Booking was really easy and convenient through their online booking portal. They offer services from 9am - 9pm, seven days a week which is amazing and unlike any other salons around the DMV. Loved this lash boutique! It was super cute, girly, and so chic inside. I also thoroughly enjoyed listening to the music that was playing throughout the salon which was a mix of current hits instead of elevator style instrumental music I usually am stuck listening to while having my lashes done. Kiara, better known as Keys, was my lash technician and was waiting with a pleasant smile on her face when I arrived, despite my being a few minutes late. She was so personable, warm, and friendly that it felt like we'd known each other for years despite being my first visit to Winkd for lashes for my birthday trip. Keys was very informative, answered all my questions, and kept me very relaxed and entertained through my service. She accomplished both my lash extensions and brow tinting with such gentle care and precision, even though I was running late and she had another client right after my appointment. I'm not sure any other place or lash technician would have been so accommodating. Unfortunately, despite following the instructions I was given for lash care, my extensions only lasted me 4 days which was a bit disappointing for the $180 base price I paid for my set. My lash extensions don't always last as long as my friends' and colleagues' but i typically am able to keep them for at least 7-10 days minimum. I also wished the $30 brow tint would have come with a little brow trim or clean up, not a full shaping, arching, or waxing but a quick little trim or clean up would have been nice before the tint application. This would have been similar to how when I have my polish changed at my nail salon, they do a quick trim / file/ buff of any misshapen nails before polish application, as a courtesy. Those aspects would not deter me from recommending Keys or Winkd salon to a friend though, so check them out and get yourself WinkdByKeyyyss *****check them out with that name on IG).
