in all areas! Ms. Felecia and Ms. Casey are the absolute best.

At the end of every dance night, I feel super charged with energy, realizing that I could have danced all night, because the energy I feel from the enthusiastic crowd is amazing. My partner and I had never danced together before, really, and my partner sort of always shied away from dancing in general. Anyhow we are having a small adventure reception but wanted a polished dance. I absolutely love dancing and it is just so fun. So we looked them up and did an initial drop in dance "class". It was absolutely great - they asked us a few questions, helped us pick out our song and showed us a few simple moves to get us started. That first hour blew by and blew our minds and what a great opportunity this would be. Initially my partner didn't want a whole choreographed show but after that first lesson and understanding Linda & Chester's style in choreography we decided to buy the choreography package! Although we haven't had our reception yet we are absolutely blown away by the lessons we have taken over the last couple of months with them. The ease and clarity of the choreography which is designed each step of the way to match our abilities and style is great! Plus they had no issues at all with us having our baby in tow - who's favorite time during our lessons was spinning around the room! We have one final lesson left before our big send off but we are over the moon about our experience with Linda and Chester and can't wait for their social dances to pick back up so we can attend! Additionally, we have even talked about just continuing to do some dance lessons every now and then as drop-ins even after our event to just keep it going! Couldn't recommend them enough!

Overall they had a fantastic time. There was a lot to take part in which we had neither the time nor desire to do so on this visit (skating rink, pickleball, video game arcade, billiards and golf). I appreciated the age segregation as it prevented horseplay from older aged ones from harming younger children. The restrooms seemed far from the play area. It was a great source of entertainment but you have to keep a close eye on small children. My one criticism was that there were props in one of the play areas that were very heavy and could harm someone if they hit someone; they also posed a tripping hazard. They were shaped like a giant Swiss cheese wheel. Bounce is conveniently located in the Galleria Mall, so there is ample free parking.

(Shout out to the laser tag attendee tho - he was very kind). $10 arcade card was empty (they rectified it, but annoying to have to wait again). Arcade games ate credits or didn't have balls/etc to actually play. So many staffing/operational breakdowns, just not worth it.
