No. But they take extra time to make sure you are getting a good value for your money. Tara- who did my manicure was RUDE AND RUSHED THE PROCESS. Then I had to go in the next day to get it fixed because it was peeling already by Kenny who was amazing! Tara stared at me with rude eyes and tried intimidating me. Rude and unprofessional. Very unpleasant and Tara was also unsanitary. Left the tools she was using on me on a seat while she was still using it on me. Oh and to top it off/ I called to talk to owner and she goes "what you want?" I asked when the owner will be in and she goes "I don't know" in a very very rude tone. Update- after getting it fixed by Kenny, the other nails started lifting. Upon first impression I found the place very upscale and chic. My assigned stylist brought me to a comfortable chair and asked me what services I was interested in. I was just looking for a nice haircut. Maddie exceeded my expectations. She took me to the washing station next. I really liked the foot recliner there. She really took her time washing my hair and it felt great. For the haircut she made sure she asked exactly what I wanted before starting. Maddie really took her time and gave me the perfect haircut for my very curly hair. Upon arriving my hair was very sad looking but she gave my curls life again. I also appreciate how she took time to diffuse my hair and show me techniques to give my roots more body (I had mentioned how I wanted more volume/no flat roots). She also showed me some great products. Once the visit was finished she told me if I wanted to add more layers or needed anything to please come back. Maddie was excellent! As far as the salon.... It was very inviting and clean. The entire salon felt very stylish and upscale. Along with hair services they also have a nail specialist. The chairs for pedicures look so nice and they do other services such as waxing. I really loved the soft indie music playing and the prettty lighting. The pricing is higher but in my opinion the services and quality of service make it well worth it. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to coming back someday and getting more services done.
