My first stay in Cocoa Beach had me wanting to get my toes polished up for beachware. I found Cocoa Beach Spa through online recommendations and I was not disappointed. I did a pedicure and massage, scheduling appointments for myself and sister. They were able to accommodate the appointments and keep us together. The pedicure was wonderful. They spent significant time to ensure my legs and feet were smooth and the polish was perfectly applied. They used a quick drying polish which enables the massage to be scheduled after the pedicure. There were lots of colors to choose from. I enjoyed the copper pot soak with lemons and flower petals. The coconut scrub was heavenly and the hot towels felt so refreshing. Next up was the massage. I did the 60 minute relaxation massage. Soft music and pleasing aromas accompanied the massage. It was wonderful. The pressure was effective but not too hard to be uncomfortable. I left feeling very relaxed. Again, I loved the hot towels and essential oils used during the process. When we drove up, I wasn't expecting what looked like a home but entering the front door and being treated so well, plus the amazing aromas emanating from the room, I knew I was in the right place. I didn't take any pics because I was enjoying myself so much. I did buy some products before I left and snapped a pic. We've been coming to cocoa beach for decades and have always wanted to try this spa. My aunt swears by it! The kids were finally old enough to leave alone for an hour and come try it. OH MY GODNESS!! Paid for a couple Tiki " therapeutic " massage but was never asked how deep I wanted my massage and felt only finger manipulation on my skin . The environment was not as welcoming compared to the phone call when booked. Plus one interaction I saw among the two ladies who massaged us didn't want to offer me a birthday gift as they usually do for others .. yes I caught that ! She didn't have time to blow dry it. I had to go back one more time in 2 days to finish the process. The highlighted colors are not even, the inside is almost silver and the outside is light brown, very weird look. When I made an appointment, they replied saying that 12PM was the only option. It doesn't look like much. It's a tiny house a few blocks from the beach. My mom and I get a massage when we come to Cocoa a few times a year. I'm 100% satisfied with massages. I don't ask for anyone in particular and I'm never disappointed. This last time I had a super, young girl. I thought.... "uh oh, she looks like she's still in high school." I never asked how old she was but she was dynamite. I felt like a new woman when leaving. I got an appointment the day after I called. I was back in the massage room within 10 minutes upon arrival. Bottom Line: for what I went in for - a Deep Tissue Massage - I was very pleased. Yes, I agree with another reviewer, they are a little more expensive than some places, but not out of the Ballpark. I had a 1 hour Deep Tissue Massage and it was $83. If you go back within a certain amount of time they will discount your next service. Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach is an island. There are no chain businesses here. The closest Massage Envy is 30-40 minutes away. Also, I think a lot of their business is people who are on vacation. So that market allows for the higher price. For me, the convenience of the location makes the higher price palatable. I think that when reviewing many businesses, the business is only as good as the person who gave you that service. My person was Kim and her service was very professional and she was very knowledgeable. I told her I was in a lot of pain. My back was "out" and i was locked up. I couldn't walk straight and I was in constant discomfort and/or pain. She told me several times that I just needed to let her know if the pressure was too much. Let me just say - she gets in there. I had knots on both sides of my shoulder blades and my gluts. She worked the full hour. I came out sooooo sore, but walking and feeling much better. She gave me lots of good advice to help ease the soreness and to improve my flexibility in general. Bottom Line: Will I go back - Yes. Did she accomplish what I needed - Yes. Is the price a little higher than the average chain - Yes, but to me well worth it. read more

Asked on a whim if there was a same day opening. The receptionist was so helpful and willing to accommodate. It costs a bit $170 for an hour couples massage, which is comparable to most places, but honestly i found it to be cheaper than most. I had an early morning appointment for bridal hair and makeup for my elopement wedding. The appointment was made almost a month in advance and confirmed the week before. My stylist (Abbey) did not show up- nobody was there at all. I waited in the parking lot for 45 minutes for someone to show up or at least return my calls or messages. I finally had to wipe my tears and get myself together to drive back to my airbnb and frantically do my own hair and makeup for my wedding. I got a message back from the salon an hour before the ceremony was supposed to start saying that they were sorry and essentially that they couldn't do anything. Absolutely horrible experience and a horrible way to start my wedding day. UPDATE 5/24/23: The owner called me and discussed the incident. He apologized profusely and explained that on the morning that the incident occurred he was out of town himself. I do feel that he genuinely feels badly about what happened and wishes that he could make it right. It does seem that this was a completely out of the ordinary incident for this business after reading other reviews and speaking with the owner. Unfortunately, I cannot redo my wedding day, but I do appreciate his sincere apology. read more

We were disappointed with this spa, although the massages themselves were good. My husband and I splurged on a 90-minute couples massage, hoping it would be a relaxing thing to do together. However, the spa did not seem interested in creating a nice atmosphere. We arrived slightly early, but the receptionist was on the phone and didn't speak to us. We waited for a while until one very friendly and one very quiet and uncertain masseuse took us back to our rooms. They were very surprised we hadn't yet filled out our forms, and had us fill them out in the nearly pitch black massage room. We didn't realize this time was coming out of our massage time. When they came back, they did the massages. My therapist asked a lot of questions about what I wanted but my husband's therapist was frustratingly silent. After a late start, we were surprised they also ended a little early. When we checked out to pay, it was extremely transactional. There was free food for guests (e.g., tea, cookies, mints), but we had to awkwardly ask if we were allowed to consume it as we were leaving. The massage therapists also seemed annoyed by the incompetence of the receptionist. Overall, we were pretty happy with the actual massages, but left feeling kind of ripped off and angry because of administrative issues and the unwelcoming environment.
