Meant to write this earlier... came here for the first time on Friday 9/25/15. Made the appointment on Wednesday 9/23/15 with Sybil based on recommendations from other yelp reviews. Let me just say I had a mess going on with my hair and it needed some TLC FAST!!! I arrived just on time because I needed to get my workout in :) Sybil will understand that one lol I was immediately greeted by Lindsey and Sybil and I knew I was going to love this studio and I absolutely do!!! Sybil was not bothered in the least bit about how much work needed to be done to make my hair look amazing again since I was without a hair dresser. She was so friendly and entertaining, it honestly felt like I've known her for years. We had so much in common that for once I didn't mind sitting in that chair for almost 3 hours. I also loved the fact that she got opinions about how to do my hair correctly before making a decision that would affect my hair in a positive or negative way. She blended the color so well in order to fix the "band" of blonde running towards the back of my head from the last highlights I had in June. She then listened to me and made suggestions so that I could afford this look on a less regular basis. She also gave me great recommendations for hair products that were for the type of hair I have. I bought those products and have been loving them ever since!!! Sybil also cut my hair in a way that it doesn't feel like 50lbs of hair on my head and I'm finally able to wear it down without it poofing all over the place. The music was reggae.... so of course I was having a blast. The positive vibe in this studio is amazing!! All the staff were so friendly and always asking if I wanted coffee, water or anything else to make my visit the best it can be. I honestly can't wait to go back again!! I have referred my friends and family to Salt and I have no doubts they will love it there as much as I do. Thanks for a great time ladies!!! read more

I came here for the first time to get my hair colored and get a trim and reshaping as well. The stylists were very good listeners and communicators and were able to replicate the photo I showed them, perfectly! It was fun talking to them as well. The salon is very clean and I did make my next appointment so I will be back! read more

Since I found Salt in 2017 I've been so happy. Some people don't really understand how hard it is when you move to find a good no great Salon! Hairstylist are chemist and Salt Salon has chemists. Chan is amazing and I'm taking a chance doing this Yelp cause Chan is already busy now Salt will be much busier. They are phenomenal friendly and make you hair WOW WOW!!! read more

Make sure you get a price in writing. One of the stylist quoted me a price and I agreed to the service, then when it came time to pay the owner said "no" it took so long and I had thick hair and charged me nearly $100 extra. I just moved to Satellite Beach from DE in July and have been petrified to try and find a new hairstylist. After many weeks of Yelp research I decided to go to Salt Hair Studio. Sybil was the stylist who worked with me, and my worries were instantly put at ease. First, all of the ladies there were extremely friendly and welcoming, I felt comfortable the minute I walked through the door. Sybil was amazing, she and I connected instantly, I felt as though I've known her all my life. She got my color spot on and my cut was exactly what I asked for, she really listened to my needs. The salon itself is on the smaller side, perfect if you ask me, they seem to know all of their clients really well. It's clean, light and airy and has a very warm and inviting vibe to it, the perfect beachside salon. I cannot stress how happy I am with my experience at Salt and how much I loved Sybil. I love Salt Hair! I moved here a year ago and went to a franchise salon. I'm so thankful I changed my mind and decided to go to a local business. Trish does my hair and after 15 years of marriage my husband said she does my hair the best, and he loves it. All the employees are nice, friendly, and listen to want their clients want. They do a wonderful job and care about their clients satisfaction. I recommend making an appointment with whoever you get because they are all a "cut above" the rest. Their prices are reasonable, I didn't have sticker shock because I have a lot of hair, and they use professional products. read more

I have finally found someone who can make my hair look amazing! Marty is now at Salt Hair Studio and she consistently makes my hair look great. From foils to color and cut and style, no one does hair better! She recently moved from a salon close to my house to her new location at Salt. There was NEVER any doubt that I wouldn't follow her. I've tried many different salons and I don't trust anyone but Marty with my hair. If you're looking for a new stylist, Marty at Salt is worth the drive. read more

The professionalism and friendliness are better than any other salon I've been to--and being a military spouse means that I've been to a lot. I waited a few days after my haircut/color to write this to see how my naturally curly hair would lay when styled at home and let me say I LOVE IT. I moved to Florida four months ago and prayed I would find a hairdresser that knows how to cut naturally wavy/curly dry hair and thank you to Sybil to giving me the best cut I've had in a long time. She also color corrected my hair as I was box dying it at home and it kept getting darker and darker. She managed to lighten me up and make my hair look soft and warm. I just can't say enough. Lindsey is so incredibly friendly and does such an amazing job with my highlights and cut, cannot recommend her enough. From this area but took me 3 years to find her and now will never leave her. Tried multiple places in area and they were not nearly as good as her and charged ridiculous prices. Hair studio is done in a great relaxed style and staff is very friendly. Incredibly frustrated and disappointed with my recent cut. I had been in once before and the cut was pretty good but this time was bad. Chan did not listen to what I said and my hair looked awful after. I said that I wear my hair tied back most of the time and the most important thing was that it all went into a ponytail. Alternately when I style it I showed pictures of long flowy curls away from my face. She gave me a cut with annoyingly short wisps that frames my face which is not flattering nor what I asked for. When I got home my husband asked me if I had drivenhome with the windows open in the car (I did not). I showed my friend the next day (after telling her over the phone how bad it was) and she gasped when she saw the bad cut. The worst part of it all as I was paying I heard the stylists in the backroom say "it's just hair". If you don't care what hair looks like you should change your profession. Going to be cursing the salon for all the months it takes for my hair to grow back. When I asked Chan how she was doing she said she was "too busy". She is doing her clients and herself a disservice for overbooking herself. read more

Love this place. Been there for I think 4 haircuts now. Once was from very long hair to short hair. Lindsey is awesome and so sweet. I usually go to her but she was booked so Chan worked with me, who was also spectacular. Can't go wrong here-the place is clean and the size makes it feel personable. I think it's really important that they also have such nice receptionists. They always answer the phone right away and are friendly. Finally, the prices are reasonable. read more
