As someone who doesn't have much of an eyelid crease, eyelash extensions tend to look extremely dramatic on me but sometimes I'd just rather not deal with eyelash glue and eyelash strips.. Decided to give eyelash extensions another chance and booked with Daren via her website. Website is user friendly. Her current promo is 50% off classic for new clients! This is actually what got me to give extensions another chance because I didn't want to spend a fortune in case I didn't like how they turned out. My 1st session: session was soothing, I fell asleep LOL. My lashes didn't fall out drastically afterwards. I kept them dry for 48hrs and also kept up with cleaning and care. Booked my fill appointment exactly 2 weeks after. I was fine with the amount of lashes leftover by this time and will probably go on 2.5/3 weeks before my next appointment. She also gave me a care package which had a brush and 2 referral cards so I can share them with my family and friends! My 2nd session (2 week fill): Daren asked how I liked my lashes, and if I wanted to make any changes to them (ie: longer, curlier, etc). I felt like I could be honest with her throughout the session and wouldn't have to say "yeah that's fine" and walk away wishing I could've said something else about my lashes. Daren's place is inside a beauty salon. Her place is small, clean, and very homey. She has mints and bottled water available! This review is for lash extensions. I've gotten my lashes done and filled so many times I have lost count. However, this was my first time getting extensions at Beautyholic. I made an appointment a few weeks out with Daren for a weekday at 4pm. I was glad she texted me all the information I needed to get the process going quickly as a new client. I also liked that she texted me the address ahead of time too so that I didn't have issues finding the salon. FYI, they do not have a sign that says Beautyholic yet. You will just have to look for the suite in the strip mall. Once I arrived, I was told to wait for a little bit while she finished with another client. I probably waited about 10 minutes and she was ready for me. They have a private room for lash extensions that was super comfortable and relaxing. Daren asked me how I wanted my lashes first before we begin. She was faster than any other lash artist I have ever had. I was happy with them. They are a little shorter than I am usually use to but they are perfect for my lifestyle. I am glad I found a lash extension place nearby and would recommend to anyone. read more

Not satisfied with end results. There were too many gaps in my Eyelashes. I was moving a lot so she couldn't fill all my Eyelashes, but she could have rescheduled me for another day. But instead she blamed me for Moving too much and then said she will charge me $35 more on top of the $90 I paid her. If the jobs not complete you shouldn't take full money for it. Or at least be considerate and finish it completely some other time. She had another appointment so she wanted to get rid of Me. I even text her right after I left. I paid $90 for and incomplete job, and the lashes are already falling off. I do not recommend her unless she changes her ways and completes her work for the full amount she's charging. This review is long overdue. I first came to Daren to get a lash lift and tint which I was extremely satisfied with. The process felt fast and gentle. Daren made me feel comfortable and even put soothing music to help me relax. While she was doing the lash lift, she complemented me on my eyebrows and their shape and suggested I would be a great fit for ombré brows (one of the permanent makeup services she offers). I was extremely hesitant because honestly the idea of getting permanent makeup scared me. But she reassured me and gave me more information about it as well as answered any questions I had. At that time she was having a special, so I went home with my lash lift to think about it and even spoke to my mom about it to see what her thoughts were. Surprisingly, my mom was supportive and encouraging about it so I ended up booking an appointment a couple of days later for her ombré brows service. I was also super particular with my eyebrow shape in which she encouraged me to come in with my brows drawn to my liking. From that, she shaped them to be more symmetrical and natural looking based on how I had them shaped. Before she started the procedure, she showed me the needles she would be using and showed them being in an unopened sterile package. During the procedure, she first outlined the brows before applying the numbing ointment. I felt absolutely no pain during the outlining, if anything, I felt more pain when she applied the numbing ointment due to having already outlined them. From there, she let the numbing cream take effect and started the filling process. Be prepared to be there for about 2-3 hours. During the procedure she kept asking me how I was doing and if the numbing cream was wearing off (so she could apply more) and really made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Fair warning, at the end of the procedure you're eyebrows will look bold and dark, but it's absolutely normal, part of the process, and expected because as the eyebrows heal, the pigment is absorbed into your skin. With the ombré brows, a follow up retouch is included and may or may not be needed. In my case, I needed it to secure more of the pigment into my skin. After the healing process my eyebrows have never looked better and I've received so many compliments. I did get a 9 wk - 12 month touch up to darken them up a bit back in March and my brows continue to look great! Lastly, I have also done the lash extension service with her and have tried her signature and classic sets. I was impressed with how both sets came out and have kept coming to her. Although I don't get them done regularly, I like to get them done for special occasions, they last for a good while especially if they are taken care of. Overall, I am extremely happy with Daren's services and see myself coming back to her. It may seem cliché, but you honestly get what you pay for. Daren was great! This was my first time getting lashes and I was not at all disappointed! I must admit I was scared at first but she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She is super sweet and has a great personality. As for the lashes , I fell in love with them !!!!!!! They looked so natural but still glamorous. They did not bother me at all, and it didn't even feel like I had lashes on. I usually don't like spending money on these kinds of things but I had a really good experience and I'm actually going to get a refill on Friday. These lashes just make you feel so pretty even if you don't wear any makeup. If you take care of them they will last and it saves you the hassle from having to wear the strip lashes every time you go out (every weekend) + I felt more confident about myself. Daren is located inside of a beauty salon. The hairdressers are super friendly and show you where Daren's private room is at. It's super clean, organized and relaxing. I set up an appointment for microblading. Here's my experience I LOVE IT! She made me feel comfortable with her professionalism and knowledge of this semi-permanent process. Her room is very well lit with professional lights you see all these makeup vloger use. That alone made me feel like vloger myself. She walked me through the ENTIRE process. I was nervous, but that went away quickly. Plus me being such an observant person, everything was sterile and clean that also kept me at ease. Ok on to the details of the process. We took about 1-1/2hrs. finding the PERFECT shape for my eyebrows. I know it may sound like a long time, but I didn't mind bc it's going on my face. It has to be perfect. Once we found the PERFECT shape, I laid down on the comfy table and to work she went. She broke open the skin first, applied the numbing cream and then the color. This was done about 3x's. This is my 3rd day of the healing process and I have yet to feel any pain or itching. She gave a Post Process form to follow the after care treatment which includes you having to apply ointment and use ice packs. I work in the medical field, so I have plenty of ice packs at home. I'm extremely happy with the results and the entire process hasn't been completed yet bc it'll take about 7 days for the color fade a little and for it to start looking natural. Daren is amazing! This was my first time getting lashes with her. The last full set and refill was at another place and now that I have come to Daren I see a huge difference in a couple things. The other place hurt me a couple times, a few pokes which isnt a huge deal but it still hurt. With Daren it was absolutely painless.
