My hair was looking muddy & not bright like I asked for. I hoped that Nicole could fix this by giving me some additional highlights. I was skeptical, but 20 minutes later my hair was looking beautiful and the color was just what I was hoping for!! She is knowledgeable and amazing and was definitely about taking good care of a new customer rather than making the most money. Thank you Nicole.....I hope you will do my hair for life!!

Had the worst day ever before coming to her, I am a high school student stressing out with all these tests and courses, I struggle with anxiety and I was crying before coming to her because I was super nervous of cutting my hair, I walk in and these ladies just greet me with a smile and I felt so comfortable with them. I sat down and she asked how I wanted it and kept on reassuring me on how I wanted it and liked it. Honestly the best experience of a hair salon I've ever had. Most hair salons just sit you down and cut your hair in a rush but maria takes her time to make everything perfect. She even curled my hair to look heist like my inspiration picture I showed her. This has been the first haircut I've been beyond thrilled with! I'm thrilled with the experience, the products they used in my hair, and the finished result. My hair before walking in was a mess from heat damage, and numerous bad haircuts; yet, Jessica was able to incorporate volume and movement into a classic style from my lifeless locks. I'll be coming back to have balayage done here for sure. Major kudos to Jessica for my hair! Thanks so much! Only thing I wish was that the haircut was cheaper. I felt like $40 was pretty pricey (but maybe times have changed...?) She spent almost an hour total on haircut, shampoo, and blow-dry (but had a lot to do since I had no layers, etc to my hair). However, the final result made me feel like it was money well spent.

She immediately recognized that my hair had some damage and was incredibly gentle with it, while making thoughtful recommendations about how to get it healthy and where I ultimately want the color to go. She truly listened and understood my goal rather than trying to get there all at once. I LOVE how it turned out--and even my husband loves it, which may be the highest endorsement available. Posting for a friend:…read more I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon, especially because I booked with the owner, Caroline, and initially felt completely comfortable trusting her with my hair. I went in to have my hair colored and thinned. The color itself is not the problem -- I actually really like the color. At the time of my appointment, the customer service was also pretty good. Unfortunately, the problems with my hair became very apparent once I got home and was able to thoroughly look at it. My hair was down to my tailbone, and I specifically explained that I did not want any of it cut off. I agreed to having it thinned instead. However, there was no proper sectioning when my hair was being dried and thinned. Only my ends were straightened, and I had to straighten my roots more when I got home before I could really see what had been done to my hair. Once I looked closely, I discovered that large chunks of my hair were missing, leaving me with what essentially looks like an involuntary undercut. My hair is now extremely unevenly thinned, and the overall condition feels and looks completely different from when I walked in. I contacted the salon after realizing what had happened and was very disappointed with the response. Caroline essentially dismissed my concerns and told me that it wasn't possible for the shears she used to cause what I was telling her, even when I tried to provide a photo. Eventually, she offered for me to come back so she could "even it out," but the problem is I don't have the hair there to even out. You can't put back several inches of hair that have already been removed. If Caroline felt that my ends were unhealthy and needed to be trimmed, I would have much rather her been honest with me and explained that before proceeding. I specifically said I did not want a haircut. Instead, I agreed to thinning, and afterward she repeatedly told me how healthy my hair looked. Unfortunately, my hair now feels and looks extremely fried and uneven. What makes this especially upsetting is that I had spent the past two years growing my hair to my tailbone. I took a lot of pride in the length and was very careful about it. Now I'm having to find another stylist who can hopefully fix as much as possible, and I'm going to have to lose approximately six inches of hair just to try to correct the damage and unevenness. This has honestly affected me mentally more than I expected. Hair may seem like "just hair" to some people, but when you've spent years growing it and caring for it, having it unexpectedly cut/thinned unevenly can be incredibly upsetting. I am not leaving this review because I didn't like the color -- I actually do like the color. I'm leaving it because of the condition and unevenness of my hair afterward, the lack of proper sectioning during the thinning process, and, most importantly, how my concerns were handled once I brought the issue to the owner's attention. I truly wish this had been handled differently. I felt safe booking with Caroline specifically because she is the owner, and unfortunately, that trust was lost after this experience and the lack of concern or remorse afterward. Also, I placed a Google review today and unfortunately the owner isn't professional enough to contact the source and correct the problem. Instead, she deleted my whole review and since(within the last hour) has had multiple 5 star reviews posted specifically stating her name(the owner, Caroline). Obviously these reviews are paid for. I would steer clear of this salon.
