There she answered all my questions and listened to my ideas and vision for my look. She is very knowledgeable, and I knew I would be in good hands on my wedding day! She exceeded all of our expectations, and kept us looking natural and the best versions of ourselves :) She took all of our preferences and also guided us to step out of our comfort zone a little, since it's best a have a little more makeup than usual so you don't wash out in pictures. Rachel was my make-up artist for my wedding and she did an absolutely amazing job! There is nothing she could have done better! My bridesmaids and I all agree that she made us feel flawless and really accentuated our natural beauty. Let me start off with: I absolutely LOVE Rachel! I first noticed Rachel's work when I met a friend of mine for lunch that recently got eyelash extensions from her. I was so impressed with how natural her lashes looked that I called Rachel that day to set up an appointment. She was able to see me that week and was very accommodating to my busy work schedule. I love the fact that she has her own work station at home to see clients. It's assuring to know that you don't have to wait long hours to get seen like in those huge beauty facilities. She is completely professional, excellent hygiene (huge thing for me!!), and makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. The entire process took approximately 1.5 hours for the first session. She sets you up in a comfortable massage table and you basically lay down with your eyes closed. Not stressful at all! We talk most of the time, but sometimes I like to just sleep during the entire session and I wake up with fresh, new lashes! Her prices are extremely fair and the quality of her lashes is excellent. I surf almost daily and do hot yoga a few times a week but those lashes stay on! I come in every 3-4 weeks to get a fill and the fill can be from 30 min-1 hour, so it's in and out. These lashes are comfortable and easy to maintain. She gives you a complimentary eyelash brush and eyelash shampoo to make sure the lashes stay at its prime condition. These lashes have saved me hours of "getting ready in the morning" time since I never wear eye make up anymore unless I have to go somewhere super fancy. If I do wear make-up, it's easy to get it off even with the eyelash extensions. I love these lashes and I highly recommend Rachel for any of your makeup or eyelash needs! read more

If I could give Rachel 1000 stars I would! I've been seeing Rachel for about 2 years. I've gotten my lashes done elsewhere before and didn't have a good experience. My cousin Sharon has been getting her lashes done with Rachel and I loved how it looked on her. I called Rachel and asked her a million questions. She was patient, professional and very sweet about it all. She reassured me that my eyes wouldn't burn or be irritated which were the problems I experienced before. When I first met Rachel she explained everything that she was doing which made me feel at ease. Her station was exceptionally clean! My first set of eyelashes took about an hour which is what she mentioned. She took her time and gave me post eyelash instructions. I love the lashes she put on me! As of this review, Rachel now does powdered eyebrow tattoos! I had my retouch done with her and she did a fabulous job of addressing my concerns with my previous tattoo. I had a full set of lashes done by Rachel nearly 3 weeks ago. And up until today, I don't think I've had a single lash fall out. I have had extensions done at other places before but I have never had them stay on as well as they have with Rachel. In the past when I have had them done, within a few days, some of my lashes are out of place that I would have to get them re-done within a couple of weeks. I'm honestly quite amazed that I've had this for set on for so long and they still look perfect. The lashes she uses are also very natural and feel very comfortable on. I've never had extensions on that were so easy to maintain. Not to mention, they look amazing. The entire process took about 1.5 hours. After doing my own research and stumbling upon some scary lash extensions gone wrong photos, I decided to book an appointment with Rachel per recommendation from one of her existing clients. I've never had lash extensions done before but I was so excited to skip out on the mascara and eyeliner routine! Scheduling the appointment: Super easy over text! Rachel responds quickly and answered all my questions. Day of: Parking can be a little tricky since Rachel works out of her home but there's plenty of parking on the neighboring streets. Before we started, Rachel showed me the mink lash extensions and walked me through what to expect. Since I was getting a full set, my appointment lasted about 1.5 hours. The whole process didn't hurt for me, aside from the occasionally teary eye. Rachel is very professionally and although you can fall asleep (it's so comfy and tempting while lying on the table too), we chatted about random girly things and food so the time went by pretty fast. Rachel took her time attaching each lash extension and I appreciated all the double checking she did afterwards. She also gives you a mascara wand and foam pump bottle (for the baby shampoo & baking soda cleaning solution-only oil free products after the lash extensions go on). When I first looked in the mirror, I was taken aback by how full my lashes looked. I rarely wear falsies so it took some time for me to get use to them but after a few days, I loved them! The After: It's been over a month now, and some of the lash extensions have fallen out but I like this more natural look too. I think fills are usually required 2-3 weeks if you want the fuller look. The glue Rachel uses is strong enough where I think I could go every 3-4 weeks if/when the budget allows! read more

About 9 months ago I was looking for a makeup artist for my Wedding day to do my makeup as well as my bridal party. I had gotten makeup done elsewhere for my engagement photos and wasn't thrilled. Rachel came to my house and did a makeup trial back in September for a friends wedding and I absolutely loved the makeup.
