While I personally don't interact with them directly, her distress caught my attention. Despite her typically social nature, she felt ignored when trying to greet the instructors before class. The only warm welcome seemed to happen at the start of the class, which, in my opinion, doesn't feel very welcoming. I've also received some nit-picky comments about my daughter's behavior, like 'she doesn't like to share' or 'she didn't listen in class,' and given her age, I expect some of these behaviors. Moreover, in instances where my daughter was crying during class, the teachers didn't address or try to soothe her. I had to physically remove her to calm her down. There was even a class where a girl pulled my daughter's hair, and the teacher scolded her for pushing back, which seemed unfair. After my daughter started yelling, I decided it was the last straw and chose to withdraw her from the course.

Tumble Jungle is the perfect place for us. We have a monthly membership and attend the morning "Baboons" class almost every day. It's free play followed by some structured activities. My son has really come out of his shell and is learning so much. The instructors Isabel and Andrea are also fantastic and so good with the kids. Truly recommend this place. I'm going to miss it when I have to go back to work but I know our nanny will continue to bring my son and eventually my daughter as well!

Trial class scared the child as there were no accommodations to welcome or educate on the routine. Fear developed quickly so a second attempt a week later was scheduled in hopes it was an anomaly but it wasn't. Things went from bad to worse. Office staff wanted to charge us as a second trial visit which was fine but they were ignoring the trauma in development and the submitted paperwork of enrollment (showing clear commitment but reticent due to 3 yr old reaction. We got through that, then there was the inflexibly and insensitive approach yet again as our daughter walked into the gym space. Less than 5 minutes and tears were like a river!!! We tried to dork out an option to arrive 15 minutes early in hopes to get a "show and tell" of the environment but the front desk were so closed minded even that wasn't an option. Brave Bright Theater Kids has exceeded my expectations!…read more Ever since my 4 year old daughter (just turned 5) could walk, she has loved performing whether dancing, singing, or just playing make-believe. People always told me to get her into ballet or gymnastics (the typical little girl stuff) but I wanted her to have fun and not be locked into any specific activity for 5 months with the pressure of a "recital" or "routine" or "performance" at the end. I know my daughter and her interests and wanted a class to help her to explore her creativity as well as expand on the skills she already has. Thankfully, I found Brave Bright Theater Kids! Ms. Nicole (owner/instructor) has such a warm, welcoming and child-friendly personality. The moment you walk in the door, you know your child is in a safe and positive environment. We tried out a trial class to see if it was a good fit and it definitely was. I love the variety of skills Ms. Nicole helps to develop in the children. She teaches tongue twisters, new songs and dance moves, yoga, and creative games and has the children perform make-believe and improvisational activities. I really like that she doesn't tell the children what to do, she encourages them to create an idea or scenario and allows them to make it up as they go along. And it's all imagination, no script and no props! She provides the children an opportunity to perform in front of the class with the safety that if they choose not to, that it is perfectly okay, and if they do, they have the support of the small class of friends. After the first class, I didn't even need to ask my daughter what she learned because she just started singing the "Hello, hello, hello" song which begins every class and told me all about what she pretended to be and sang another song she learned and couldn't stop talking about the class. The week continued with her talking about and performing what she had learned the first class. After the second class and so on, she continued with the enthusiasm and she'll be starting her third session with Ms. Nicole. At the end of every class, Ms. Nicole gives each child a treat of some sort (a sticker, a chocolate, etc.) with a word of encouragement and personally provides parents with an update of what or how their child did in class. This class is a great experience for young children who love to perform without the stress of memorizing and practicing week after week for a big performance at the end. My daughter has gained confidence, has made new friends, and is able to be creative and be herself in a positive and safe environment. Brave Bright Theater Kids has exceeded my expectations!
