Or, since my experience was specifically with Rebecca (Becca), I should not generalize about the entire shop - which in fact was clean, cozy, and conveniently located in downtown Titusville. I did a lot of research to try to find a place that could tame my brassy hair color and make it a more natural shade of light brown/blonde. I couldn't believe the great reviews this salon had and the fact it isn't too far from me. I am used to driving over an hour away to get my hair done so the location was a bonus. I stopped in before booking and Becca took a lot of time to look at my hair (and even sniffed it!), looking at the photos of what hair color I wanted to have, and discussing price. $215 (before tip) for the color correction and a haircut to remove those frizzy ends. That's a lot of money but I have a lot of hair, so OK, I booked it. The general experience was as expected, typical salon chit chat. Becca seemed to be methodical and took several hours to color my hair... or should I say, the outside layer of my hair. She dyed my entire head of hair hair dark brown - which I specifically told her not to do - and then did not put any highlights underneath my hair. This led to the effect of putting a sparse wig of blonde strands on top of a dark brown head of hair. If I sat perfectly still with zero movement to my hair like one had when walking, or the wind blowing, the impression wasn't too bad because only the top strands had the blonde/ light brown highlights. As soon as my hair moved, the illusion fell apart. Because the underneath of my hair wasn't highlighted, it looked so dark brown I would have had the same if not better appearance if I used an at-home dye kit. I looked SO BAD that three days later I called Becca and told her how dark it looked and that the underneath and top of my crown needed to be highlighted. Maybe she forgot, I don't know, she had another client come in while I was there so maybe she was pressed for time and just wanted to move on? It's all a guess, but I just needed this fixed because I looked really dumpy. The dark brown color did not go with my skin tone at all and I looked like I never saw a salon in my life. She told me to come in a few days later so she could look at it. I did, and she gave me a story about how this was going to be "a process" and it would take multiple appointments to get my hair the color I requested, plus bonus excuse of not wanting to over process my hair in one appointment by adding highlights underneath my hair. BUT- as fate would have it, she could do those highlights immediately, even though it was just 7 days after she felt she risked damaging my hair the first time she did it. And - and - it would only cost me an additional $70! Wow. What nerve. No thank you. I'm including before and after pix of my hair so you can see for yourself. I showed them to my new colorist who laugh-cried out of anguish and sympathy for me, and then colored my hair in ONE VISIT exactly the way I requested /as shown the same photos that I had originally presented to Becca. I want to stress that a hideous experience with one hairdresser does not mean everyone in the shop is bad. There were multiple elderly clients who came into the shop who had very short (ear length and neck length) haircuts who looked quite nice. If you are looking for that type of style then I could see how this salon received so many reviews. However you may want to think twice if you want a different hair style or color.

Every customer that came in in the time I was there left more beautiful and happier than when they entered. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming and they have the best hair washing sinks. I ended up here because my hairstylist, Taylor. relocated here. Taylor is amazing and I'd follow her anywhere. She gives a beautiful cut and is an extremely talented colorist. Today she made hair color dreams come true and gave me a gorgeous pink do! Last year I went for panels of green. Need a good haircut or color? RUINED my hair!! I…read morehad gorgeous natural looking highlights and came here to get them touched up and add a few more to blend my roots. Somehow there was such miscommunication that she turned me into a BLONDE (see before & after pictures). I had to go somewhere else to get it toned dark because I didn't want to be so blonde! It wouldn't be the end of the world if she hadn't over bleach it so much. She used a heavy hand when applying the bleach and STARTED in the front and top section of my hair. This made the most visible parts of my hair the most damaged. I've never had a hairstylist start the highlighting process on the pieces around your Face. They completely fried while waiting on the back to "catch up". She then roughly scrapped/rubbed the bleach off the front, over-fried pieces with a towel which I'm sure caused even more breakage and damage. My hair is now gummy, elastic, broken, and frizzy. I hate it. I had to cut 5 inches off to attempt to make it better. It's been a month and I'm still SO upset which is why I'm finally writing a review. I paid $300 + $$ on repair products, just to ruin my healthy/natural looking hair. I'm still so dang upset and would do anything to go back and not walk into this salon that day.

I came in with clear reference photos for a neutral, beige-bronde tone. During the consultation, I was told that would be "too dark" before a wedding and was pushed to go lighter. I trusted the stylist's expertise. Somehow, I left significantly darker than my inspo, with still strong red and gold tones, despite being told we were going ash and removing all warmth. It completely missed the mark. To be clear, this was not a communication issue. I completed her questionnaire, submitted photos in advance, and had a lengthy consultation. When I asked for a correction, I was told I'd need to pay for an entirely new appointment. Even though I had just spent over $600, I agreed due to desperation. But then was told there was no availability before my wedding, even though she is the owner. There was no attempt to accommodate, prioritize, or problem-solve. For the price point, the lack of accountability and urgency was extremely disappointing. The stylist repeatedly told me how much she liked it, rather than addressing that it did not match what I asked for and gaslit me throughout the process. The pricing also felt misleading. Miscellaneous additional charges were added throughout the appointment, despite the expensive base charge and time was spent upselling products and photographing my hair for her marketing (she asked me to do multiple poses) without regard for my time or that I was leaving her Salon dissatisfied. Thankfully, I found another stylist at a different salon who rearranged her schedule, after hearing my situation. After a brief consultation, she corrected the color within a couple hours and it was perfect. The new hairstylist questioned how the original result came to be. She even asked me if the former "hairstylist was having a bad day." She then reassured me that even if color didn't turn out how I wanted she would work all day to fix it if necessary because "that's what professionals do." Fortunately, this wasn't the case. The fix cost a fraction of the price and looked exactly like my inspiration. Overall, this experience felt more focused on upselling and Rhedonda squeezing every dollar out, rather than on client results or care. I would NOT recommend, especially for important events where timing and accuracy matter.

Sick of stray grays and crap coverage (I make a terrible hair colorist) - I reached out to Rhedonda to fix me. I provided inspiration pictures and she provided a Pinterest page with more realistically achievable color palettes for us to work my hair back to a caramelly blonde color.
