Came here with my friend. David did our nails since he was the one who was available. It took him two to three hours to work on her nails bc she had to keep telling him how she wanted her nails done and he couldn't get it right. We could tell he was getting upset and irritated. She ended up settling bc we were tired and she was frustrated. When he started on my nails, I got French tip. As he did the white tip, I told him it was too thick and I wanted it a little thinner. He told me not to worry bc the glitter on the edge will take away the white. Well it didn't. It's still too thick for my taste. David will tell you how he wants to do it and imo this is not the way to do nail business. Give the customer what they want. read more

This place a$$ I went in with a friend to get some cute vacation nails. I want in for acrylic fill, the person who did my nails drill my nails practically down to the nails bed, my natural nails are so thin they feel like there gonna break off. Also they cut my cuticles with the drill, I was in pain. I had to pull my hand away at one point because the drill was burning so bad, terrible experience. Also, when you get acrylics they aren't supposed to lift afterward. But, mine are thin and are lifting 20 minutes after getting them done. When I was getting the acrylic paste put on I could feel the temperature of how cold it was because of how close it was to my natural nails. Save your time, money, and nails. I went to Hollywood Nails on a referral - bad choice. I walked in with no appointment, but there were only 2 other customers so I got right in. I wanted a gel manicure. I was told to sit at one of the stations and my technician would be right with me. Turns out she was giving herself a pedicure and I had to wait 10 min for her to finish. She didn't seem too focused on me and was chatting with her coworker a lot. It was annoying, but not a showstopper. While she was cutting my cuticle, I reached for my phone with my free hand. Didn't move the hand she was working on, but she lost her focus and cut my thumb cuticle and made it bleed quite a bit. Didn't stop for a few minutes. I understand accidents happen, but instead of apologizing, she blamed me and said I was moving around too much!! Not ok. Then when it came time to paint my nails, she kept messing up. She had to redo several nails more than once due to bumps. Finally another technician came to help. Unfortunately, I think it was too far gone at this point. Internally, I just wanted it to be over, so I stopped complaining. In the end, it's probably the worst manicure I've ever received. And not just because of the bleeding. The nail polish goes onto my cuticle bed - which means it will peel in ~2-3 days. And I wanted round/oval nails. I got some that are round, some that are more square, and they aren't an even length. To top it all off, for making me bleed, she didn't offer a discount. And when I spoke to a manager and said it was pretty awful, she started yelling at me that I moved and made her cut me. I came here for the first time for a regular pedicure and a dip polish manicure. Obviously being in Covid, I had lower expectations and were just appreciative that the salon was trying to resume business as usual. Where do I start? I had my nails done by a kind gentleman who asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted - I said just a regular and then asked if I could get a 10 minute massage. He said no and to pick another pedicure and that "money talks" - I am going to blame this on the language barrier? A few minutes later, I asked I will pay you for a 10 minute foot massage, how much? He said 10-15 and then after I said okay, $10? He said actually my hands hurt, maybe next time. Okay...weird but whatever. Moving on to the main event. I love dip polish and was excited that this was an option. During the standard dip process, I noticed that she dipped my fingers maybe 5-6 rounds - I thought this was more than usual but hey, its been awhile since I had a manicure. Taking a look now, there is about a centimeter of nail polish on my finger. Then she started filling my nail with an electric nail file - again totally fine but the color it was producing on my nail didn't seem consistent. As she moved to seal the dip, she decided to employ the UV Gel polish/UV light - which is COMPLETELY the opposite of what you're supposed to do for a dip mani. The whole point of a dip mani is NOT to use any UV light. At this point, I realized how shitty of a salon this was and that it was going to take longer to start the process all over. I was hopeful that the nail polish color would change but it did not. She didn't even cut my cuticles, use lotion or moisturizer to ensure my nail beds were attended to for the low price of $50.... Main takeaway - don't waste your money. This place is an absolute hustle delivering very poor and pricey treatments. Avoid at all costs if you care about the health of your skin, nails and money. read more

I came here for a good pedicure, and wish I would have gone elsewhere. I was not greeted nor treated with very high regard, and the overall vibe was extremely awkward and nasty. The ladies were not very nice to customers or to one another, a few customers were visibly uncomfortable. When the nail tech felt I had sat drying for long enough she walked up to me and said "you pay me now". Extremely strange and rude. I would rather have paid more for a better ambiance and a better pedicure, as it turned out to be pretty sub standard. 45 minutes I'll never get back. read more

Unless you want the cheap pedicure, go some where else. My mom and I dropped in here for gel nails and a pedicure. The place is clean and was consistently busy the entire time we were there. Probably because of the $15 Express Pedicure Special. I did get a pedicure and the gal did a good job. It was pretty similar to every other place I've gone. Nothing special, but it's lasted 2 weeks plus. The horrible part was when this man did my gel nails. He was sloppy, not friendly and we sat next to the phone at the front and he stopped to answer the phone three times in the middle of the process. About half way through I could see that he just didn't care and I really want to get up and walk away. I asked him to fix a few spots at the end and he insisted they were fine. He was very rude. This is a very unprofessional establishment. I am beyond shocked at how they treat their customers. I called to make an appointment for two gel manicures - right when we got to the salon for our appointments, we were treated with such disrespect. They made us get up from chair to chair till one of them decided to take us. The woman ruined my sisters nail bed by continuously putting on the gel and then removing while socializing with her friend that came to visit her. As I was looking at which color to choose the man (with the diamond ring) told me I'm taking too long to choose a color, meanwhile I had been looking for not even a minute. They seemed very rushed, and inpatient. This was supposed to be a relaxed birthday treat to myself and I left feeling so upset and angry. I had a mini $15 pedicure which I was not too fussed with the pedicurist she was unattentive but did a good job. I had booked a full set of nails I got Mimi. And she did a wonderful job!! I had my old set of nails taken off , and Mimi took care not to hurt she was extremely careful, which as you know ladies this can hurt... So I was very grateful. I have always gone to this place but was sooo disappointed with my experience today. First of all the gal doing my pedicure says you get what you pay for. So I proceed to explain I don't like people massaging my feet or legs so my pick was nothing to do with $$. Then she made a big deal about my dry feet. To which I said that is why I was there. Mom my and I went the 4-6 for my birthday. We both got the deluxe pedi. I had shellac on my toes. For what we paid the service and quality was aweful. When she took the polish off she was very ruff. When she was cleaning up the cuticles made me bleed some. They did a horrible job on smoothing out the bottom of our feet. I actually had to go and buy pummel stone to finish the job. The polish looked like something a 5 year old did. We paid 65$ for a service they rushed through and we had to fix in the end. I would never go bad and I would never recommend this place. read more
