Horrible Service I asked for coffin shaped nails the nail tech was rude when I explained that the shape was incorrect. I then asked for the manager who came over and I showed him that the style was not what I asked for he informed me that all the nail could do is cut them down to square shape I said that was fine. The nail then took it upon himself to cut my nails very short and polish them. I showed the manager what was done and he said so what you still have to pay.

    Very rushed

Very rushed Had to ask her to redo the sticker on my nail multiple times due to her rushing though placing it poorly and completely off center, she used the drill to remove the sticker and left my nail this shape. Every time I asked her to do something kindly she had an attitude and yelled across the shop to her co workers. Not attentive at all.

I love this place have had a couple hiccups in the beginning. But now they know how i like my nails no more issues. They are a bit expensive but I can say my full sets last me at least 2 weeks if I'm too busy to go in constantly. So it's really worth it to me. Love the cleanliness. Not a fan of the wait.

I'm from California and i came here free performance at Aretha Franklin Park. This place is horrible. What i asked for verses what I got is the problem. I asked for a coffin shape nails and they gave me bulky and square. At first the lady was telling me she couldn't do it and i said they do it in California. She kept trying to make me get tips when my nails were long enough. Then i asked for ombré glitter. I wasted money and you shouldn't.

I decided to try this place out despite the reviews but it was probably one of the sloppiest, roughest, and the most rushed nail job I've ever had. I had dried up acrylic on my fingers and the nail wasn't fully painted. I won't go back!

A friend and I needed to get our nails done last minute and pretty quickly. They took care of us right away and did a very efficient and nice work. Technicians were friendly and clean. Overall our experience was really really nice. :)

But the salon is incredibly clean, everyone is so kind, and they immediately offer you water, tea, soda, really whatever you need. After my pedicure, I sat at the drying station for a while and went on with my day. That night I realized I had somehow messed up two of my toes (which were incredibly done). I left them a message and they got me back in the very next day to fix them, no charge. Just genuinely kind people and great customer service. Clean, nice, accommodating. Exactly the kind of place you want to come back to.

I tried this nail salon looking at the ratings and tried two different nail techs, two separate times. Same results. Both times the nail techs put the dip on SO thick that multiple nails broke both times. Like I said this has never happened and happened twice to me here. The ambiance is nice but ambiance does not = quality. Also they are insanely expensive. It is cheaper to get you nails done in Los Angeles. My nail tech there jokingly said he is going to move to Michigan because they charge about $30 more AND for less quality. Go figure ‍

I signed in and waited about 15 minutes before being seated which was perfectly reasonable. They even offered me a drink while I waited which was a nice touch. My technician Kim was fantastic. I chose the jelly pedicure and she took her time worked gently and made the whole experience relaxing. She was friendly and really made sure I felt taken care of. The salon itself is spotless and well kept with a calm atmosphere. It was not crowded at all during my visit. Another big plus is that they have dedicated parking spots in the back which makes getting in and out super easy. Overall King Nail Salon delivered a great experience clean welcoming and professional. I will definitely be back for another pedicure soon.

a minute ago New…read moreUpdate: After posting my review, the owner called my personal phone number to question me about why I left a review for a service I had not received. I found this extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable. I had provided my phone number because I was calling the business to inquire about their services; I did not expect that number to be used to personally confront me about a Google review. To be clear, my review was about my experience interacting with the business, the information I was given about the service, and my decision not to book based on that information. Customers should be able to provide feedback about their experience communicating with a business, including concerns about pricing and whether a service meets their needs, without being personally called and challenged by the owner. The phone call actually reinforced my decision not to patronize this business. I was already uncomfortable with the pricing and service structure, and being contacted afterward made the experience even more unpleasant. I am sharing this because other potential customers should know what happened when I simply asked questions, expressed my concerns, and decided not to book. I called to ask about the hair spa service because I was interested in booking. The service is $125, and I was told that the "hair dry" included in that price simply consists of sitting under a dryer. If I wanted my hair blow-dried, that would be an additional $60. As a Black woman with textured hair, I honestly don't feel that this is very inclusive. Sitting under a dryer with my hair loose is not going to leave my hair dry, stretched, and manageable. My hair would likely be extremely shrunken and difficult to work with afterward. I would need the blow-dry in order for my hair to actually be in a manageable state. I completely understand charging for additional services, but I don't think it's unreasonable to question a pricing structure where the standard drying method works for some hair types but doesn't provide the same practical result for others. For me, that turns a $125 service into a $185 service simply because of what my hair requires to be properly dried and manageable. I'm not writing this to bash the business or accuse anyone of intentionally discriminating against Black women. I'm sharing my perspective because I think businesses offering hair services should consider whether their services are genuinely accommodating to different hair textures. I was really interested in trying this experience, but an additional $60 just to have my hair properly dried makes me feel like the service isn't designed with women like me in mind.
