I would like to say La Bella has by far the most talented and well educated team I have ever worked for or experienced. In response to some of the recent poor reviews by one group of people, I can say whole heartedly they are lying, when we had to change a service timing, the guest only paid for that timing, and received many upgrades to thank them for the fact we had to adjust the timed by 15 minutes on a 90 minute service. Every negative review has also lied on the time actually given, and as an honest business we aired on the side of caution. I could say a lot of negative things that are completely true about this incredibly rude group, but I won't go there. Rude is the worse choice of words here, cause they were more than that. I even have e-mails that the only requirement from that group was no one be alone more than 30 minutes in the lounge. We went above that, offering other free rooms to utilize, to include the Salt Light Chamber, as freely as anyone waiting wished. They raved about the sauna even. After reading these reviews, I consider them 100% slander as well as harassment. I will always stand behind La Bella and our team 100%, we aim for perfection as well as wellness from the inside out. We will always be humble and correct anything inside of our control. It's very obvious that is not everyone's goal here... There's always a solution, and the director, JOE, instills that in all of us. What's the saying, "Hurt people hurt people..." I believe something is very much off with the women writing straight up lies, knowing what lies can do to a business simply because it wasn't free, but it was 100% corrected on all ends, to include discounting services and adding upgrades to be apologetic that service was shortened 15 minutes, but honestly, it was only one service but we discounted 3, again to air on the side of caution. On a positive note I'd also like to share, again, La Bella staff are the most talented, educated, compassionate people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Every detail, benefits and uniqueness of every service is as thought out just as every detail to to the facility. "La Bella, where life is beauty..." There motto is felt inside and out the minute you walk in the building but especially upon consulting with the staff... My wife and I get our toenails professionally trimmed and cleaned every month. Romona and Lana do an excellent job every time. They set us up in a quiet room with soothing music playing in the background. In addition, they hot stone massage our feet and legs for 15 minutes. This massage is unbelievable! Amazing healthy experience! I had been searching for an established medical spa that employs highly trained and experienced estheticians/clinicians to consult with me on my skincare needs. I found La Bella Spa online and was intrigued with the many helpful patron reviews. Further studied their website and was impressed with the extensive list of advanced skin and facial services. I scheduled a Derma Smooth Facial which encompasses microdermabrasion, with rejuvenating skin care treatments with custom peel. I was blessed to have my service with Carmella. She is professionally skilled with decades of experience and is passionate to care for her clients' particular skin care needs. She monitored how my skin was reacting to the treatment and asked many questions during the session. I have traveled a bit and visited spas in Miami, Palm Beach, Boston, LA, Washington, D.C., New York, etc. and this was truly the first facial that I have received that was not a "cookie cutter" facial. It was designed for me! Remarkable pampering and compassion. Somehow they forget about me. Came in on time for my 3pm last minute appointment for 90min massage. Checked in and asked me to sit until I get call. Once they called, they told me that the therapist still working on finishing her last customer so they sent to the lounge to use their sauna or salt room. Waited for almost an hour and no one was looking for me and somehow I felt to tired and fall asleep. Call them and asked of what happen, they finally told me the therapist had a family emergency and surprisingly they don't even bother to let me know. Other therapist were seem to take over my appointment and i'm still waiting. after another 10, no one grab me or tell me whatsoever until it passed 20 minutes of wait and I call them back for my last chance. Finally the man that checked me in showed up with the therapist and told me about a 60 minutes instead of 90. As I want to get massage so bad and other places are booked already so accept it. Got a quick massage although not so enough of what I need. Can't believe this place had a really bad at communication and ignoring their customer. Although at the end they comp my treatment but still this is a waste much of time as I come for a vacation. read more

Horrible and unpleasant experience. Went for a bachelors party and all of our services were unorganized. John the manager was horrible no help and did not comp us for our unpleasant, shortened services. They instead put us to sit in a salt room as a complimentary thing. Massage was ok, but the therapist seemed sick. Sneezing and coughing during session. Could not relax for fear of getting sick. She worked hard though and did a good job. Rose did my facial and she is too notch! I highly recommend her. The lounge area is getting a bit tired. Nothing has changed in terms of decor in 20 years... except they no longer give you little muffins to enjoy between services. The salt and light room is a welcome addition. I've been lucky enough to have someone buy me a massage here twice so I can't speak to the cost but I can speak to the service. My masseuse's were very friendly and skilled. I suffer from back spasms so I get the deep tissue each time. When they ask me how deep, I usually reply "until I cry" and they go deep. The location is hard to find and easy to drive right by the first time so pay attention. I't about mid-way between the drawbridge and the Circle K on the north side of the road. read more

She is super nice and does a great job. I look forward to seeing her every few weeks. Bonus: the receptionists are really friendly as well. The location is great, right off the A1A crossing of Merritt Island. The spa has a very relaxing atmosphere and I hope to try some of their other services eventually. They also seem to have very clean practices and Melissa was very accommodating with describing how they maintain cleanliness and safety, which is very important to me. They use files that can be safely sanitized, which is super important because most places will use the pumice-type files on your feet and re-use them, and no matter how much you rinse them, someone else's feet flakes are still in them (yuck!). A bonus: they also use healthy vegan nail polish which has helped keep my nails from being damaged/discolored by polish. They also do appointment reminders which, when you schedule things out weeks away, is super helpful. I will say that the services are a little overpriced. I really like Melissa so I will continue to go for my regular pedicures, but I had to drop the manicures and start doing them myself again. I would go in for more services (like massage, facials, etc. which I currently do elsewhere) if their prices were more reasonable. I'm recovering from a cold and can feel the drainage leaving my head. My arthritic Knees actually feel a lot better. The sauna and salt and light room were a bonus. I also got a manicure with Karen. My girlfriend LOVES this place! I am always looking for good places to buy her gift certificates for whether it be a holiday, her birthday, or an anniversary. So I decided to try this place and see if she would like it. And the result was amazing! She was so happy when she came home and she couldn't stop raving about her day! She said that her favorite part was her deep tissue massage. I think she said she had it with Shelly. But she was amazed how straight and clear she felt, and she didn't feel any residual pain throughout the day, unlike what she had experienced at other spas. She also got a "Milk on the rocks" pedicure (I personally thought that was such a cool name) and she also enjoyed that. She also got one other treatment done but I cannot remember what it was. But overall she loved this place, and I love how much she loved me for getting her the gift of a little paradise. On an additional note, I have to mention that the front desk staff was very kind and pleasant to work with. I called on the phone and I think I talked to Joe who not only explained the different treatment options, but also answered all my questions. I've been to the spa twice: first on a gift package and a second time for a facial treatment. The gift package was lovely. It took nearly all day, but I definitely felt pampered. ... Although the place as a neon sign (a sure no-no in northern California for bodyworkers), there was lots of parking. The visit started with a nice robe, lovely room to wait in between treatments with tea and nibbles. My first treatment was a massage that was nice but nothing special. The therapist was a new practitioner and wasn't able to provide the myofascial work I specifically requested when I made my appointment. The second treatment was a facial. The therapist worked up something wonderful and marketed their line of Cosmedix products, giving me a specific list of what would work best for me. I purchased one of the items in the small but nice gift store at the end of my visit. My last treatment was a pedicure with hand waxing which was easily the very best pedicure I've ever had ... ever. Absolutely no discomfort, no picking, no shaving or cutting or clipping of cuticles. And the nail color lasted about 6 weeks. I planned to return much sooner than I did, (This place has terrible hours for those of us who work.) but finally made it a few weeks ago for a "the works" facial treatment, which the first therapist (whose name I didn't remember when I made the appointment, so didn't request) had recommended to me as a good baseline for regular skin care. The experience was very different. No robe, no resting ... an okay facial experience, but my face wasn't as clean the next day as after my first treatment. The therapist was gentle and not too talkative but also didn't have advice for me, which I do appreciate. I might go back, if I can find the name of the first therapist in my files somewhere ... but I really would prefer a place with more convenient hours. read more

I found La Bella Spa after searching Google for hair straightening in the area. Their website said they do it, so I set up a consultation and decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi and eyebrow waxing. At the hair consultation, she (Linda?) told me that she doesn't do the straightening service listed on their website, but could do something different. I asked if someone else on the team did the straightening and was told they do not. She said that she would have them remove it from their site in August when I went and it is still listed. I then went to get my eyebrows done. Afterwards, I felt a little sensitive, but figured it was nothing. When I got home, I checked and found that a huge chunk of my skin had been burned off. Even though the room was darkened, she checked to see if everything was even and should have noticed the burn and treated it and told me about it, which she did not. In the 8 years I have been getting my eyebrows waxed, I have never had this happen. During my manicure, she did not soak my cuticles, so when she was pushing them back, it was painful. However, their coconut milk pedicure was very decadent and relaxing, but not worth the $75 they charge. read more

For my birthday, I was given a 60 minute massage gift certificate for La Bella Spa. This place is literally a 5 minute walk from where I work but I'd never been there. As a personal trainer, massages are a necessity but I tend to neglect myself. So it was wonderful to enjoy a real massage and not a 10 minute quickie at the mall. I've only been to a real spa a couple of times so this was definitely a treat. First impressions were wonderful. I was greeted with a smile and a "Welcome" when I checked in. The woman behind the desk was very friendly and helpful. My appointment was at 10:45 and they were very prompt. Manda came out to the lobby and brought me upstairs to the massage area. The room was warm and comfortable. She spent a few minutes talking to me and asking questions that would help her to make it an enjoyable experience. And enjoyable it was!! I really have nothing negative to say at all. Manda was fabulous. She made me feel completely relaxed. At the end of the massage she told me that I should drink plenty of water, alternate between heat and cold, and relax for a couple of days. She also told me that she would love to see me again in a few weeks as I have some pretty bad knots in my back. (I knew I did and have been told as such by other massage therapists....I just don't take care of myself like I should lol) So I went ahead and made an appointment to see her again. I only gave 4 stars since I only have one experience there. But as soon as I have my next appointment I'm sure that will change to 5 stars. :) read more

I moved to Merritt Island three months ago and pass by here daily, so I decided to give it a try. I'm very pregnant right now so I opted for a Brazilian and a massage. This was my first waxing experience of any kind, and much less traumatizing than I thought it would be. The gal who did the waxing (I believe her name was Jessica) was very friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the session, not to mention the end result was perfect. No redness or soreness or anything else that I was expecting. The massage was also spot on. I've had a handful of them since moving to Florida two years ago, and none were particularly remarkable... Actually, the last one I had at a spa in Cocoa wasn't very good at all. I know the therapist (I believe Matthew - I am terrible with names) was a little hesitant because I wanted deep tissue simply because I'm in my third trimester, but he was great. I don't know how many of their other services really appeal to me, but that's only because I'm cheap and I DIY a lot of stuff; however, I would highly recommend these two based upon my experience. I would add that while they are ever so slightly out of the way... There's not very much that side of 528... The facility is very nice, inside and out. Plenty of parking behind the building (you can't really tell that from driving by), and nice ambiance inside. Not over the top on decor, pleasant aroma but not overbearing, and temperature was very comfortable (I'm always cold, and I feel like everyone here has a tendency to crank their AC). I have to politely disagree with whomever said there was too much merchandise, etc. That all seemed to be separate (near the check out area) and I didn't feel at any point like anyone was trying to up sell the hell out of me, which I always find very annoying. read more

My husband got me a gift certificate for a body polish, 1 hr massage, 30 minute facial, manicure and pedicure. The body polish was amazing. I felt like a new born baby when I got out of there. The showers system they have feels like you stood under a waterfall. A must have service for anyone visiting. The massage was not good. I'm a regular massage person and the touch was lacking. I also didn't care for the space they had me in with a partition between myself and the other room. The facial was ok. The pedicure and manicure were a waste. I've gotten better pedicures locally in town for $40. All in all its not a bad place, just not for me. I think they have way too many products in the lobby. read more

I decided to treat myself to a spa day for my birthday and my cousin recommended this place. It was amazing! I had a massage and facial and some waxing. Both technicians were friendly and professional. I was able to snag a sweet discount for my birthday with a percentage off each service. From what the lady in small gift shop where you check out and pay said, they have frequent promotions on their site. And if you go to the site you can see all the services they offer and how much each costs. The massage was heavenly and over all too quickly it seemed (it was that good!). The facial and waxing were done very nicely and the technician suggested a cleanser I should try that would be good for my skin. Which was surprising because every other time I've had a facial the technician recommended an entire line of products, not just one. I did buy the recommended product, which was on the pricey side at about $30 for a cleanser, but it does work really well, and a little goes a long way. So solid recommendation. I will definitely be going back. I'm thinking of making it a monthly splurge! The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is that I had to pay $10 for a robe, slippers, a locker, and access to the relaxation room. Though it did come with complimentary sauna access. The other spas I've been to offered this as a complimentary service, not something you have to pay for. Though to be fair the other spas were in New York and Connecticut, so I'm not sure if that is normal for this area. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience at La Bella. I started going here for CranioSacral Therapy 3 years ago and it has completely changed my life. Susana is a miracle worker. From the very first treatment the benefits were undeniable. I spent my entire life as a gymnast and a dancer and had a lot of unresolved trauma, through CST I now sleep better, have relief of TMJ, joint pain, back pain, and no longer get insane tension headaches in the base of my skull. I rarely get pedicures and do it myself because all of the Vietnamese places are quite literally crap. They are unsanitary, quick to herd you through their line, rough, thus causing pain and in some cases bleeding, etc, etc, etc... The old adage, 'You get what you pay for.' is so true. If you want to pay $15-$50 ($50 only after you've added on all the "only 5 dollars more" extras, you know what makes the spa pedicure a spa pedicure) for a pedicure then that is what you get. But if you are willing to pay more, you get more. La Bella Spa gives you more! I had the pleasure of having Alana for my first visit/pedicure and I will go to her again and again. I'm sure all the other ladies are just as good, but I tend to stick with what and who I know is good. Also, they have a lot of perks, for example, if you get their retail card you get 5% back to spend at the spa, or refer people, you get money back, or sign up for a regular spa appointment monthly for a year, you get money to spend at the spa. Just had an amazing spa day at La Bella. My Husband and I do a couples day at La Bella together as our gifts to each other for Christmas. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. This yeah we decided to schedule a massage to start our day, then did manicures and pedicures, eyebrow waxing and ended our day with another massage. The beginning and ending massages were awesome. We will definitely continue to do the double massage it is so worth it to be in total relaxation at the end of the day. Today I started with the Aromatherapy massage. It was so relaxing and the masseuse did a wonderful job. For my last massage of the day I had the Polynesian Lomi Lomi. This is my new favorite massage. It is a wonderful relaxing massage. You feel like there is more then one masseuse working on you. It was the perfect end to the perfect day at La Bella. I am ready to go back and do it all over again. read more
