The Walgreens in Cocoa Beach has everything you may have forgotten to bring with you to the beach. There's beach towels, sandals, touristy tee shirts, a plethora of sunscreen and so much more. Of course, this is a pharmacy so you can pick up your prescription here. They of course have all the usual things one may find at a Walgreens, such as shampoo, cosmetics, and over the counter medicine. I've noticed the prices are a bit higher than at my local Walgreens. One interesting thing they sell here, that I've never seen at a pharmacy is beer. They sell 24 packs of beer, why make multiple stops, when you can only make one? Given that back to school season is quickly approaching, you can also find all sorts of back to school essentials at this Walgreens. Conveniently, they also have restrooms for customers. read more

This Walgreens is near the corner of A1A and SR520, so it's a busy section in Cocoa Beach, near the water, but also near the town. There are many businesses nearby, including rival CVS. We stopped because we needed some cotton balls and I had a coupon that I could use for this purchase.They had a large selection of them. The store was clean and nicely organized. read more

When it's hot and humid, water is a must. Stock up on bottled water. Grab some snacks while you're at it. Did you forget anything else on your trip or not want to pack too much? Pick it up here. Nice and bright. Neat and clean. You know what to expect. You could just hit up one of the tourist places but you'll pay more. Oh my gosh, I did it again...I traveled all the away across the country on a business trip and forgot something: my toothbrush. I discovered this, of course, after getting to my hotel room and preparing for bed. I was tired, and I didn't want to run all over the place looking for this. Luckily, Walgreens was near my hotel, and was open. This is a nice Walgreens, like most other locations. It is clean and well-organized. Most importantly, they were open (open 24/7), and they had what I needed. I quickly found my precious toothbrush, purchased it from the friendly Walgreens cashier, and headed back to the hotel. I am a cancer patient visiting Cocoa Beach for a month (we live in Chicago). The pharmacist at this store location refused to fill a prescription from out of state even after my oncologist called to confirm and address any of his concerns. I understand the need for safeguards, but this pharmacist's actions were inappropriate. read more

This Walgreens was my local hangout used to go there for everything but recently they stopped being open 24 hours which is a big bummer since I have a illness that requires me to stay out of sun shopping Walgreens at night was great now I am forced Togo to cvs,,, Lately when I have gone to Walgreens the staff has been. The employee on night shift was extremely rude to me & tried to make me feel bad about buying so much. She wasn't even bagging my items. She was throwing them down on the counter after ringing them. I'm not sure why many of the employees here are so snotty, but they are the sole reason I don't go into this store as much as I'd like. They have really great deals and a clean, yet older, store and a well stocked pharmacy. I've seen some newer faces here lately, so maybe the customer service will improve. read more

AWFUL customer service. It seems like almost every time I come to this Walgreens pharmacy there is a problem. The last time, the lady swore I did not have insurance coverage so I paid out of pocket (when I got home I called insurance and of course I did have it as I told her repeatedly). And this latest time, I went to pick up my birth control. It was supposed to be for 3 months but the lady, Lee, only had a one month supply (already labeled and ready for me to take). I told her there was a 3 month. Sure enough she found it. So without asking, she cancelled the one in her hand and told me I had to come back to get the 3 month. I asked her repeatedly to please just give me the one month so I could get home to my child. She refused (even though she was literally holding it in her hand). And told me I had to "circle the parking lot" until she put it back in the system and called me. I pleaded with her to please give it to me so I go. She refused. Told me it was my fault she took it out of the system. I did finally get it (after circling and pleading) but it was so much aggravation that I would like to change pharmacies. read more

This time they were what I expected, however the last time I was here I had one of those travel emergencies that required a prescription. Getting sick enough while you're travelling to need medication prescribed sucks enough, but when the pharmacy is incompetent, it compounds the pain. Long story short, when I forced them to provide me with good service, they did. But I had to make them do it. If you're not willing/able to bring down the hammer to get good service, go someplace else. read more

We come to Cocoa beach quite a bit, and if we ever forget to bring something, like sunscreen, this is where we stop to get it. This is a fairly large drug store, and they carry everything you would expect, and more, including beach items. They also are as well stocked on snacks and drinks as any convenience store, so we often stop in for that sort of stuff also. I am one of those tourists that always forget something and this trip it was my blood pressure medicine. After I chose this Walgreens, site unseen, we had my script called in. Not only were they very friendly when I got to the counter, but they were helpful and though it wasn't ready, they took my phone number to call me when it was. About 15 minutes later maximum they called and I got my medicine along with some helpful tips about not only the prescription but also the Cocoa Beach area. I don't know how Walgreens across the south do it, but I've always had helpful and timely service at any one I've been to. read more

If you live in Cocoa Beach this is a great place for middle of the night shopping. Has milk eggs frozen food beer etch plus all items for headache etch. A lot of people forget you can do all night shopping without going over the bridge. read more
