Our daughter has learned and grown so much from these instructors in just half a year. The studio is clean, well taken care of, decorated nicely and nicely maintained. We like that the classes are a full hour and there are a variety of activities so that it is not the same redundant class each week. They vary from working on the balance beams, bars, floor and trampolines. They are also very flexible if you miss a class and let you make it up by attending their open gym sessions on Friday evenings, so that makes it very convenient for us. We can't wait to continue on at Kinetic Kids for many years to come. If you are looking to enroll your child in gymnastics, we highly recommend this place!

I saw Thrillz Atlanta advertised on social media and was genuinely excited to bring my son there…read morefor his birthday with some of our family and friends. Unfortunately, after our experience, I feel like there are several operational and safety issues that need to be addressed. About a week before our visit, I started seeing posts on social media showing extremely long lines. I initially considered booking a birthday party, but since I didn't have 10 kids, I felt like paying for a full party package would be a waste of money. Instead, a few days before our visit, I went online and made a prepaid reservation for 12:00 p.m, including spectator passes. We arrived around 11:40 a.m., which was 20 minutes before our reservation. Despite having a reservation, we did not make it to the check-in counter until approximately 12:35 p.m. What really bothered me was that when we finally checked in, our time was started based on our original 12:00 reservation time. We had paid for 120 minutes, yet through no fault of our own, we had already lost a significant portion of that time standing in their check-in line. I felt cheated out of something I had already paid for. I do want to make it clear that the employee who checked us in was nice, efficient, and patient with everyone. I had absolutely no complaint about her. In fact, throughout our visit, most of the employees we encountered were pleasant. My issue is with the overall operation, organization, and setup of the facility. The parking situation was the first indication of the problems. The parking lot does not appear large enough to accommodate the number of people this facility attracts, especially when other functions are taking place in the area. It was extremely congested just trying to get into the parking lot. The reservation system also did not make sense to me. According to the website, a reservation was required, yet when we arrived there were two lines--one for reservations and another for walk-ins. Even the reservation line was extremely long. If customers have prepaid reservations for specific times, there should be a more efficient process to get those customers checked in so they are not losing time they have already paid for. The stickers were another issue. The stickers placed on us came off extremely easily. I repeatedly had to pick them up from the floor and make sure the children still had theirs on. I repeatedly had to pick them up from the floor and make sure the children still had theirs on. The raffle-style tickets being used for laser tag also need to be reconsidered. Those tickets are flimsy, easy to lose, and are the same type of tickets that can easily be purchased online. How are children expected to keep up with a small paper ticket while they are jumping, playing, going down slides, and getting on rides? We were also given cards that were supposed to be stamped for each ride. However, the facility was so busy and the staff appeared so overwhelmed that our cards were not stamped most of the time. If the card is being used to control or track ride access, there needs to be a better system and enough employees to consistently enforce it. One situation in particular really bothered me. I was standing in line with the children in my group waiting for a ride when a staff member brought two people to the front and allowed them to go ahead of everyone who had been waiting. One of the children with me was even asked to get off because the seat was needed for someone else on the Grave Digger ride. When I asked what was going on, I was told they had paid for a party and had "paid a lot of money." I responded that I had spent a lot of money too. My group consisted of 8 adults, 7 children, and 2 babies under the age of 2, and by that point I had spent well over $1,000 on this birthday outing. I ultimately had my group get off the ride because I wanted them to be able to ride together. That made the situation even more disorganized because the employee then had to get my people back off, allow several other people in line to ride, and then put my group back on so they could ride together. It held everything up unnecessarily. he food and dining area were another issue. The food line seemed to be going in every direction, and there was no organized waiting area. After ordering, it took approximately 25 minutes to receive our food. At one point, the register system went down, so employees had to begin emailing receipts. People were everywhere in the dining area, and the entire setup felt chaotic and overcrowded.

Brave Bright Theater Kids has exceeded my expectations!…read more Ever since my 4 year old daughter (just turned 5) could walk, she has loved performing whether dancing, singing, or just playing make-believe. People always told me to get her into ballet or gymnastics (the typical little girl stuff) but I wanted her to have fun and not be locked into any specific activity for 5 months with the pressure of a "recital" or "routine" or "performance" at the end. I know my daughter and her interests and wanted a class to help her to explore her creativity as well as expand on the skills she already has. Thankfully, I found Brave Bright Theater Kids! Ms. Nicole (owner/instructor) has such a warm, welcoming and child-friendly personality. The moment you walk in the door, you know your child is in a safe and positive environment. We tried out a trial class to see if it was a good fit and it definitely was. I love the variety of skills Ms. Nicole helps to develop in the children. She teaches tongue twisters, new songs and dance moves, yoga, and creative games and has the children perform make-believe and improvisational activities. I really like that she doesn't tell the children what to do, she encourages them to create an idea or scenario and allows them to make it up as they go along. And it's all imagination, no script and no props! She provides the children an opportunity to perform in front of the class with the safety that if they choose not to, that it is perfectly okay, and if they do, they have the support of the small class of friends. After the first class, I didn't even need to ask my daughter what she learned because she just started singing the "Hello, hello, hello" song which begins every class and told me all about what she pretended to be and sang another song she learned and couldn't stop talking about the class. The week continued with her talking about and performing what she had learned the first class. After the second class and so on, she continued with the enthusiasm and she'll be starting her third session with Ms. Nicole. At the end of every class, Ms. Nicole gives each child a treat of some sort (a sticker, a chocolate, etc.) with a word of encouragement and personally provides parents with an update of what or how their child did in class. This class is a great experience for young children who love to perform without the stress of memorizing and practicing week after week for a big performance at the end. My daughter has gained confidence, has made new friends, and is able to be creative and be herself in a positive and safe environment. Brave Bright Theater Kids has exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Ms. Nicole

The parent and tot classes here are great. My child has learned a lot from this program, and so…read morehave I. This school teaches both parent and tot how to build on the skills being taught. The school itself is flexible with the schedule and if you miss a class you can easily get back in the same week by communicating with the front desk. The class does take place in an open gymnastics warehouse, so if you're not used to other classes happening at once -this is normal for these type of environments. Classes are typically small 2-8 kids, but sometimes they can be a bit crowded due to weather conditions for example up coming snowstorm etc. These type of environments do require you as a parent to communicate your needs more, so if you're not comfortable with doing something or do not know what to do, it's best you ask the coach for support. The coach's are very helpful, and great with kids. They typically walk around the class to help but they also stand by stations within the obstacles that need the most assistance with mastering a skill. When it comes to gymnastics and this age group, you get what you as a parent put in. They require a lot of practice outside of class not just inside the classroom if you really want them to excel. One class a week is good but practice makes perfect and it takes time to get used to the routines being taught. As a former acrobat I approve of this school and program. Coaches have technical knowledge and know how to safely spot.

But based on our limited experience here with two children of different ages and genders, we really like this place. Class sizes are small. We've found Nastia to be excellent at engaging the very young children. Our kids always walk away happy, with the littlest one telling us unprompted that, "I love gymnastics!" Our older child comes out of his "ninja / parkour" class very sweaty, very happy, and very braggy about all his exploits. Two ringing endorsements from those in the know. There's a small play area by the front desk, which we think is a very thoughtful touch. We like the windows in the back and in the front, where we can spy on our kids and chuckle at our older one doing the worm -- or pushups as he calls them. (It'd be even better if they had one-way glass, but that's a minor nitpick.) Other than us, the parents there seem normal / fine.
