I ended up here because my hairstylist, Taylor. relocated here. Taylor is amazing and I'd follow her anywhere. She gives a beautiful cut and is an extremely talented colorist. RUINED my hair!! I…read morehad gorgeous natural looking highlights and came here to get them touched up and add a few more to blend my roots. Somehow there was such miscommunication that she turned me into a BLONDE (see before & after pictures). I had to go somewhere else to get it toned dark because I didn't want to be so blonde! It wouldn't be the end of the world if she hadn't over bleach it so much. She used a heavy hand when applying the bleach and STARTED in the front and top section of my hair. This made the most visible parts of my hair the most damaged. I've never had a hairstylist start the highlighting process on the pieces around your Face. They completely fried while waiting on the back to "catch up". She then roughly scrapped/rubbed the bleach off the front, over-fried pieces with a towel which I'm sure caused even more breakage and damage. My hair is now gummy, elastic, broken, and frizzy. I hate it. I had to cut 5 inches off to attempt to make it better. It's been a month and I'm still SO upset which is why I'm finally writing a review. I paid $300 + $$ on repair products, just to ruin my healthy/natural looking hair. I'm still so dang upset and would do anything to go back and not walk into this salon that day.

So I went to a hair salon in Palm Bay called Mane Haus and I seen a guy name Jose. He did my hair…read moreservice and had some breakage while doing it from using too high of a developer. But my hair didn't feel fried or super thin but I have fine hair anyways. Jose didn't use the toner I liked so I came back and met Courtney she did my toner and root melt perfectly, she ended up texting client and letting them know she moved to TALK OF TOWN HAIR STUDIO in SEBASTIAN. So I decided to follow her because she did very well. Well I just went to her yesterday for a high and lowlight with a root melt and I explained I didn't want to be all blonde. She told me that she wanted to bleach all my hair as I haven't had that done before I was a little skeptical but I trusted her because she is a professional. Well she did use a low developer but she ended up putting me under the dryer which I have told her that other stylist I've seen don't do that because they are afraid of breaking my hair. Well 380 dollars later I'm completely distraught, my hair is broken completely off and I can't even put it in a pony talk or even wear it normal. I have to wear it clipped back because it's so embarrassing. I texted her to let her know that my hair was fried off as I examined it at home and she proceeded to tell me my hair is not fried and my hair left in the condition I came in there. Absolutely not. She then kept telling me that I was attacking her with what I was explaining about my hair and that she said she seen no hair coming out in the wash bowl. She told me because she is 1099 that the owner didn't need to be involved with the situation and because she is nice she would put free extensions in my hair. She first told me she wasn't even going to give my money back but once I told her I would like to talk to Ms. Lorna she decided to give half but then she knew I wanted the whole money back. I think at this moment the owner Ms. Lorna should be advised how Courtney spoke with me and this experience was very upsetting and leaving me with hair I can't touch for at least 6 months to a year. I'm so very upset and cried. Courtney left the other salon because she said she had to fix everyone's mess ups and no one owned up to their mistakes. She is doing exactly what she talked stuff about at the other salon.

I was looking for a new hair salon and a neighbor told me about Sheri and gave me their phone number. It was odd that no one answered the phone and I was told to leave my number. But I was called back fairly quickly and made an appt. I was really really happy with the haircut she gave me! I have short hair and have not had a decent haircut in a year! I showed Sheri a picture and described the problem I had experienced with other salons. She got my uneven layers straightened out, and someone FINALLY did the cut I wanted!! I looked and felt like a new woman when I walked out of there!!
