Our tour guide, Lucas, was exceptional. Hands-down, the best we've had at any college visit experience so far. I enjoyed the feel of the main campus, the quintessential quad that lies between the buildings, it was impressed with many of the facilities, especially the dining hall What was disappointing was the division between the main campus and the west side campus which took us over 20 minutes by car to visit after the conclusion of our tour Really great experience as a visitor, we'll see how the admissions process ends up glad we went

Their DNP program is new as of August 2022 and has been a disaster. It is an accelerated program…read morewith courses over Christmas, ten credits in the summer intercessions in the 2nd year, only 5 weeks allotted for 90 clinical hours, and a bit expensive. Each course is only offered every year and a half, there is no flexibility to take courses as your work/family situation allows. At times the clinical hours exceed what most employers would give for PTO. I was able to find non-profit work that could be done from home, but actual clinical sites are difficult to find and they provide little support, often unclear expectations, and had to bring in other faculty from other schools to help them. At times, assignments were not accepted on the last day of the semester, causing great hardship in completing over short breaks before the next semester. I can not recommend this program until it becomes more established as their other programs and more flexible for the working nurse practitioner.

The direction provided by the staff is very helpful and they are so kind and friendly. The projects are so personalized and there's so many ways to make it your own. I really enjoyed my time and would love to come back and do more projects. Very hands on, yet fun. You can also bring your own drinks or snacks!

The main board you get is usually very big so we were bumping into each other a lot. Then when it came to drying there was only a small space where a fan could fit and all the boards crammed there (aka, mine didn't dry much). Basically this location is really small which makes it really loud! This doesn't have to do with this location but the company chooses way too small of fonts and images sometimes that it's basically impossible to peel. Then the blue adhesive side doesn't stick well to the stained wood. Therefore, my paint work always looks messy. I heard If you do like a white wash over the stain it sticks better? But I don't always like the look of it. They need to have thicker lettering and stronger adhesive! Still it's a fun activity to do with friends!

With summer ending, I wanted to write my experience with Hudson Country Montessori School…read more As a mom of a 3 and 2 year old, who went through the pandemic and had trust issues with daycares or "strangers" caring for my kids, I can't thank HCMS enough for the amount of peace and reassurance they've given me. Everyone there is just absolutely lovely and such beautiful people. They have shown my children so much love and care. My daughter is a Velcro baby, meaning she's a literal baby koala. I can't thank Alexa, Rose, and Renee, in the infant room, enough for holding her when she wanted to be held, as long as she wanted. She then moved up to the waddler room, with new teachers, but they are as amazing as the infant room teachers. Sara, Susan, Chelsea, and Rebecca are literal angels. I just can't thank them enough for everything they've done for my daughter and us. They took such great care of her this past year. My son started in the toddler 2 room with Ms Mimi, Graciela, and Kristie. We absolutely love them! They're all such sweethearts! Ms Mimi is so good with the kids! She knows exactly how to take control of her class, which are all toddlers! Touché to her! Ms Mimi is also so loving and caring. I really couldn't have asked for a better school for my children. They've learned so much while being there and they've made such amazing friends and connections. I also love their security! It's gated, and you need a special passcode to enter the school. Although my children have only had the teachers listed above, everyone in that building is so friendly and welcoming. Ms Carmela is in charge of the toddler program, and she is just so amazing. She takes her time to meet families and hears any concerns you may have. If HCMS was on your list of schools to check out, go with it! You won't regret ever enrolling your kids there. It's a real Montessori school, filled with loving, hardworking, respectful teachers. You'll really see your children bloom into such smart, independent, loving, little people.

Stars are Zero!…read more The financial aid woman is rude. She tells me, the mother with a masters degree I do not know how to do my daughters financial aid. Kept my mouth shut for my kid. THEN right before start time, she calls because there is a problem with financial aid application that she did. Yup. So, I told her as she was once again rude that she is difficult. She told me that I don't feel that way. I then spoke with director who was slobbing on food in my ear on the phone. I asked for anyone else to speak to because she gave my daughter an issue prior to my call. Although I explained it was not about the person not being able to tell me my 18 year old's personal information, it was about her being abrasive. Her only reply was that they could not discuss the personal information. Ends up, this so called director (or budget director) is owner's daughter. My daughter made the wise choice to avoid the school since she would have to deal with this horrid woman and not be heard by anyone with issues. Not even Daddy's daughter would listen. Also have massage students work with people that come in and are charged. The students do not receive any of the funds from their work, the school keeps all the funds. School charges students $20,000 to complete course. Over charging for tools, such as massage tables and books. Same quality items available half price outside of school. Unprofessional in many ways. My child deserves a better education and treatment while attending. Also not doing so well with enrollment. Wonder why!
