Jeanette is excellent; she provides a professional, 'no-fuss' routine that looks great every day with minimal effort. ​Beyond my own hair, I also trust them with my daughter's curly hair--which any 'curly girl' parent knows can be tricky to cut and maintain! They handle it beautifully. While I usually schedule far in advance, the team has been incredibly accommodating when I've needed a last-minute appointment before an event. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and I'll continue to recommend them to anyone. I am not someone that gets much done to my hair, usually just a hair cut. I recently moved to the area and dreaded having to find a new stylist and place to go for hair services. I found many suggestions from people locally for Addy Rose Hair Studio, so figured I'd contact them and a few others. I'm so happy I went here! I loved my cut as I am new to a shorter style after years of having hair past my waist! They are very fairly priced, in my opinion, and the service was wonderful! Tiana did my hair. Not overly impressed with the service but they had plenty of availability & was easy to get into.

Decent cut. Price is average. Saw the same stylist twice. Salon called to rebook my 2nd appointment. When I arrived for there was no apology for my inconvenience. Stylist has ok cutting skills but very rough, and didn't seem to care. The only words spoken are to ask what cut I wanted. Pulled my hair constantly. Yanked comb through knotted hair, when I said "ouch" she just said "oopsy"! Splashed face with shampoo and water on both appointments. When wringing water out of my haur she pulled so hard my head snapped back. Felt like my scalp was burning when drying my hair. I went in for a color correction from a bad highlight job that was done by another salon right before my vacation to Florida. I was so excited that the owner (Susan) could get me in right away. My mother is a hairdresser in another state, and I've been around the hair industry long enough to say that this hairdresser was awful!!! She spent a total of ONE HOUR (that should give you a clue to how horrible of a job she did) on my hair. She told me she couldn't do anything except add some warm lowlights and brighten some areas of the blonde. She THREW the highlights in, mostly just in one section on the top left where my part is (if I pulled my hair into a ponytail, I looked like a skunk!) did a couple of funky ones on my sides, and was SO ROUGH with me! I have never not enjoyed getting my hair washed, and this time was the exception. She was so rough!! Like, bobbing my head up and down rough. Then the blow dry (she didn't even offer to style me)... the blow dry was a joke! She had a blow dryer that was so hot it burned my scalp. That high of heat is never good on hair! Like I said, I've been around the cosmetology industry for many years, have always used professional blow dryers, irons, etc, and this is a huge no-no. Also, she tried to round brush it with super high heat when it was sopping wet!! Didn't even blast it for a minute to get it semi-dry (duh). My hair is fine in texture, so again, this heat and roughness just caused a lot of breakage. She took an HOUR TOTAL. Obviously she was just in a hurry. Icing on the cake?!! She charged me $160 for that crap!!! Just don't go here. Little girls just coming out of hair school can do a much better job than this lady who expressed how many years of experience she had over and over.... Apparently those years haven't taught her much!! Just because someone tells you how amazing and experienced they are doesn't mean they are skilled. The pics below say everything. If you want to go somewhere and be there for 4 hours and have your hair completely botched, write the owner with ZERO response, live a 25% tip because you are too nice like me, and then have the girl get pissy about it then go here for sure. Please dm me for pictures of my hair that was so uneven and I wrote the owner the very same day and she didn't write me back. I cut my own hair in quarantine so that's on me but if it takes you 4 hours, Tori, to fix it then maybe you should just say, "this is too much for me ". Zero customer care. FOUR hours. Wow. Just wow. The hair will grow back but if you fo there and do not like it, do not expect anyone to give sh*t. I am 45 and this has never happened to me. I was really disappointed. I had just gotten back from a 2 month training, and I had not been able to visit a salon since before training. I have always loved going to the salon. It is my happy place. I am incredibly lucky that I have, up until now, to have stylist that were honest about what I wanted and what I could have without killing my hair. We just moved here; so, I was hoping to find my new happy place here in Melbourne. After spending hours at the salon, I had little conversation with my stylist here, and what we did have, she was trying to sell me products. (which I understand is part of their job, but it was still excessive.) I asked to have it styled and she put a ton of product in it. So, I didn't notice until the next day when I washed my hair she fried my hair. I combed my hair from ends to roots with a wide tooth comb, and my hair just broke off. I take very good care of my hair. I was devastated. I had to spend another $50 on repair hair products to start to help my hair repair itself. I would not recommend this salon. read more

My appt was with Susan, the owner. Cut, base color and highlights. She was working on another customer at the same time, so my appt took forever. Very sloppy work... did not protect my skin from dark base color so I had a brown ring around my face for days. Also, when I got in my car I saw that I had a quarter sized glob of dark hair dye in my ear...very visible. No way she couldn't have seen that when washing out and styling my hair, yet she couldn't be bothered to wipe it up. Pass. read more

Susan/ owner took me for a haircut. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked back to my car was 10 minutes total... the hair wash took maybe a minute total. After cutting my hair she didn't ask if I wanted it blow dried instead she put a mouse on top of my head and shook it and that's it. Seemed very uninterested and in a hurry. What a disappointment! Did not give me the color that I wanted (not even close). The hairdresser foiled 1/2 of my head and then left me sitting there for 15 minutes while she went to wash another clients hair. She then came back and foiled the rest of my hair. The hairdresser did offer to fix my hair color, but after the experience that I had already, I told her no. Still charged me over $200. Also I left with stain on my forehead and all over the side of my face. Will not be going back EVER! read more

The lady who did my hair did a great job, my hair was super heavy and looking flat and she gave me layers to make it more bouncy and flowy. The only thing is that she was super rough with my hair when doing it. I always try to be as gentle as possible with my hair because it tends to break easier. So this was a little bit upsetting for me and I was almost in tears bc of the pain (I have a sensitive scalp) but I suppose I should've spoken up and said something. I just spent $55.00 for my 15 year old to get a trim. She barely cut any of her hair. Last time I was there, it cost $25 because I was charged the kids' price. $30 difference for the same flipping haircut!!! I don't spend $55 for a trim on myself at a nice salon. This place is so professional and does nothing short of miracles! I had a disaster that I had to wait 3 months to fade and grow and Brittany took my sad dark hair and gave me a natural look that I just love! I didn't believe the reviews in that all would be 5 stars but it's true and addyrose totally deserves it! I just moved here for CA and was looking for a new salon. Shawna did a great job on my cut and style which is a hard thing to do with my thick and stubborn hair! She also gave me a whole bunch of styling tips since I never really know how to work with my hair and what to use. You do need an appointment to get in and it seems like they are pretty busy! Impressive! The best cut and style I have had forever!!! My hair has been long for many years; always straightened and cut straight in the back. I take great care of it. With much hesitation, I decided to start cutting some length slowly and change my look. In December, I had another hair salon cut it...it was ok, but people commented it was too flat on the back. Just a couple of weeks ago, I decided to give Addie Rose a try...should have done it from the get go!!! I first visited Addy Rose Salon because of Holly. She worked at a previous salon I went to and I saw that she did great cuts, so I followed her and hoped for the best. There is naturally anxiety in using a different stylist for the first time. Holly goes above and beyond to make sure that the cut and color is suitable for you. She has fresh ideas and is extremely pleasant. She makes you feel comfortable and like you are in very capable hands. All the staff at the salon are friendly and you are welcomed immediately. I have wavy hair. I was nervous about going shorter as some stylist in the past have given me a "Bozo" hair cut. Heather cut my hair chin length and it looks awesome! The owners of the salon seem very nice. Also, I appreciate that no one tried to up-sell me expensive hair products when I checked out. That was refreshing compared to most salons I've been to.
