What a wonderful shopping experience! This was my first time visiting this Macy's. I am a big fan of Macy's and always find something. I'm staying in nearby Cocoa Beach and needed to do some shopping. I was very pleasantly surprised at the selection, the cleanliness of the store and the excellent customer service. I received five star service from Geneva, Jessica, and Danny. They were very helpful in assisting me with clothing and fragrance. This Macy's is a hidden gem. read more

This Tiny Macy's was nicer than expected. It has 2 floors with a "Macy's Backstage" taking up part of the upstairs. When riding the escalator, you can see the entire first floor fairly easily. Since it's smaller, it didn't have as many choices as the Macy's in other malls. Even pathetic Fashion Square Mall in Orlando was a lot bigger. I guess it's the area in which it lives. I didn't find much to choose from here, but if I return to Merritt Island, I'll stop in and see what the store has to offer. read more

This afternoon, I bought skincare products online that I wasn't very satisfied with, so I went to return them. It's the first time I've used this brand, and I felt that the effects hyped online were greatly exaggerated. Maria, a very beautiful young lady at the cosmetics counter at Macy's, was extremely understanding of why I wanted to return the products. Macy's should be ashamed of themselves. My husband and I were at the Merritt Island shopping center this past weekend. When we walked into Macy's, it was equivalent to walking into a sauna! We were looking for something specific, so we dealt with the suffocating heat. By the time we reached the second floor I could hardly breathe! it was terrible. One of the employees whispered that they weren't supposed to say anything, but the AC was broken. BROKEN! Can you imagine having to do your hair, face, and wardrobe to go sit in a sauna?! I certainly hope that the employees working in that environment were compensated. Corporate G R E E D at its finest. Shameful. read more

I love this store and prefer to drive the extra 45 minutes to come to this locates verse driving 20 minutes to the Daytona Beach location. The store is alway neat and organized and very clean. I also find they have a great selection of men's clothing and a great selection of summer beachwear. It's like the Tommy Bahama Superstore and this store actual honors the discount sale coupons they mail me for anything in the store unlike a lot of Macy's store that only honor them on certain brands. The staff has always gone above and beyond to help find anything I need. I understand they are commissioned based sale representatives but it's refreshing to be greeted with a smile for a change. I definitely recommend this location. read more

Came here to get a free 10 day supply of foundation at lancome (got the coupon on a makeup set I got) This woman who greeted me on a Sunday afernoon was one of the most annoying woman I have ever met! First she asked me if I have ever bought lancome products before, like did she think that Lancome in particular is out of budget for me? Or because of my ethnicity I din use Lancome? Then she proceeded to pissed me off even more. She said -oh I will find a dark shade to go with your tone we need to cover all this redness" " you could really use moisturizer, you know- what the heck, this is coming from a middle age woman with bad skin herself, black roots and bleach dry blond hair, I mean come on! To make matters worst she got foundation on my hair! And she just says -Opsss this never happens- Gosh! Then my husband came back to see If I was done (he was holding our baby girl) the makeup consultant steps out and said to him "oh shes beautiful with blue eyes like her daddy and I guess that will go well with dark hair, you are a lucky mama" My eyes are brown and my hair is jet black bytheyway, which according to this woman Im lucky my daugther did not inherit. I felt discriminated by this b$&@ in so many ways, I will never go to a macys for makeup. I will stick to sephora and ulta since I have never experience any prejudice there. read more

Was looking for a cute handbag (when am I not?) so I popped into Macy's. Although I didn't fall in love with a bag, I was really impressed with the service at this store! The ladies in the bag/sunglasses section were very sweet, talkative and helpful. It was a pretty slow night so they had extra time to chat. The store is the old Burdine's, and it's pretty obvious. It looks old a kind of dingy, definitely not what you'd expect at Macy's. It could use a serious facelift. The men's department was a bit of a mess, and the fitting rooms were a disaster. The young guy working was nice but seemed like he was a little overwhelmed with all he had to do. Overall, service is good but the rest of the store gets a "meh". read more

I'm not a fan of this stores makeup department. I've had many bad experiences here. The most recent being that I was sent home, after trying to return my makeup, with the same color I tried to return! I asked for a different color and tried on different colors, I requested to be sent home with another sample, and they sent me home with a sample of the same color I attempted to return. The sales associate even had the nerve to tell me that I needed to wait because she had a paying customer to tend to, I was there first and I was returning something I had bought! They said something similar to me, previously when I called as well. The worst customer experience I've ever encountered at a beauty counter. read more

I bought a pair of shoes hoping for a good result. The shoes were uncomfortable and I tried to return them after breaking them in. The customer service person was rude, unhelpful and of no use. So, I called the 800 number and Macy's agreed to take the shoes back after 30 minutes of explaining the situation. They sent me a label to ship them back to the store and I did so. Several days later I got the shoes back in the mail with a note saying they won't take them back. I am currently on my second hour with the call center offshore trying to straighten it out. This manager could have been a good guy and earned my business. Instead he's become a huge thorn in my side and I doubt I will ever shop at Macy's again. read more

Love this store, they almost seem like true caring friends. Be lost without our local Merritt Island Macy's. So blessed we have something within a few miles from home. The sales are to die for. Where can you get clothes for such a great price. Not even Walmart or TJ Max beats their sale prices. The manager is awesome he'll meet and beat any jewelry sale. Went to Orlando and found a diamond bracelet and they beat the sale price over there. They may not have everything but look on line and then go talk to them. Like to touch, see, and feel, on line shopping is for the birds you always seem to have to return something unless you know or have bought the product before. read more

This Macy's is ok. Their collections for formal dress in women department is pretty small and the jewelry department have literally nothing. The staff is good, depend who take care of you but overall nice. Much better than the one is Melbourne read more

The selection at this Macy's is much better than Melbourne! I no longer live in Fl, but come here to stock up on a new wardrobe twice a year with my Grandma. Some of the associates are so sweet and helpful, however a lot of the associates are very rude and not helpful at all. The last few visits have not been pleasant. I go in for the O'Neill brand clothing, but I'd rather drive somewhere else to have a friendlier experience. read more
