I get my nails done pretty often. I usually get gel manicure and pedicure. I've had less than a handful of places that isn't worth going to. This is one of them. Tara- who did my manicure was RUDE AND RUSHED THE PROCESS. Then I had to go in the next day to get it fixed because it was peeling already by Kenny who was amazing! Tara stared at me with rude eyes and tried intimidating me. Rude and unprofessional. Very unpleasant and Tara was also unsanitary. Left the tools she was using on me on a seat while she was still using it on me. Oh and to top it off/ I called to talk to owner and she goes "what you want?" I asked when the owner will be in and she goes "I don't know" in a very very rude tone. Update- after getting it fixed by Kenny, the other nails started lifting. Rushed, careless service and a poor attitude. I was pressured to choose a color and met with visible annoyance when I asked to look again. The removal process burned my skin and sent debris flying onto my hands, which was ignored. The entire service felt rushed with little concern for comfort or quality. I noticed bubbles in the top coat after leaving and returned to have them fixed. I was rushed again, and the fix was superficial. I spent over $200 for my mom and me to get our nails done here, and after months of being a loyal customer, this will unfortunately be my last visit. I've been coming to this salon consistently since I moved nearby in April. I loved the convenience, the walk-in flexibility, and the overall experience.....until now. Two days after my appointment last Friday, my nails already looked wrong. The polish began peeling, and one nail had clear grooves where the gel dried improperly. I've been getting gel nails for almost ten years, across multiple salons, and I have never had results like this. I finally found time to stop by and explain the issue. Helen greeted me at the door with a smile, but the moment I calmly explained the situation, her attitude shifted to irritation. I told her this was my first time using that particular gel brand, and something clearly went wrong. When I asked to switch to a different brand in a similar color to avoid the same issue again, she acted annoyed and flatly told me it would cost $33. To be clear, this wasn't a "I don't like the color" situation. The product failed. Yet she insisted she could only redo the two damaged nails using the same brand unless I paid extra. After spending so much money, and after months of being a loyal, easygoing client who never complains, that response was unacceptable. I was drawn to the place because they are priced well. I don't treat myself to service like this often because finances are tight this year. So because I did budget a Gel manicure $33 plus tip I was bummed when I left and with my cuticles rough, bleeding a little and had polish on my skin. The polish was also a little patchy on one nail. Just not a great first impression. Just for the record I did purchase the gel polish manicure, which includes cuticle treatment. The service was ok, the employees were nice but when I walked in and told them I had an appointment they wouldn't even look on the computer to figure it out, they just brought me to a random person and then tried to figure it out by bringing me their tablet later on and I had to find my own name and they brought me to someone else. She was nice but I told her that I was allergic to cuticle oil and at the end she put it on one hand and then I think she realized and all she did was put lotion on my hands real quick afterwards mixing all of it together on both hands and when she was filing my nails the file was grinding on my skin the whole time leaving me blood blisters. I woke up this morning with my fingers sore, super inflamed, and super itchy with small liquid filled bumps on all my fingers due to the cuticle oil (it happens to me every time which is why I tell them no cuticle oil.) and it's frustrating paying $70+ to get my nails done and I'm in nothing but pain and irritation. read more

Note: they give you a piece of paper with the spa prices and everything it includes, on the top in big bold letters affective January something cash tips only. I agree and select option #1. Do you want gel, no I reply and she continues with my pedicure. She goes to takeoff my polish and says gel extra five. Okay that's fine, it takes a little longer. Cutting shaping and getting my ingrown's out amazing! My French polish looks like I did it when I was in nail school. The bottom of my feet are horrible as though they haven't been touched at all, whatever I can fix it later at home. No we go to do my eyebrows I'm in the chair maybe a total of three minutes. I asked her to shape them which she did not. She barely waxed anything off and took out one hair with a pair of tweezers. I go to pay again on top of the ATM it says cash tips only. She asked me cash or card I said card she said that'll be 3% for using a card. I said so I either have to pay 3% to use a card or I have to pay your ATM fee and pay you with cash is that correct she says yes. No where in the salon is that posted, only the tip in cash. I told her you know that is it legal at no point ever are you supposed to charge a credit card fee call any merchant processing company. They still made me pay it but gave me a 20% off coupon. I will not return to this business because of the way in which the man at the front (owner) treated an African American young woman. Today I visited to get a pedicure and noticed a young woman who came in to get a mail repair which was completed, upon completion the woman toes was smudged and the mail tech told her that she would not fix it, the young woman said ok and fixed it herself. Not sure if this is excellent customer service but anyway, something else happened and the mail tech looked like she was annoyed, the owner came over and told the customer to shut up and be quiet. The customer started crying, she tried to say something and he raised his hand and said " I do not want to hear anything from you" YES HE SAID THAT to a woman who was crying. After not being able to bare this anymore I said to the owner (man in front) that he should have ashamed of himself and the way he spoke to the customer who was young enough to be be daughter. Paid $90 and she (the girl who did my nails) left without giving me a chance to present discounts at the register. First time in the salon was referred. Started off OK but then became highly disappointed. During the filing process used a Dremel and cut my skin and continue to use the same tool. The tool was pulled out a shot glass and it looks like it had already been used. Very unsanitary did not clean the tool after cutting me which draw blood. And put the tools back away. This also includes the files that were done by hand. The color was inconsistent very patchy and it was not covered completely shown in pictures. Requested a matte finish was rushed in the nail drying process did not complete and get all shin off using the matte finish product. Underneath my nails are super dirty still have tons of product that is glued to my skin. Technician was not very happy when I advised that one of my nails was extremely crooked and they had to take it off and redo that's basically when the attitude went downhill. And it wasn't for the lack of being busy because the tech told me they had a slow day prior to me being there. The nail dryer was dirty very not impressed with sanitary practices. I have visited this nail salon 3 times because I wanted to like it as it is in a very convenient location for me. They are very inconsistent with quality and opening times. My nails looked good once done but broke very easily and I was unhappy with my pedicure. They also charged extra to change the change of my nail when I was getting dip. I have been there right at the time they are supposed to open and they are not there. There are pretty new so they are trying to get it together but it's not running smoothly yet at all.
