Gina Lowe changed my life! I had been struggling with my hair for years. I wasn't ready to go gray or short--which often seems to be the default solution for women my age (56). Gina immediately knew what to do with both my color and style. Her blonde is perfect! It blends beautifully with my gray and makes me feel like the best version of myself. She also shared styling tips and product recommendations that have made a huge difference in how I feel about my hair day to day. Gina also did my daughter's hair, and it is absolutely stunning. She has long mermaid hair that had quite a bit of sun and water damage, and Gina worked her magic. My daughter is delighted! Gina is incredibly talented, and I'm so happy I found her. read more

Allan is my go-to stylist. I trust him with my hair. You can bring in an ai photo if you want and he will make it happen. Matched the color and bangs I came in wanting. It's easy to make an appointment online. The studio has a laidback vibe with plants, and it is right across from the beach. read more

Gina Lowe has completely transformed my hair. I get highlights and color done and she manages to maintain the strength and integrity of my hair so I don't have breakage. My hair is the healthiest it has been because of her. I used to have chunks of my hair missing because of the breakage and after 3 years of coming to Gina, I only come to her. She is great with blondes - and any color/haircut. read more

Mirth Salon is fantastic! I had the most horrible haircut of my life at another salon in 2021, thankfully Brooke at Mirth was able to salvage my hair into a stylish cut! I have been going to her since, and she's a wizard with scissors and is a color queen. My hair color has never looked better, it's blended so nicely. I drive over an hour to see Brooke and don't mind at all. I would definitely recommend her and this salon! read more

I only trust one person with my hair. Geena is that person, and she is worth traveling for. Although I live in Orlando, it's not too bad of a drive to get over there. The salon owner and all of the staff are really nice. You can tell that everyone that works there is very close and supportive of one another. When I go, I make sure to tell Geena about what I want and also show her pictures. It's the best way to ensure that I get what I want. I also love the Verb line that they use! read more

I've been debating leaving this review but also putting it out to see if anyone has the same struggle. About 7 months ago i went to this salon and got my hair dyed brown. about a week later i started losing a ton of hair. And this continued for about a month. I never thought anything of it i just assumed it was due to stress because of personal reasons. I went to this salon again 4 weeks ago and a week later started losing my hair again. I debated leaving this review because again not sure why i'm losing hair going here. The past two times i've been i've lost a ton of hair. All the hairstylist do amazing but im confused why im losing hair. Mind you im a teenager and ive gotten my hair done from other salons in the past and have never had this issue. Not sure if it's something with my scalp or anything of that matter. read more

I love this salon. Taylor is an amazing stylist and she always takes what you want into consideration. Today she cut my hair, did my eyebrows and added some green to my hair too. I love every cut I get from her and today was the best! read more

I needed a cut and color so bad. I gave Seven at Mirth a shot. She fit me in last minute and wow I am so glad she did!!! Seven is hands down, the BEST stylist I have ever had cut and color my hair!! When I went in I hadn't had a styled cut in a year and my color was looking old and washed out. I work a corporate job but wanted something a bit edgier but not too much since my career requires me to stay a bit conservative during the work week. She exceeded my expectations in every way. My bangs look bangin' and my style and color look better than they have in well, ever!! If you want a stylist that takes her time and gives you 100% then Seven is the stylist for you!! Please do yourself a favor and have her do your hair. Just once and you'll be a customer for life like me. read more

I live in California and have a handful of amazing stylists here that I adore. However, I would rather take a flight to Florida and see Sandy. She is a dedicated and talented owner/stylist whom has an amazing skill set. Being in the beauty industry myself I can confidently say I trust her. Sandy's eye for color and cutting skills are on point.. so you could only imagine what the rest of the mirth ladies have to offer. These women are the best around. If you live around the space coast this is where your next hair appointment will be. Quote me! read more

I've been going here for years after my original hair stylist stopped doing hair. Sandy has always given me realistic expectations on coloring, cut, styling, and products. And I have NEVER been disappointed. After years of bleaching and having platinum/silver hair, I decided to ditch the damage and the upkeep for my natural black-dark brown locks. My hair has never been healthier and happier. Eventually I'll probably get bored and decide I want something crazy again and I know everyone at Mirth will steer me in the right direction to achieve the hair I love and also keep it from falling off. Love this salon! Great prices and friendly service. Mindy Rodriguez always has my hair looking it's best and super healthy.

I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars! I had amazing service from Taylor, but all of the stylists there were attentive with their clients. I've been to some salons where they often double book clients and that makes you feel neglected. Mirth does not do this! Taylor listened to exactly what I wanted and she delivered beautifully! She took her time with my hair to protect it, made sure I understood what she was doing during the whole process, and styled it to perfection. I already have my next appointment booked! If you are looking for a salon experience with great ladies who you can trust to make you look gorgeous, go to Mirth! read more

I love this salon and my hair after!!! Brooke is my gal and she always makes me leave feeling amazing!! The BEST place for a cut and color!!

I can't say enough great things about the stylists and environment at Mirth. I've been to Sandy since 2018 and recently had to move and was absolutely heartbroken to leave her. She's super kind and has always done such an amazing job working with me, all of my hair and my trust issues with hair stylists. Lol Along with Sandy, The whole staff is super talented, welcoming and compassionate. They did hair and make up for myself and my bridal party for my wedding - everyone looked beautiful and it was so much fun to be in a place with such good energy. (I've also worked with Brooke before and aside from being the sweetest, she did an amazing job with my hair as well!) read more

I want to like this salon so bad because it's so close but after 3 different hairstylists, I'm going to go somewhere else. 1. You will literally be there all day because they have no assistants. 2. The place is super small and uncomfortable. 3. You will never be 100% satisfied with your color. It's always just "decent". Word of advice to the owner: if you're going to keep people there for 5 hours, at least have complimentary mimosas or coffee (even if it's just on weekends). All I got was some filtered tap water (that I had to ask for). Maybe I've just been spoiled at Orlando and Jacksonville salons...? read more

I've been here a couple times, and I must say that I always receive an excellent haircut. The staff is polite and accommodating. I typically have my appointments with Taylor, and she is great. As I am never organized enough to schedule my appointment more than a day out, I've naturally had other ladies cut my hair and they've done spectacular as well. From the moment I enter, I know I'm in good hands. As far as men's haircuts go, I don't always know exactly what I want, or how to articulate it; however, the stylists there have excellent intuition and keep my hair looking great. I always see the owner there as well. She appears to run a very good business, with excellent morale and a pleasant ambiance. Mirth is definitely worth checking out! read more

I reallly really wanted to like this salon cause of all the great reviews and beautiful hair pics being posted on social. However, I went to get a cut here and did not came out the way I expected. I told her (Taylor) I wanted layers/bangs to frame my face, but sadly my hair came out to barely any layers, and my bangs is way too short even though I told her I wanted the length to be where my eyebrows are. She cut it ABOVE my brows, and trimmed them way too sparse. Now, I paid $55 (+tips) for no layers and funny short/sparse looking bangs. read more

I previously had my hair lifted very light with no problem and showed pictures of that process 5 years prior. It was also around that period that I did the henna treatment so I don't have that hair anymore. Do a test strand at least if you're not sure of what will happen. I don't know why I have to justify dying my hair with lines like my great-grandmother had light hair so my hair lifts easily. I literally said my hair was red during childhood and my mother has red hair and those are my genes and you still refused to do anything to help with getting the color I wanted. Not everyone's hair is the same just because of color. Also, I said silver/lavender. read more

Sandy is my go to girl. I absolutely love her. Not only is she awesome but she is crazy talented. If you are a long hair girl like myself, who loves long hair, but feels like it just sits and no matter what has zero texture. She is the solution to all your problems. Sandy kills a long hair do like no one I have ever met. I took my good friend to her for a pixie cut and she also absolutely loved it. I would never go to anyone else. Hesitant to write this review as I worry too many people will go and I won't get an appointment - haha! Really a GEM salon! Love the vibe - neutral colors, beautiful plants, and great music. My hair dresser, Sandy, is super nice and explains everything so well. The salon is very clean in an easy to find beachside location. Newish to the area, this was my third salon - my two previous left the area with no notice. They say everything happens for a reason and now feel lucky to have found Mirth. After decades of one process color to hide the grays and more recently one balayage and highlights my hair was turning brassy and orange. Sandy suggested I try bleach and toner and I am loving the look. Bonus: new growth is not as striking and instead of treatments every 6 weeks I can go 8 and likely up to 10. This will be my go-to salon for a long time. Super happy! read more

Thank you to the entire staff of mirth for always getting me in last minute with my crazy schedule! Sandy has fixed my hair from a past hair disaster and I can't thank her enough, along with her wonderful staff who have always been down to throw me in the schedule for an eyebrow wax. I won't be going anywhere else in brevard! Highly recommend. I'd also like to add that I occasionally have to bring my two year old with me and the entire staff is always willing to give her snacks and things to do if she gets restless which that alone speaks volumes you aren't there to babysit but you always go far beyond expectations! read more

I am very pleased with my haircut! Taylor was lovely and the space is very pretty. Products were reasonably priced, as well.

The girls at Mirth just Get it. I walked into mirth with orange chunky hair from a previous job gone wrong. I wish I went to Mirth first. Mirth Salon is a treasure of the Space Coast! Megan is an absolute godsend! My mother had an unfortunate experience with her last stylist and was very worried about the future health of her hair. I contacted Mirth and they couldn't have been nicer. Megan was very professional and accommodating with her while listening to her concerns. One appointment later and she absolutely loves her hair! Minimalist, eclectic decor, and it has what's important - great stylists. Good vibe, very laid back atmosphere, the stylists dress trendy/casual, and always have a steady stream of clients coming through. My mother felt so comfortable and truly felt cared for. Sandy is the owner and very kind. She knows how to hold space for her immaculate team of dedicated hair professionals. Visit Mirth to make your hair dreams come true, you won't regret it! read more

You must go Sandy for ANY of your hair needs! It is difficult finding someone who knows how to do excellent color and cuts in this town. The first time I saw her, she repaired a bad highlighting job from another stylist at a "high end" salon (haha). She not only protected and kept my hair healthy but exceeded expectations and made my hair look natural. She now cuts my sons hair as well- he has super thick hair that shows every slice of the scissors- of course, Sandy rocked that as well. Ladies, you need her! Shampoo bowls are amazing. First ones that do not hurt my neck. Very comfortable and relaxing environment. Top of the line products. I have had 10 years experience trying to find a decent stylist in this area. Look no longer! read more

Extremely talented stylists who do amazing color and truly care about your hair. Highly recommend!!!

Poor Customer Service I took my daughter to get a haircut and paid $35. The service was excellent and she (my daughter) loved her new hair...so I made an appointment for my older daughter to get a haircut the following day with the same stylist, SANDRA TUCKER. When I went to pay the bill, the stylist told me that the price would be $75, since my daughter was over 12 years old. I was shocked that she had not mentioned that earlier. I can't understand why the exact same service costs more than double, simply because my older daughter is 13 years old. And I seriously can't figure out why the stylist neglected to inform me of that until after she provided the service. I'm tired of being "nickel and dimed". It's so frustrating! (The stylist did reduce the price to $65 after I questioned her, but it's still ridiculous) I sent a review directly to Sandra via email, hoping that she would try to correct the unfortunate situation. Here is her email response: "Hi there, it was truly a pleasure cutting your girls hair. Im sorry to hear the salon is not in your budget, but the price is salon policy. It is not standard practice to quote pricing to each client, though we happily answer any inquiries prior to your service. I wish you the best in finding a stylist who fits the pricing structure you are looking for. Best wishes, Sandy Tucker" She obviously made some bold assumptions in her pretentious response and her arrogance gave me one more reason why we will not be going to her for any services in the future. It's too bad that she doesn't value her clients because she is a talented stylist/hairdresser. read more

This salon is "the" hidden gem of Brevard county. Sandy is very talented and I love my LOB. The aesthetics and decor of the salon is very refreshing, airy, light and modern --something Brevard is missing and needs more of. This place will definitely be my go-to and I would highly recommend it. Ladies and gents, if you want to feel and look hip (trendy) give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed. P.S The shampoo job was Ah-mazing, a scalp massage is always tantalizing and relaxing and to top it off, the products used are yummy. Thanks again Sandy, you made me feel revived after such a trying week. read more

These five stars are for Seven Tracey. You absolutely want her as your hair stylist. I regularly went to her when she cut in Chicago, and she saw me through growing my hair from a faux hawk to a bob. If anyone has done it, you know how awkward it can be. Yet, I regularly received compliments on my hair throughout the growing out process. Plus, I always liked my cuts the next day as well as five weeks later. There was never the three day waiting period to like it, and they always grew-in well too. I also knew that if I ever wasn't happy with a cut (which never happened) that I could tell her, and she would fix it. She's so lovely that I'm writing this review when she now lives five states away because if she can't be my hair stylist any more, at least I can spread the word for how lucky you'll be if she's yours. read more
