I had been growing out my brows after a couple of hack jobs that left them with gaps and misshapen. I was looking for a salon to reshape them and came across Beauty by Thread while walking through the mall. The lady who did my brows did a great job with shape, but it felt like she was pulling out individual hairs which hurt a lot and left a lot of cuts on my skin. I've been here a few times now and many of the ladies have a similar threading style so I typically come at the end of the day so I don't have to be seen with reddened skin. Although the process is more painful than I've experienced in the past, I like that they listen when I describe how I like my brows shaped and stay pretty true to that. Cost is reasonable too at $15. I'll continue to return until they give me a reason not to. read more

I have been going here for over a year in the beginning I did not like it; every time I went there was a new employee and no one was ever consistent. However, I went to Gerjit and I absolutely fell in love; she is so sweet, so amazing, absolutely caring, and she always asked me if I need a break, just let her know. I'm a returning customer and this has been my go to location to get my brows done but today's experience was extremely disappointing. I asked to get my brows threaded NOT my lash extensions threaded?? Upon mandy realizing that she messed up, she didn't even brush off the excess brow hairs on my face or offer anything for her mistake. I left that store extremely upset and will not be returning to book with this brow tech... I don't understand how this was possible at ALL especially if you are licensed. read more

Although she is only here in Folsom on Tuesdays and Sundays and 4 days in Citrus Heights, you can always download the app to secure your spot and know she is there. I frequent this location so much I totally owe them a review. The Beauty by Thread location at the Folsom outlet is one of many but the service completely stands out from the rest. You can walk-in, schedule an appointment online, or call and typically be seen the same day. I particularly love this location because my gal knows how to shape my brows and I've never walked out unhappy. Everyone at the store is helpful and customer service oriented. They keep the store very clean and it's in a nice quiet corner of the mall so you don't have to worry about people looking at you while you're in the chair. It's also a bright place with lots of pretty jewelry on display. Most threading places I've been to in the past and have seen around the area have been a bit grungy -- they also try to sell you on other products and services making things a bit uncomfortable if a quick clean-up is all you came in for -- but that isn't how it is here. They're professional and they keep things light and friendly. If you've never been to a Beauty by Thread store, they have a rewards program where you can earn points towards free services. It's a nice little perk that would otherwise have gone unnoticed. read more

Me and daughter have been going here and one other Location, She jus started this year since she is 12- walk in as usual and she ask for my daughters account she doesn't have one i gave her mine. She said she needs one i said she is 12 she does not we been coming for over a year together. She asks me hold while she makes a call i said ok she proceeded to tell me that they have to be over 13 to do it.. she then makes a call talks in punjabi and for some reason doesn't think i could understand... i let her finish that call and after she hung up she said "ya we can't" i said " because you lied, and the fact you think i didn't understand is mind blowing.. but okayyy " .. it's weird how people assume you don't understand.. I drove up from Ukiah to go shopping, I stumbled across this place! I was completely satisfied with my experience at Beauty by Thread at the Folsom outlet mall. I went with my daughter. First off, I was walking in and Mandy was sanitizing/cleaning up, which I found to be awesome! Temperature was taken, she made sure we saw her sanitize every chair, every tool, which made it comfortable to be there. She explained every tool she was using, and the process of everything. It was my daughters first time, and she was super nice and made sure my daughter felt comfortable. I am completely amazed, and she was so sweet!!
