Came to get a pedicure at 5:30 on a Wednesday and all the doors are locked, nobody is answering phones but online says they're open till 7

Nice place with great products, but the lady who did the pedicures seems to be a Debbie Downer.

Nightmare "haircut" from Tricia. First time here and wasn't even greeted by her and had to confirm "Tricia?" as didn't even offer her name when she appeared. Seems very unhappy to be there. Asked for layered cut and had several photos. What I've since learned is never use thinning shears at scalp. I lost a ton of hair and now have tiny ones sticking straight up amongst long ones that feel and look damaged. No layers just this mess. Only fix is boy pixie to grow this out. Wish I would have trusted my gut and left when the vibes at meeting her were so awful. My hair reflects this too. read more

Sarah E. at Beautyworx is AMAZING. My mom, grandma, and I all started going to Sarah after we read really good yelp reviews about her. I could go on forever about how incredible she is. But I'll just say she worked a miracle on my hair that I ruined (during her after hours just so I didn't have to go around with awful hair). She's the only one who's given me trims that are honestly just a TRIM, and not 4 inches off. She's the best hairstylist my family has ever been to & for an incredibly reasonable price. If you can get an appointment with her, you'll have the best hair, I guarantee! She's also the sweetest ever & the front desk staff and owner are also super kind & a clean place read more

Krissy is my stylist. She has been my stylist since 2010. Finding her has been a God send. I have been to many stylist and she is by far the only person that has been able to work with my very curly head of hair. She knew how to style it to make me feel confident to wear it down or straight. All the ladies in the salon are really friendly. The salon is clean and decorated beautiful. Couldn't ask for a better salon. I'd recommend this salon and Krissy to handle any and all hair styles.. Also the nail salon is nicely done and you can get a great Mani/pedi all in one shop! Can't ask for more! read more

Sarah Elstro has been doing my hair for years and I highly recommend her! Even since relocating to California, she's still the only only I will let cut or color my hair, so I see her every time I'm in town. Krissy is an amazing hairstylist. My favorite thing to do is just let Krissy go with what she's feeling for my hair and I've never been disappointed. I can be having a day where nothing fits right, my skin is bad, but catch a glimpse of my hair and think "Well at least I have pretty hair!" Prettiness all thanks to Krissy (because you know it was in a pony that day). Krissy's passion is evident in her work resulting in phenomenal hair. Not only is she passionate about styling, she loves a challenge, if you got a little over confident with the do it yourself kits - come see her, she will fix you up. On top of her rockstar hairstyling, she is one of the most genuine, friendly, and caring people you will ever meet. Aside from my personal experience with Krissy doing my hair, I know she and Marie keep an all star team of stylists in the salon ready to rock. I've seen many many awesome styles and happy clients leaving the salon! read more

Once again BeautyWorx and Sarah did not fail me. I honestly can't stop raving how great of a place this is. The atmosphere is amazing. Customer service is first class 100% of the time. You walk in and just feel the positive vibes reeking through the whole building. Scheduling is always a breeze. The interaction of everyone from the receptionist, hair stylist, nail technicians, to owners are just wonderful. Smiles from ear to ear. And such a welcoming vibe. I went to see Sarah and I am just in love with her personality. Very caring, attentive, profesional, and knowledgeable. When I sit in her chair it's game time. First we go over a plan. What I would like my hair to look like, she gives me her profesional opinion, we talk it over and decide. From there it's a wonderful process. Sarah is dedicated and a hard worker. My hair (was) super long way past my butt. Also my hair is very thick and curly. So it's hard to work with my hair. Sarah was so amazing to be so patient to work on my hair. I received a total transformation! If you don't believe me just look at my pictures. I really recommend this place you can't go wrong. Take it from the girl that was petrified to step in a hair salon. Lastly, I want to add that I am 100% confident in Sarah's abilities that in my 15 years of not cutting my hair (due to a hair cut as a child) I finally decided to cut my hair. It's the best feeling in this AZ hot weather. read more

Very friendly staff; however, they did a horrible job on waxing my eyebrows and I was still required to pay for something I did not like and they could not fix. I will never return. read more

I received the best pedicure I've ever had in my entire life today with Maya! She has magic hands, she gives the best massages hands down! I had to start with that tidbit of information, but I also had a fantastic manicure and eyebrow wax. Unlike most pedicures, where they give you the "obligatory" foot massage with the lotion, where they ruin it - asking if you want to pay more for 5 minutes instead of just letting you relax, Maya loves to make sure you have the best possible experience! She massages during the scrub, the lotion, and wherever she notices you are holding tension. She doesn't turn on a timer and watch it tick, she checks in with you to make sure you are doing okay and at the end of it your feet look and feel amazing! You might miss this place as it is tucked in a shopping center, but once you walk inside, it's an oasis of beauty and relaxation. Everyone who works there is really sweet and they just want to make sure you taken care of, it's kind of like the Cheers of nail salons, everyone knows everyone and if you are new, they will go out of their way to make sure you feel like it's your home too. read more

Under new ownership after a few rocky years (original owner passed away last year). Very friendly salon with excellent staff.

I love Beautyworx! The salon itself is adorable. They remodeled the salon, and it looks amazing. The location is awesome too, right next to AJ's/Starbucks if you're needing something to eat/drink. My hair always looks good, thanks to my hair stylist Krissy Moore. You want to look good? Go see her. She is also an awesome person, and if you need to let it all out she will listen and will make you feel and look so good once you leave. She is one of my favorite people on this planet and has been there for me through some rough and good times. She will listen to what you want, give her opinion, and you will always leave looking way hot! I've been to see Krissy and had great results with haircuts. My mistake was going to another stylist when Krissy was on vacation. The results with another stylist was terrible, She butchered my hair. I left with a Liza Minelli haircut. i merely asked for my hair to be thinned out (very think hair). I mentioned throughout the cut that i though it was going to be too short. The stylist assured me it would be fine because she was cutting from the bottom up. In the end, i could barely contain my tears. It was friday and i never left my house out of sheer embarrassment. I even called out of work for 3 days due to the disaster. read more

Sarah E. is amazing. I had about 5 inches cut off of my thick, curly hair and love the hair cut she gave me. She did an awesome job!! Thanks Sarah!! read more
